Earthquake was silent, feeling quite uneasy among the big circle of cats. Keeping Flamestorm and Sunstar in his line of sight, he sat under the leader's position, looking quite tense.
He didn't have anything against gatherings but seeing so many cats in one place... He shifted and stared at the moon, white foaming clouds surrounding it. Turning his head in confusion, he then shook it off, focusing on the night.

Swiftpaw turned his posture towards Ravenpaw with a curious glint in his eyes. "I have always wanted to meet a rabbit-eater!" The white tom blurted. It took a moment for the apprentice to realize that what he had intended to keep as a private though was now shared with anyone who happened to be listening. Why couldn't I think of something nice and not an insult for once?! Swiftpaw felt hot under his fur and with ever growing panic he tried to still patch the situation. "I- I mean... nice to meet you too, my name is Swiftpaw and I'm from Thunderclan!" He gave an awkward smile, that reminded more of a forced smirk, and turned his gaze a little bit left from Ravenpaws face so he didn't have to look into his eyes. The white cat's tail was twitching from all the embarrassment and nervousness that kept building inside him. Why am I acting like this? This isn't like me...

She looked nervously at Tidefur, then at Dewpaw. She sighed giving a small smile to light up her face. Frecklepaw’s dull eyes lit up a little with seeing Dewpaw, however she looked down and mewed, “Can I go hang out with Dewpaw, Tidefur.” She said brushing her tail near Dewpaw. I kinda like this gathering...I think... Her big ears flicked, scared to hear the tom say no, she gave a slight blush to Dewpaw. Hoping he would return it. I hope Tidefur says yes!

Sunstar looks down, seeing the bite in his leg. 'When did that get there?' He continues itching it, getting angry that he let that mouse dominate him. With more cats entering the Gathering, he wasn't sure if he could handle all of the commotion and business. He sees Earthquake take position below him, and tries to get his attention.
"Earthquake... I need to talk to you." He whispers, trying not to get anyone else's attention. All he knew was that his insides were starting to burn, and he felt dizzy.

"Can she Tidefur? I promise I'll look out for her!" The apprentice asks, playfully batting his eyes at the older tom. He couldn't wait to introduce her to his sister and clanmates, he was sure Swallowpaw would like to meet her at least! Afterall his sister said she was a ball of fur and fun. tidefur smooths the fur of his apprentice down quickly and gruffly mews "fine but I expect you to be back here by the time the gathering starts" glancing up at the leaders wondering what news they will share, he notices Sunstar whispering to the earthquake. for a moment he stares at them wondering if it is simple words or plans, after deciding he will just have to find out later he turns back to the bustling crowd searching through it for a cat he might know.

Padding into the clearing, the long furred calico watched as cats from different clans conversed with each other, many seeming to be at peace and not arguing. Weaving her way through the chatting cats, she moved towards the trees where the leaders all gathered to announce the news from each of their clans. As she got there, she crawled up to her usual spot and noticed that Sunstar was there as well. She was about to give him a greeting nod when she noticed that he and his deputy, Earthquake, were busy talking and decided to leave them be in the meantime.

Apon hearing his name called, he turned towards Sunstar, immediately recognizing the tom's voice. He dipped his head, and padded to him, weaving between the circle of cats and accidentally stepping on a Windclan cat's tail. He was quite taller than most and sort of stuck out in the sea of murmuring cats.
He sided next to Sunstar, a look of concern on his face. Sunstar looked...unwell, it punched Earthquake in the gut like a heavy meal on a cold day, he smelled odd and it made Earthquake worry... "Are you well Sunstar? What do you need?" he whispered in a hushed and urgent mew.

Gingersnap prickled with excitement, this being her first gathering, she had never seen so many cats! She wouldn't converse about anything in particularly, but was happy to be there all the same. Now if she could just find a seat- "OW!" she yowled, and turned to hiss angrily, someone had stepped on her precious tail. Her hard stare was immediately softened as she gazed at a large brown tom, who was...quite handsome. She was going to speak to him but it looked as if he had more importantly things to do "I'll give him something to do." she purrs under her breath, watching him pad away.
