Jacqueline "Jackie" Davenport Jackie looked at the woman in amazement before smiling at her. This girl comes from the complete opposite side of the world too me. Charlie was late. Very late. It wasn't that he overslept - he never overslept. No, Louie had decided to entertain himself by tearing the stuffing out of his couch while Charlie was getting ready for work. He had no idea how the capuchin had done so much damage in such little time, but he made a mental note to stop by the pet store on the way home from work and pick up some more toys to hopefully distract the monkey from his new couch. His new couch, which was currently scattered all around his living room. He really should have invested in leather. It took him over an hour just to clean up after Louie, and then of course the energetic capuchin decided to make Charlie chase him around the house so that he could harness him to take him to work. There was no way he was letting that monkey out of his sight, especially not loose in his house. You'd think he'd have learned his lesson after the first ruined couch, but seven couches later and he was only now swearing to keep an eye on the trouble maker. The first thing Charlie noticed when he finally arrived at the shelter was that Angel wasn't at her desk and the rest of the lobby was empty. "Knock knock! Anybody home?" he called out in greeting, knowing everyone was probably just in the back rooms or the lounge. Louie made a noise of greeting from his perch atop Charlie's shoulder as well, the sound somewhere between a chirp and a bark. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Skylar looks up from Delilah and Luna to look at Charlie "Oh good, atleast i'm not the last one to arrive" she sighs, and Delihlah jumps up, running towards Charlie and sitting down with her tail wagging so hard that Skylar was convinced it would fall of if she wagged any harder "Anyway, good morning" Skylar greets, picking Luna up in her arms and walking towards Charlie "Anything new happen at home?" she takes a sidewards glance at Louie, wondering how anyone could manage with such a small animal (Sorry, i'm a little rusty with roleplay  ) 0 players like this post! After several minutes of examining the small creature, she looked back up to meet Jackie's eyes. "He's very healthy. You should be proud. He's come such a long way." She paused, running her finger along his shell and cirling it around a small hump. "Although, he still has a tad bit of pyramiding on his shell.." She hesitated, thinking.
