Buffalo Scrotum in this event was already the single most expensive event item I could find listed on the Wiki when it cost 500. Now it is leagues ahead of the rest, and it is *not* a correspondingly easy currency.

Rather than jack up the price they should come up with another item in the Peddler shop that people actually want. Maybe an item to increase the likelihood of getting a special base a little, or one to guarantee a base in the same color group/shade as the parent that eats it. With all the fires going this month we could call the new item "Baked Potato".

I still think that the new, special maned studs with NCL event marks, who can breed 1% lionesses in one try, would be another very good incentive for DB. Pariah is either going to spread very well because of players giving up on reaching 700DB for balls, or it won't spread at all because of players saving up.

I have to agree with this, I dont get to play often. I am standing at 300 dry bones on both accounts and its already the middle of the month. I might get lucky to even get 1 scrotum, if any. When i saw it at 700 I was shocked. I felt as though it totally favored players who could be logged in all day long.

Ive been seeing players with 3 and 4 scrotums listed for 20gb each.

How does this make people who cant play 24/7 want to continue playing or give support to the site?

Menkaura, that's where I am. I'm a busy adult with a job and hobbies other than LD. I mean, this event already feels like a middle finger to casual players with the ratio of nerfed hunts, and then the team add in this. I don't have time to sit down with multiple energy bars and grind through explore. I'm with Finn back on page 20, about it just being a cash grab. If the site is that desperate for funds, you'd think there would be a better way of handling it, like a Patreon.

Well, the increase has put me off a lot of my projects. I get a bonus in August of close to $200, that was going to go on GB to be able to afford the buffalo scrotums - the only worthwhile damn thing in this event. This is a very low blow, admin-team - money grabbing when these are the items we need the most. I've noticed none of the admins have been particularly helpful recently, so I don't think they'll change this to appease us, their playerbase.

There is a GB deficit, granted - selling anything these days is difficult unless its art, I'm so frustrated by this, and I hope it gets changed. I've read a few pages back and I do have to agree with many of the things said - particularly Finnegan's comments.

Keeping the prices high favors a select few in the game. When you see scrotums for 20gb each and players listing up to 4 at a time, I have to ask, who is in favor of keeping it at 700 bones?

This suggestion is almost at 500 supports already and its only been twenty four hours. You would have thought that by now the admins would have realised the change was a bad one and let the players know they are either changing the price back or working on a way to allow us to get more Dry Bones to afford it but we've still heard nothing. :( Its such a shame. This site was amazing when I joined and for a year or so things seem to be getting harder and harder to do. I'm starting to miss when customised lions were the most amazing thing out there and there were no special bases, no breed only markings and no mutations.

That's a real slap in the face for my projects. I consider myself as an active player and thought I had enough for 2 balls but well... Nevermind. I've never experienced such a rough time on Lioden, lost all my motivation and decided to stop buying GB. The only thing I'm still after is art and I pay $ / € to support artist directly. I feel this game is becoming more and more money-grabbing and I'm not enjoying it anymore.
