Yes, many people think that 700 is wayy too much, so it'd be better if it was 500 like a lot of players originally thought. |

@Elizabeth that would've been a wayyy better way of saying that. Not like they even told us outright though "hey, buffy balls are now 700 DB!" We figured it out early this morning in chat when someone mentioned the change in the wiki, confused about why it said 700 instead of 500 :/ ![]() Edited on 12/08/17 @ 12:15:17 by FoxxNote [Main] (#115741) |

I think the change in the price made it so a lot of people weren't as interested in it, honestly? I know I haven't been exploring as much since I found out. ![]() ![]() |

@FoxxNote Wow. Complete BS. I was so happy that I got to 1000 Dry Bones because I thought I could get 2 buffy balls but nope, throw that out the window. If they would have posted something about a price change that wasn't right freaking before the shop opened, I would probably be fine about it. ![]() |

Less people are probably adventuring right now in the mess this is. Some people are going to not do it out of protest, some are upset/in shock and may return later once they cool off, and some of us are busy talking here. ![]() ![]() |

@Elizabeth Same, I'm just a few away from 1000DB, and now I have to rush to get 400 more. ![]() |

Supported. I'm a casual player, I don't get on enough to get that many! ![]() |

@HedaRedBox A thousand a month or..? I play casually, so I'm not current with that knowledge. but some creators break it down like... monthly fee to run site, cost of labor, hired help, living expenses (especially if full time on working a site is your sole/primary income) server costs and repair, etc. Do we at this time have public access to a general breakdown? ![]() |

No, not that I'm aware of, but I've seen at least 3 users that claim spending high amounts on this game. But that's of little matter because even little amounts add up. If we have 1000 players online on average (I'm making a scenario, don't take it literally, just look at the numbers), and half spent $10 on GB this month. The staff earned $5,000 in a month (not counting March bc they donate to anti poaching that month). As I said before, they do not even pay their mods or helpers. I would merely like to inquire where all their money is going. ![]() |

i feel like that's all this is, a way to prompt more players to pay their way into the game it's not even worth it either, i spend that much money on this game because i'm seventeen and live w/ my parents, so i'm still able to spend the money i work for on games, but a lot of players on lioden are adults or self dependent teens and not everyone can afford paying their way ;;v;; ![]() Edited on 12/08/17 @ 12:33:10 by boxpuppy ❂ (#41549) |

I took a break and thought. Here's what I have to say: *deep breathe* I mean, yeah, the admins and mods may not be the nicest or fairest people at times. They may add a feature that we get upset over, or make a decision without us. But at the end of the day, we come to forgive them. Why? They are the people who make this game possible. Without them, we wouldn't have lioden. There are worse pet sim sites. Some treat their players horribly. Some do whatever they want to their game. Others hack their players. Lioden is amazing. It has great staff, amazing features, and more. We all make mistakes. We all are human. We will eventually just forget about this and it will float into our forgotten problems. Many, many people were upset with 20 marks being added. People were mad that they released it without our opinion. It is weeks later and everyone has forgotten about it. The Lioden staff can make whatever decisions they want, even if they hurt us, there is no way to stop them. Would you rather have a few decisions that hurt us, or a horrible run down petsim. Maybe not even one at all. Sometimes they are forced to do money grabs in order to keep the site running. Other sites are just completely money grabs, every feature is expensive, and then it turns out horrible. In conclusion, the Lioden staff does an amazing job with this site. They may do something we don't like, but at the end of the day we forgive and then forget. ![]() Edited on 12/08/17 @ 12:39:27 by Laila 💰 (Gryffindor) (#96222) |
