Adderkit rolled his eyes at the she-cat as she sat, almost dramatically in the den. His muzzle had parted to speak when the small squeak from Wolfkit told him their denmate actually was listening. Moonkit however was first to react.
He twitched an ear at the comment about his parentage.
"Huh. That's not what it sounded like. Maybe you're brains not right. " He padded closer to peer at the young kit, eyes returned to a glare, giving the new kit a once over. He didn't hear Moonkit's comment on himself, or perhaps the tom would have argued that he didn't just act tough, but was tough. He had wandered the territory once, without getting caught. If that wasn't tough he didn't know what was. As Moonkit bowed her head, he shook his own.
"You both are so..." The right word appeared to be a struggle to find for his small vocabulary.
"Mousey." It was close enough. Adderkit needed adventure, stimulation, not to be sitting around shy or too young to even properly walk without tripping. The tom flopped onto his belly, looking annoyed.
"I can't wait to become an apprentice." He groaned.

"Hey. Don't let him bother you." Rippleheart soothed. "You are much better than him and should not let him change who you are on the inside." The words flowed out of his mouth as though he had been thinking about them for moons. "You are an amazing cat and I could not ask for a better friend." Rippleheart smiled, hoping to lift the she-cats mood.

Rosepetal looked at the tom longingly.
She looked back where Lionpaw was.
"Sunblaze, their father, the rogue, made me give him to him. Otherwise he'd kill the rest" She said shakily. "I couldn't let it happen" She put her head back down.
"Only I know about this, you're the first cat I've told." She added quietly.
Rosepetal sighed looking at the sky, What would her warrior ancestors say when her time came?

VVOLFKIT - kitten OF riverclan - 1-2 moons old - Season: Almost Leaf-Bare - Location: Nursery - Mentions: Moonkit, Adderkit

VVolfkit stared up as two giant cats padded into the den. One being his mother, the second a cocky ginger that was traveling with her. "Hi. I am VVolfkit. You are a tall cat, Lionpaw." He m'rrowed softly while looking the tom up and town. Personally, he did not like how overly confident the male seemed. Charcoal banner wrapped around his paws as a small cranium tipped to look at Adderkit. "Of course we're mousey. If-um, if that means little. I'm barely 2 moons old. You're old, and..maybe you can ask to be an appie." VVolf cocked his head at the large kitten and a tiny laugh came from his petite chest. His innocent optics blinked at Adderkit.

"VVhy don't you go to an appie and just ask them to train? I'd like for you to do that for me if we were friends." His voice mused softly as he flopped backwards, mimicing the older masculine.

MoonKit

MoonKit grinned Devilishly at AdderKit. "Excitement huh?" she said, but in a louder voice. In a flash, she had dissapeared. In another second, she had AdderKit pinned down in his back, unable to move. MoonKit chuckled, hopping off him, the sitting beside WolfKit and putting on that shy mask again like nothing had happened. Butthere was a glint in her eye.

Redpelt-42 moons-RiverClan Deputy- Location: Camp (Nursery)-Mentions: Lionpaw, Wolfkit, Adderkit, Moonkit, Softkit (so many kits!)

Redpelt returned to camp with an trout on his jaws, he quickly padded over to the fresh kill pile and set it down, his amber eyes wandered to the nursery, he smiled and padded over there, oh how much he loved his kits, and he couldn't wait until they were apprentices and he would hopefully train one of them, once he got there he noticed a familiar golden furred cat 'L-Lionpaw?' he thought, it has been about a moon and some more since he last saw the apprentice, he looked over to the other kits talking to Wolfkit 'I think that their names are Moonkit and Adderkit' thought the tom once more, he looked at both of his kits with love, and then at Lionpaw, he had been silently worried about him since he left.

Rosepetal sighed and padded to her kits.
She curled around them, ready to keep watch for them.
Her beautiful kits..
She loved them as well as her first litter.
She wouldn't live with herself if any of them got hurt.

Adderkit looked at Wolfkit from the ground, and couldn't help but grin at the kit's flop. He had to admit for a younger kit he was at least more interactive than previous den-mates. "Maybe when I become an apprentice, I can give you some training advice." He mewed confidently, before Moonkit suddenly pounced on him. Instinctually his small claws extended, tangling in the she cats fur and snagging as she pulled away. He rolled back onto his paws, looking perplexed.
"You're like a feather." He chuckled, shaking the dust from his coat. Baring his teeth, which flashed his peculiar canines, he was about to lunge after the she-cat but paused as he finally paid attention to the new cats in the den. Perhaps fighting in front of the warriors was a bad idea. His gaze fell onto the golden furred apprentice, green eyes narrowing slightly.
He only had a faint memory of Lionpaw, being a young kit himself when the cat was apprenticed. He stared up into the icy blue gaze, feeling peculiar. That cat had been bold. He hadn't scented the tom in the camp for a while, and was curious where he had been. Perhaps a super special mission.

Rippleheart watched Rosepetal go. Something inside of him had snapped when he had talked to the she cat. He was not sure why, but Rosepetal was different from the other she cats in the clan. He felt as though he needed to make her feel better about herself, and he also felt a sort of protectiveness for the ginger coated cat. Something else stirred inside his empty heart, but the feeling was to confusing for Rippleheart to understand. Was it just protectiveness? Was it pity? Or was it a love in his heart that had been dormant since his sister died? He realized that he was staring again, and he went back to his sunny spot, feeling the empty cold fill him again.

Rosepetal kept her gaze away from Lionpaw, not wishing to provoke him.
She felt terrible to this day, for not being with him enough.
She was a terrible mother to her kits!
They deserved better than her.
She sighed. She couldn't do much else for them.
As much as she tried.
She curled around her kits.
Ashkit and Thornkit were big, like Lionpaw was when he was a kit.
Thornkit had her Frosted eyes and Ashkit had beautiful Amber eyes.
Lilykit had dark rich green eyes and her brown and dark brown calico pelt.
With her white under belly.
Ashkit was grey, with darker grey patches all over him.
Thornkit was just a golden color, the color of the sun at its brightest.

VVolfkit smiled at Lionpaw as his little head was pawed at gently. He took it as a sentimental gesture, small alabaster fangs shown in a hearty laugh. "You're nice. I like you." The ebony tom tilted his head up at Lionpaw, before his attention was quickly diverted to Adderkit and Moonkit. They were suddenly tussling with Moonkit clinging onto the bigger cat's fur. The ginger kitten threw her off quickly, fae retreated towards VVolf's own side.

"I'm glad. You're a nice fighter, I guess." His facial features melted into a grin with cocky tinges. "I'm obviously 100% better. I can even jump really high!" He purred to himself while licking down his sister's fur. Optics of speckled purpose bore up into Adderkit. "You still didn't tell me your name, you know. I can't keep calling you man in my head." VVolf spoke playfully.

Darkness began to creep at the edges of his vision as Rippleheart began to feel the tug of sleep. He knew that he could not sleep though. The nightmare was waiting there for him, he just knew it. He decided that he should go and get some herbs for sleep. Maybe that would sooth the visions burning at the edges of his vision. So much had happened to him that day and he was ready for a long nap. He padded into the medicine den and left being treated with some thyme and poppy seed. The taste still lingered on his tongue but drowsiness soon came over him. He settled in his nest in the warriors den and began to sleep. Peaceful images flitted in his dreams as he envisioned himself as a kit, playing with his sisters while his mother watched with love in her eyes.

She listened for something, anything, as if she were guarding camp.
She stayed awake to warn any cat of intruders or worse, Badgers.
