Dawnclan Territory:
Dawnclan's territory is lightly forested, with wider, slow rivers connecting to the two small central lakes. The terrain is moss covered and gently hilly. A sandy area on the edge of a shallow river is their training area, and to the south is the two-leg gathering place where small nests nestle between thin cut trees on the edge of a small lake, which merges into the two-leg town the more south one goes.
The camp is nestled in a dip in the land, with a series of rocks that make shelters for the Leader and Medicine cat dens, as well as the nursery. The rest of the nests are in old burrows, the edge of the camp sheltered with prickly brambles. It is spacious and open, with plenty of places to relax on moss covered stones or tussle in soft grass.
the territory is marked to the east and north by a large, uncrossable river. To the south by the two-leg camp ground, and to the east by their boundary with Duskclan, which is marked most notably by a large spread of rocks along a thin river that eventually turns into Duskclan terrain. It is a spot of much conflict.

Duskclan Territory:
Duskclan's territory lies to the east side of the territories, in thicker forest where mist lingers longer in the mornings, and navigation requires agility and precision. The rivers here are often thinner, but more wild with faster waters in many of the places. Their training area is a clear patch of forest where the ground is soft and a fallen log and tree stumps provide a boundary.
Their camp is nestled up, and along the side of a hill that inclines sharply, with pathways between and going up its walls. The dens nestle close together, with the Leaders den above inside a fallen tree root system, the medicine cat below in the same system. The dens are in a mixture of burrows and makeshift nests in the brush, some nests in the jagged hill walls. Outside the nests they have a spacious area for sharing tongues and meetings, protected by thick foliage and the numerous rocks.
Their territory is marked by a sheer cliff drop to the east, an uncross able river to the north, the two-legs to the south, and their border with Dawnclan.
2000px-Decorative_text_divider.svg.png

 CURRENT EVENTS
Two-legs are in the territory!
Currently due to the nice weather, two-legs have been more prevalent than normal, walking along the paths that trace between both clans.
Though they often leave cats alone, the threat of dogs and scared prey is high.

NEWS

CLUES
Two-legs have taken a Duskclan cat.
Two-leg traps have been found in both clans.
A Dawnclan cat was killed by an unknown source.
A strange new scent has been found all over the territory, its source leading apparently south.
Ravenblaze has seen a Starclan sign in the clouds.
~~
During a storm, Duskclan cats found three bodies, all deceased. Two Dawnclan, one Duskclan.
Dawnclan on the same patrol found a few pawprints, hard to identify but heading what looks like south.
Mothpaw, Ravenblaze, and Hornetpaw have seen signs in the clouds, cats fighting against an unknown darkness.
~~
Two strangers have been found in the territory, one taken by the two-legs another who seems to be nesting near the Cavern on Dawnclan territory.

The traps are discovered to not be for the cats.

Storm that Hides the Stars | Serval NPC | ??? | Mollie | DuskClan Territory | Redeye ; Wolfstorm ; Vulturepaw ; Sootwhisker ; Springpaw ; Blackstar ; Frost

Storm's body curled against Redeye slightly when Wolfstorm approached, but she was careful not to bump him. Her eyes were guarded as she studied the large warrior. Wolfstorm. Her ear flicked, and her voice rumbled out, "Name is Storm. Storm that Hides the Stars." Her language was still thickly accented, but Wolfstorm's gentle tone was helping to calm her even just a bit, and that made her bit by bit a tad more understandable. When Redeye slumped against her, she made a small sound, obviously recognizable to the younger cats to be something that a mother cat would have made when startled and worried about a younger cat. It was half a trill, half a chirp. Her stubby tail lashed as she watched Redeye's gaze anxiously as he stared around without rhyme or reason. Her ears flattened when Vulturepaw spoke, but quickly managed to piece together that the small cat speaking must have been one of the two Redeye had asked about.

It was sudden that Frost, Blackstar, and Springpaw came into the scene, and Storm's hair raised, sensing confrontation in the air. She pressed closer to Redeye, rising up from allowing him to lean on her and hunching into a defensive stance. Or... as much of one she could do on three legs. She still looked plenty intimidating, for the withered back leg. She could hear the hostility in Sootwhisker's voice, but was too focused on the scarred up white mollie and her one eyed companion. Her teeth bared when Frost approached, but based on her words she was able to figure something out.

"You... medicine cat? Help Red Eyes? Wolf-cat say medicine cat coming, help Red Eyes. Storm brought Red Eyes home. Red Eyes sick, warm. Warmer than should be. Weak. Red Eyes no walk, sick."

She was still curved defensively around the small albino tom, but her suspicion had waned slightly with the thought that this cat may be the 'medicine cat' Redeye had so badly wanted.

Weaselflight | DuskClan Warrior | 21 Moons | Tom | Bramble Dip | Dustpelt ; Harepaw

Weaselflight's lips curled weakly upwards at Dustpelt's jab, and he closed his eyes a moment, sighing in exhaustion. His fur fluffed up with surprise when Harepaw came skidding into the clearing alongside them, and gritted his teeth to prevent himself from yelping. He was trying rather desperately to be less obvious about his anxiety. He turned to Dustpelt when them tom posed the plan, and nodded. He approached the bushes, and began scanning, periodically stretching his neck out and grabbing tendrils loosely, tugging to see if they would come loose. Finally he found one that quickly slid from the branches, obviously old and dying but still tangled with pointed thorns and effective enough to patch the nursery with. He approached a spot away from the bushes, near the top of the little dip they were in, and dropped it there.

"L-Let's leave them up here," he called, "It'll keep them from getting lost in the rest of the bushes."

He quickly slipped back down into the little dip, and resumed searching for the loose brambles. It took him back to his apprentice days, work like this, but he did not mind it much. It was good, mindless work. He found another branch, and carefully unwound it from the others with little tugs and motions with his paws. As soon as it was free, he dropped it in the pile, and returned to the work.

He discovered that near the bases of the bramble tangles, there were more loose tendrils. "Check around the bottoms of the bushes first," he offered to the other two cats in a wobbly voice, before turning back to his work.
Better safe than sorry

Gingerstar | DawnClan Leader | 36 Moons | Mollie | Camp | Hornetpaw ; Lightsong ; Ravenblaze ; Turtlepaw

Gingerstar's ear twitched as Hornetpaw approached, and she inclined her head ever so slightly by way of greeting. Her tail flicked quietly as the young medicine cat explained his plight, and she blinked thoughtfully, tilting her head slightly and looking away. "I would rather there be more than one competent warrior," she mused mildly, excluding Ravenblaze from the equation. He may have been trained in it vaguely but she had not had time to order him assessed and thus did not trust him to be able to defend their only working medicine cat in case of an emergency.

She was silent for several moments, and then rose onto her paws and stretched. "I'll escort you as well," she said decisively, the fur raising along her spine as she straightened again. She nodded at him, mildly grateful for the excuse to get out of camp. Though she did not enjoy the company of other cats, this would be a good reason to learn what she needed about Hornetpaw. He needed to go receive his medicine cat name, she presumed, that would be something they would discuss.

She gestured towards the exit to camp. "You lead the way," she offered, flicking her ear, "you may have to remind me of how to collect most of the herbs but I shall help how I can." She needed to get out, there was nervous energy that thrummed in her paws, even if it was just a walk it was better than nothing.
If you ask too many questions, or seek too much approval, nothing ever gets done

Mangledtooth | Duskclan Warrior | Tom | 47 moons | Near Training Valley | [Directly - ] | | [Indirectly - ] |

The dark grey tom shifted his weight, his yellow-green eyes trained on a plump squirrel nibbling on a seed. Gingerly taking a step forward, Mangledtooth carefully avoided fallen leaves and sticks that would give away his position. He had been out on a little stroll for a bit, and felt as though it would be best to come back with prey, whatever little he may catch.
He wasn't the most excellent of hunters, due to his burly structure, but with his moons of training he did just fine. With practiced precision, Mangledtooth stalked as closely as he dared to, before preparing the killing blow. He leaped, pouncing on the squirrel and swiftly killed it.
He picked up the squirrel, and began to make his way back towards camp. It would probably be best to catch some more, though he knew the clan would be alright for today due to the bountiful prey Greenleaf always provided.

⇺ [ Hornetpaw ] ⇻
18 Moons • Male • DawnClan • Medicine Cat Apprentice
Location: DawnClan Camp • Mentions: Gingerstar, Lightsong, Ravenblaze, Scorchwing, Flamepaw, Foxpaw, Umbraclaw

“I understand,” Hornetpaw acknowledged Gingerstar’s concerns, fretful for a moment she would deny the request considering every other warrior seemingly already had a task. He resisted the urge to remind her his warrior training was still fairly fresh in his mind, not to mention all the sparing he’d done with Clanmates to keep his combat skills sharp since Mousefur’s untimely demise. He was sure she hadn’t forgotten and his bringing it up would change nothing. He was still only one cat and in an ambush, or facing off with this serval creature, he would be in desperate need of back-up.

Gingerstar’s announcement she would be joining him clearly took the tom aback, but he recovered quickly, nodding his agreement. “Wonderful. Let’s be off then.” As he began padding toward the camp entrance, his nerves started to kick in. Was there another reason Gingerstar wished to join his small herb hunting expedition? While he knew there would be times he would have to work with her alone, he couldn’t help the anxiety he could feel welling up inside him. Gingerstar didn’t exactly inspire confidence in other cats, especially not as of late.

His eyes strayed to the gathering patrol, noting with some dismay Ravenblaze appeared more keen on joining them than him and Gingerstar. He had automatically assumed the white tom would want to be with him today despite relinquishing his rank and the realization that wasn’t the case stung deeply. ’You’ll need to get used to that. Ravenblaze is no longer your mentor. He isn’t required to spend time with you anymore,’ he reminded himself, but he couldn’t help the glum expression that momentarily crossed his features.

Pausing beside Lightsong, he watched as Umbraclaw unceremoniously whisked Turtlepaw off for training, Foxpaw trailing behind them, vanquishing Lightsong’s attempts to order the former kittypet along with them. “Seems Ravenblaze is joining the border patrol. Gingerstar has agreed to accompany us however...but perhaps we should all just go with the patrol,” he suggested, glancing sideways at Gingerstar to gauge her reaction. More cats around would certainly help him feel a little more at ease in his leader’s presence.

⇺ [ Turtlepaw ] ⇻
24 Moons • Female • DawnClan • Warrior Apprentice
Location: DawnClan Camp • Mentions:: Umbraclaw, Lightsong, Foxpaw

Umbraclaw’s appearance brought their conversation to an end, and Turtlepaw spared Lightsong a final parting glance before turning to follow the deputy wherever she led. “Seems I’m needed elsewhere. Another time perhaps,” she called in farewell, not all that torn up over being unable to accompany the medicine cat and his bossy guard. Whatever Umbraclaw had in mind for her was bound to be less pleasant, but she couldn’t help feeling excited to receive her first official task as a reinstated member of DawnClan. A rush of familiarity washed over the dark tortoiseshell as they reached the training area, the sandy soil beneath her paws causing her pelt to tingle with anticipation.

Umbraclaw issued an expected command considering their surroundings. She and Foxpaw were to spar. She turned to the ginger apprentice, her eyes bright with enthusiasm as she gave her muscles an experimental stretch. “Let’s do this.” It had been quite a while since Turtlepaw had fought a cat for any reason beyond securing food and territory or teaching one of the neighborhood bullies a lesson, and she welcomed the exercise despite the implications. It didn’t surprise her that Umbraclaw encouraged them to fight dirty, and Turtlepaw suspected her opponent would take advantage of such permissions, but she had no intention of fighting in such an unhonorable manner.

She kept her gaze locked on the smaller she-cat, waiting on her to make the first move. Foxpaw’s hesitation to start things off saw her shoot the apprentice an encouraging glance, certain Umbraclaw would grow impatient if they continued standing around staring at each other for much longer, but still unwilling to leap at her. Turtlepaw suspected the young cat might be rash and impulsive given her personality. She supposed it was time she either confirmed such suspicions or was proven completely off the mark.

⇺ [ Redeye ] ⇻
36 Moons • Male • DuskClan • Warrior
Location: DuskClan Territory • Mentions: Storm, Vulturepaw, Hunting Patrol, Blackstar, Frost

Vulturepaw’s voice shook the injured tom from another episode of slipping consciousness, his head turning toward his apprentice. Flashes of black fur could be glimpsed through his failing vision, his head throbbing as he struggled to focus in on the younger cat’s face, desperately attempting to confirm he was actually there. Redeye couldn’t make a final conclusion, his thoughts muddled and feverish, but ultimately decided it didn’t matter whether or not Vulturepaw was real or yet another hallucination. He was just glad to see him. “Told you I’d come back. I always keep my promises,” he wheezed humorously before a familiar sensation of vertigo caused his eyes to clench shut.

Redeye was never a cat to advertise when he wasn’t feeling well, but he couldn’t help pawing at his ears in frustration as his head slumped back to the ground. Everything was beginning to feel unbearable. Between the pounding in his skull, unquenchable thirst, aching muscles, torn skin, and rising temperature his sense of reality threatened to disappear entirely as his symptoms grew worse. “Want to go home,” he muttered irritably as if his own weakness was a great annoyance to him. “Need medicine cat.”

Frost and Blackstar arrived on the scene nearly the moment he finished speaking, but he barely acknowledged the newcomers, grunting as Storm stood over him, effectively removing the warmth and support he had grown accustomed to over the past few hours. He stared at Frost through blurry eyes, clearly not recognizing her. “Mothpaw?” He questioned, sounding utterly confused. “What's happened to you?”

Owlfeather|Duskclan|Deputy/Queen|36 Moons Old|Siamese She-Cat|Location: Camp - Lake near Training Valley|Mention(s) Directly: OPEN for Mangledtooth|Mention(s) Indirectly: Spiderpaw, Patch, Dustpelt, Weasleflight, {NPCs} Orion & Scorch

Sitting back, the deputy let out a sigh. Looking over her work, Owlfeather nodded her head. The queen had managed to put all of the loose rock in place, with the sticky mud she had found. She'd have to remember that stuff, it was quite convenient. Looking down at herself, Owlfeather chuckled. The deputy looked like a kit that had played in a mud puddle. Both of Owlfeather's forelegs was covered in mud, so was her chest, and her muzzle as well. She could not see the mud on her muzzle, but could feel it start to itch, as the mud dried and hardened. She'd have to wash herself. Letting out a sigh, the siamese she-cat stood up again.
The she-cats eyes swept over Spiderpaw and Patch, there did not seem to be any problems, so she could probably leave for a bit. Turning, Owlfeather pushed her way out of the camp. Taking in a deep breath, the queen looked around. It seemed longer than only a few days, since she had been out of the camp. Owlfether was getting tired of being bound to the camp, her eyes cast down to her swollen stomach. What would it be like, being a mother? The siamese she-cat wondered. Letting out a chuckle, at the thought, Owlfeather started to walk towards the lake. She would only be gone for a bit, Dustpelt and Weasleflight were also close to camp, so there was no reason she could not stretch her legs for a bit.
Reaching the peak of a mound, the deputy spotted the edge of the lake. Bouncing on her paws twice, Owlfeather suddenly sped down the other side of the mound. Her ears flat against her head, the deputy had a smile on her face, as she ran towards the lake. This felt nice, she had always loved being outside on her own and running. Coming to a skidding stop, the she-cat panted. Her swollen belly rising and falling as she tried to catch her breath, Owlfeather looked down. Her front paws where in the clear and cool water, looking down she saw her own reflection looking back up at her. As her reflection swam, a thought crossed the she-cats mind. Scorch, her brother. What was their life like now? Did her brother have a mate already, maybe even kits. What about Orion? Did he ever have the courage to confess to Snowflake, the kittypet he had been in love with ever since they were kits? Owlfeather chuckled, as she remembered her strong and powerful brother blushing, as Snowflake had spoken to him.
Stepping on her reflection, the deputy walked into the lake. Walking deep enough so that her belly fur reached the water's surface, Owlfeather dipped her face into the clear cold. After a few heartbeats, the pregnant she-cat brought her face up again. Her face now dripping with water, Owlfeather shook herself. Water drops few around her, this was nice.

Flamepaw|Dawnclan|Apprentice|13 Moons Old|Ginger She-Cat|Location: Camp|Mention(s) Directly: Hornetpaw, Foxpaw|Mention(s) Indirectly: Scorchwing, Gingerstar, Turtlepaw

The ginger she-cat looked up, as Umbraclaw called to Foxpaw. The apprentice scowled, it seemed she never had a chance to spend time with her sister now a days. Flamepaw waived her tail, as her littermate trailed after her mentor. Flamepaw's blue eyes moved to the other cat joining her sister and the Dawnclan deputy, Turtlepaw. She wondered, how someone could leave the clan and actually become a kittypet. In a dark part in her mind, Flamepaw cheered for Foxpaw to show that kittypet the ropes again. Turtlepaw might be older than either of them, but she was confident in her sisters abilities.
Flamepaw's ear twitched, as she looked over to see Hornetpaw speaking with Gingerstar. The fluffy ginger she-cat pawed at the ground, she wanted to finely get out of camp and stretch her legs. Hearing the medicine cat apprentice suddenly turn to them, Flamepaw straightened up. So Gingerstar would come with them, that was great. Maybe Flamepaw could somehow impress the leader, maybe she could become a warrior/messenger earlier. The she-cats claws extended into the dirt, as these thoughts started to race around in her head. She wanted to finely become a warrior/messenger already. "Well, I don't mind either way, it's your decision", Flamepaw said, "You know what herbs the clan needs and where they grow." The apprentice shuffled her paws and angled her body towards the entrance of the camp, the apprentice almost looked like she was preparing for a race. "Oh ya, while I was out yesterday... em... eh... hunting", Flamepaw started, glancing at Gingerstar as she hesitated. "I saw some comfrey growing on that big island, I remembered it from the last time I was in the medicine cat den. So maybe we could go there", the fluffy ginger apprentice suggested, shrugging her shoulders.

Blackstar|Leader of Duskclan|One eyed Black Tom|Location: Clan territory|Mentions: Storm, patrol
Frost |Old Med-cat,Duskclan|white and gray she-cat|Location: Clan teritory|Mentions: Storm, Redeye

At Storms hostility, Frost paused, but her icy eyes did not waver, even if the slight sway in her tail hinted at her hesitation. She shook her head at the creature, looking kinder than she normally did when glaring about the camp.
"He needs the clan, I cannot heal him here." she said calmly, then took another step forward. Her ears twitched as the white tom mistook her for the medicine-cat apprentice, but she didn't say argue it, she knew better.
"I can lend him my shoulder." she mewed, her tail swinging to tap her own side, then twitching her whiskers towards Redeye, still relying on body language to convey her message.
While she did so, Blackstar had stood quietly, but as the situation continued to remain at a stalemate, his ears flattened and he stepped forward, and although it was clear he was not fond of the words he was about to speak, he had to remain firm, for his clan.
"You have to go. We appreciate you bringing him back, but this is our territory. You've caused enough trouble here." He growled, and while it wasn't a threat exactly, it was clear by his posture that he was not going to let Storm continue to stand between them and their clanmate.
His golden eye flickered towards the other cats, a clear indication that despite their pacificsm, if they had to fight, they would. He did not know if driving the cat out was the best plan, but right now all signs lead to her being the cause of their strife and he could not let that continue. He took another step forward, feigning the confidence he did not feel, certain that she at least, would not kill Redeye, not if she had brought the tom this far back.

Foxpaw|Apprentice of Dawnclan|Small Ginger Tabby She-cat|Location: Training Beach|Mentions: Turtlepaw, Umbraclaw

Foxpaw twitched her tail, seemingly satisfied with something for a split second, before she launched forward like an adder. Yet, despite her sudden burst of speed, it seemed she almost telegraphed her move, her eyes looking to where she was going to strike a moment before she did so, giving the advantage to Turtlepaw. It was hard to tell if it was an accident or intentional, especially as it was their first true interaction. Foxpaw missed her first few strikes, glancing at Turtlepaw with an almost, sheepish, if almost friendly expression.
"Sorry, I got a bit excited." she mewed as she backed up for a moment, moving around the older cat to change their angles on one another. Foxpaw avoided looking at Umbraclaw, knowing that this was clearly not her usual fighting style. Still, to the deputy, it could have been seen as playing with ones food so to speak, and that wasn't above Foxpaws usual tactics. She then sprang forward once more, still telegraphing, but this time making contact, trying to see what Turtlepaw could, or would do.

News/Event for: Weaselflight, Harepaw, Dustpelt, [id] Mangletooth
As the wind changes direction, there is a strange scent in the air. For a moment, it doesn't register over the scent of the earth and mud digging up the brambles caused. However after a moment, its clear that the two-leg scent is extremely strong, and while there are none in sight, the sudden scent means that they were here, and recently. Mixed within it, is dog scent.
The scent seems different than usual two-leg smell, like how clans tell themselves apart.

News/Event for: Umbraclaw, Turtlepaw, Foxpaw
It wasn't easy to hear the sounds over the tussling, but in a momentary break between the two sparring cats, its clear that there was a noise that every clan cat fears, the yowl of a two-leg. Looking across the lake, through the thin foliage that hides them from the water shows a pair of two-legs walking along the edge of the lake towards the Duskclan border, seemingly following something along the ground. The rustling in the foliage next to them, hints they may have a dog with them.

News/Event for: Owlfeather
Standing at the edge of the small lake, looking down there is the mark of dog prints in the edge of the water, the scent oddly faint yet strong at the same time. The water may have helped mask the scent. Then, there is distant noises that echo across the water. Its difficult to identify, since it seems like its coming from the border.

Umbraclaw|Deputy of Dawnclan|Black Mollie|Location: Camp|Mentions: Foxpaw and Turtlepaw(splash)

Umbraclaw was sitting off to the side to ensure that she would be out of the way, but close enough to easily observe the coming fight. She would notice that Foxpaw seemed to be far more cautious than normal when it came to Turtlepaw as normally she was quick to the attack. It was honestly something the deputy wished the smaller cat would do a little more often as it was often beneficial to take a moment to study your opponent if given the chance.

Eventually however, her apprentice would initiate the first move and Umbraclaw would quickly notice that Foxpaw was not fighting in her usual style. An interesting development, but one that would be kept strictly to herself. Perhaps the apprentice was playing with her food or wanted to give Turtlepaw a false sense of security before surprising her with her true style of fighting, There was also the chance that she was trying to learn about Turtlepaw's own manner of fighting without revealing her own in the process. Yes there there could be quite a few explinations for Foxpaw's behavior, but only time would reveal the correct one.

However it was then that she heard that yowl and her attention was instantly off the fight. Two legs were nearby and a low growl could be heard coming from her. If the two were still fighting after hearing that yowl, she would quickly command it's end before saying. "I need to send out a group to catch up to and alert Gingerstar and Hornetpaw about this. The last thing we need is to have both our leader and our only working Medicine Cat out in the forest with two legs close by."

Now while she would like to go herself, she knew that she couldn't. After all, Dawnclan couldn't have all three of them away from camp when there was a two leg about. Someone had to stay behind to keep a chain of command and...someone had to stay safe in case something happened to the other two. She had great faith in Gingerstar, but one always had to consider all possible outcomes even if they were distasteful and unlikely.

As such, she would quickly start searching the camp for warrior she felt were suited for this task.

Scorchwing | Warrior of DawnClan | Long-Limbed White & Charcoal Female | Location: DawnClan Territory | Mentions: Gingerstar, Flamepaw, Ravenblaze

She wasn’t totally surprised at the final verdict. Gingerstar just loved to see others squirm, didn’t she? But she was glad to see another apprentice join the fray. And she was very happy to see Shadewing become a mentor, but it’s been a long time coming. Scorchwing gave Foxpaw a friendly wave of her tail before she left. She turned her attention to Flamepaw and shrugged, “Others will join us. Cats are itching for something to do just as much as you.”
And, sure enough, Ravenblaze offered himself for the patrol. She let out a happy purr at his own and offered him a closed-eyed smile. “Of course you’re welcome to join. The more the merrier I always say!” She found the tom’s situation to be quite curious. And, at the same time, felt terribly bad for Hornetpaw. He probably felt lost. And, Stars above, she wouldn’t blame him. “We will wait for more to show before getting this patrol going, yeah?” She offered, not minding anyone else’s opinion on the matter, despite the obvious need to wait. Anyone could be able to tell the she-cat was impatient. She had napped over the past couple of days, but her lack of food had raised her irritability. Still, she offered any cat that looked her way a pleading smile and a friendly flick of her ears.

Harepaw | Apprentice of DuskClan | Small, Hickory, White & Cream Female | Location: DuskClan Territory | Mentions: Dustpelt, Weaselflight,

Harepaw snorts and flicks her tail, Weaselflight’s anxiety going unnoticed by her, for now. “Of course you are. Did you cheat?” She asked, smirking at her mentor. She seemed to have gotten her readiness to joke, and didn’t freeze up at the shaking of bushes and the rustling of leaves. She was quite proud of herself. She picked her way closer to the two warriors on aching paws, her nose wrinkling at the thought of sparring with such achy legs. ”Sure you could keep up, old man?” She purred and dove towards her objective and began to collect dutifully, trying to keep her entire focus on the task at paw.

She followed Weaselflight’s suggestions quickly and with friendly gestures, gaining an understanding of his current situation. After all, she had been similar, in a sense. A bit into their work, though, Harepaw’s nose began to twitch. A familiar smell, it seemed, but not one of kinship. Alarms went off in her mind as the smell got stronger. Her mouth dropped open and she stopped her chore. Why hadn’t she noticed before? Calling for Dustpelt, she turned in his direction and pressed herself towards the ground and stretched out her body like a snake would. While she was still inexperienced, she was able to gain an inkling of the strangeness to it. Sure, the nasty smell of canine was mingled with the two-legs, but something was strange about it. She glanced towards Weaselflight out of concern, not wanting to worsen his situation. Her eyes darted back to Dustpelt, hoping for some direction.

| Wolfstorm | 38 Moons | Female | Duskclan Warrior |
Location: Duskclan territory
Mentions: Cats at the Storm event

"This medicine cat." Wolfstorm looked at Frost, nodding for her to approach. "She good. She help." She looked over at Blackstar, nearly wincing at his tone and speech. The serval wouldn't understand that for starclan's sake! She turned back to the serval. "Thank you, you help much. Now must leave. Redeye go with us, Storm go home." She raised her tail to warn Blackstar to be careful. The strange cat was a ticking timebomb. She edged closer. "We take Redeye now. He safe now. Safe with family." She looked around at the cats around her as she said family.

| Shadewing | 20 Moons | Male | Dawnclan Warrior |
Location: Camp
Mentions: Turtlesplashpaw, Willowpaw

With one last sympathetic glance at Turtlepaw, Shadewing led Willowpaw out of camp. "The most important part of being a warrior is knowing your home, I'm going to take you to the border so you can get an idea of the scents, though it's painfully obvious where it is by the smell. You'll be able to mark the border for the first time. I'll also show you the cavern from afar, but we won't go too close to it. There's been trouble there lately, and I think it's best we avoid it for now. Once I've shown you around, we'll go down to the training beach for a while and we can practice some swimming and maybe even some fishing if you're not too tired." He laid out the plan, both for his sake and his apprentice's sake, then they were off, bounding headlong through the forest. Shadewing was a bit surprised to see Willowpaw keeping good pace with him. His apprentice was driven, he'd give him that without a doubt.

Owlfeather|Duskclan|Queen/Deputy|36 Moons Old|Siamese She-Cat|Location: Territory - Near border|Mention(s) Directly: Strange noise|Mention(s) Indirectly: Unborn kits

Owlfeather let out a content sigh, her head floated on the surface of the clear lake water. The siamese she-cat's paws, were hovering just a claw length over the lake beds surface. Lightly pawing at the water, the she-cat drifted around the lake. This was nice, maybe she could come by here more often. Closing her blue eyes, Owlfeather dived under the surface and appeared again only a few heartbeats later. Shaking her head, the pregnant she-cat looked to the lakes edge. She should get out, the siamese she-cat had stayed out for too long already.
Starting to make her way to the lakes edge, Owlfeather was already starting to think of any more things she could do. Maybe she'd take the opportunity and hunt on the way back to camp. Reaching the shore line, Owlfeather lifter her waterlogged body out of the lake, she was struggling a bit as both, her wet fur and her swollen belly dragged her down. Finely making it to dry land, the siames she-cat shook out her fur, spraying water from her body. Hopefully her fur would be dry, by the time she reached the camp. Lashing her long tail back and forth, the she-cat threw the last water droplets from it as well. She should head back, looking around the deputy searched for any prey in the area. Owlfeather did not have to wait long, as her blue eyes noticed the small scurrying of a mouse in a bush nearby. Easy enough, even in her current position this would be easy prey.
Falling into a hunter's crouch, the deputy moved down wind and started to creep up on the mouse. Her stomach soon touched the ground, disturbing some leaves. This small disturbance alerted the mouse, making it scurry off. "Fox-dung!", Owlfeather cursed under her breath. Looking back at her stomach, she scowled. It was not even that much bigger yet, still she'd have to get used to it, since with time it would only grow larger. How many kits would she have? the she-cat wondered. Shaking her head, the siamese cat looked down at her paws. Her right forepaw was dirty and she'd just managed to clean it too, turning back to the water Owlfeather walked to the lakes edge.
Before she reached the water though, Owlfeather stopped in her tracks. There, just a few paces away from her, she noticed tracks. Walking over, curiously, the she-cat studied them. Dog tracks, her tail fur stood on end, the scent was quite stale though. It had been a while since the fleabag came through here. Still this was not a good sing, not this close to camp. The deputy had to admit, she looked forward to leafbare, then the two-legs and their dogs would not be skulking around their territory anymore. A sudden harsh noise reached her ears, making Owlfeather flinch. Her claws digging into the dirt, the deputy looking in the direction the sound had come from. The sound seemed far away, so probably near the border. Her blue eyes narrowed, should she go and investigate or not? Well there were still a few warriors left in camp, along with Spiderpaw and that loner.
Making up her mind, the deputy started to walk along the lakes edge. Her fur standing on end and her tail lashing back and forth, the damp she-cat made her way towards the border. Her claws unsheathed, the deputy was prepared for anything. Maybe Dawnclan had finally decided to encroach on Duskclan's territory, even pregnant, the she-cat was still confidant that she could hold her own in a fight.

Storm that Hides the Stars | Serval NPC | ??? | Mollie | DuskClan Territory | Redeye ; Wolfstorm ; Blackstar ; Frost

Storm jerked her head to the side when Redeye spoke, but did not budge from her position. Her ears dropped flat to her head, but she went silent, her piercing eyes watching Redeye's wobbling frame as he challenged the leader, and was promptly dragged off by that white 'medicine cat'. At the leader's growl, however, her attention whipped back to him, and her body tensed again, fur rising from where it had sunk back down. The second that the little fluffy mollie approached her, getting in her face, things began to drive downhill real fast. Storm reared backwards, her jaws snapping at the air and she raised a paw threateningly, balanced now on two paws, the third, withered limb barely skimming the ground as she leaned back to give her more freedom with her front legs. At this point, Wolfstorm thrust herself between Storm and the others, yowling, catching her attention. Storm dropped back onto her center of gravity, her teeth bared and a growl still swirling in her throat, eyes locked with Wolfstorm's. The mollie's words were taut with stress, and Storm's stubby tail lashed.

"Small cats lie."

Storm's voice was filled with cold conviction, her eyes pained. They flicked for just a moment to her hind leg, healed but forever crippled, before locking back on Wolfstorm.

"Wolf. Does Wolf lie? Red Eyes hurt, Red Eyes sick, does Red Eyes lie?" her gaze twisted towards the small cat who had gotten up in her face before and she growled, deep in her chest. "Small cats lie, does white kit lie?"

There were several moments of tense silence, and she turned her side to them, unwilling to take her eyes off of the rest of the cats. "Wolf, lead. 'River Rocks', lead Storm." Her voice was sullen, tired, but still tense. She did not trust those around her, particularly not the one eyed tom who had started the trouble, or the tiny white cat who had gotten in her face. Their words... she did not trust they would keep to them, but she needed to find Shadow, she needed to find her kits, and she had no plan or capacity to do it herself.

Weaselflight | DuskClan Warrior | 21 Moons | Tom | Bramble Dip | Dustpelt ; Harepaw

Weaselflight eyed his friend at Dustpelt's words. "W-w-we could not take them," he stammered pointedly, his ears still lying flat upon his head and his eyes worried. He gave a wobbly nod to Dustpelt's later suggestion, however, and was about to lead the way back to the camp when a thought occurred to him. "A-aren't we a bit close to camp for t-twolegs and a d-d-dog?" It seemed abnormal for them to be here, he for one had never seen one around here and it was not far from the camp to this spot.

His fur fluffed up at the thought of twolegs raiding the camp. They would probably go for the kittens first, and there was that new one a queen had found. Owlfeather, being pregnant, would be another target. Thinking about them taking the apprentices, like Harepaw or, stars forbid, Vulturepaw, he did not know if he would be able to handle that. "H-h-how close are we to camp right now?" he stammered again, looking over to Dustpelt anxiously. If they were too close, then they needed to try to lure the Twolegs away from camp... not towards it.
Better safe than sorry

Gingerstar | DawnClan Leader | 36 Moons | Mollie | Camp | Hornetpaw ; Lightsong ; Flamepaw

Gingerstar's tail swished mildly, and she nodded at Flamepaw. "If Hornetpaw believes it worth the trip, we may as well check it out. The islands are much less disturbed by prey and predator- there may well be more, healthier, plants there. Perhaps not just comfrey, either," she mused. She lowered her body and arched her back in a downward dog type stretch, extending her toes and her claws, before reverting to her normal stance, looking towards the direction of the island. She began to walk forwards, her plumy tail rising up behind her.

"If we don't start moving now," she called back, "We never will. Best to be in and out of the water long before the sun sets, no need to be soggy for the rest of the day." As the leader finished speaking, she began moving more quickly, knowing that the sun was high in the sky as it was, if it weren't quite sunhigh it would be soon. Her pace was not overly quick, Hornetpaw could easily catch up and take the lead and she would make no protest. She knew the location of the island, but not much else about it and its contents. If it protected herbs, she did not know the way to identify them or where they lay, but Hornetpaw did, and his direction would probably be more beneficial than her own. She just meant to stimulate the patrol into moving, their deadstop had begun to irritate her. They needed to up and move.

When Flamepaw asked her question, however, Gingerstar paused in her motions for a moment. She thought for several long seconds, and then nodded in Lightsong's direction. "Only if he escorts you. He trained under Mousefur, he's plenty fast enough to keep up. You need to stay close though there's no point in needlessly risking necks."
If you ask too many questions, or seek too much approval, nothing ever gets done

Willowpaw | DawnClan Apprentice | 6 Moons | Tom | Territory | Shadewing

Willowpaw nodded at Shadewing silently, and lifted his head after a few moments, approaching the border with false confidence. He was not afraid, per say, but he was healthily cautious. He dropped his head towards the nearest scent mark, and inhaled the scent, his face twisting with distaste. The scent was distinctly different than DawnClan's, and though it was not inherently terrible, knowing it belonged to a rival made it stink a whole lot worse. When he glanced back at his mentor, the tom was grinning, and he flicked an ear, waiting for further instructions.

He watched the demonstration closely, before eagerly jogging along the border a good few steps to find a stump to mark, the smell of DuskClan strong. He glanced at Shadewing, and called, "is this a good spot?" After receiving his confirmation, the young tom marked the area thoroughly, covering the other clan's stench with his own. It created a strange, mixed smell, but DawnClan's more established, single smell won over. He looked over to Shadewing again, a tiny smirk edging onto his face.

"What now?"
Words are a more powerful weapon than any material force could hope to combat

⌘{ Patch }⌘
:: Female :: Rogue :: 35 Moons :: M- Spiderpaw ( Frost, Blackstar, Springpaw) ::
:: Location: Duskclan Camp ::

Patch was quick to follow Spiderpaw, listening with ears perked forward as he gave instructions. What an odd....culture? Idea? The rogue wasn't quite sure what to call the building and maintenance of one's own shelter...quite honestly it reminded her of two-legs, an unsettling thought to be sure but one she wouldn't mention under the circumstances. Even she acknowledged that not many cats, even kitty-pets, would want to be compared to the furless bipeds.

Sighing, (as she wasn't exactly thrilled with the idea of going around looking for holes), the muted calico walked over to her side of the den. t seemed to be made of branches and...mud? The female wasn't quite sure and acknowledged to herself that she was probably quite wrong. Or maybe not...perhaps she could ask Spiderpaw...or perhaps she could actually do her job.

Realizing that she had been staring at the same place for almost a full minute, Patch gritted her teeth her golden gaze moving across the wall in a grid-like pattern as she tried to keep her focus. The sound of running feet outside though had the cat's concentration fracture a bit more though she tried to keep on task.

"Did you hear that? Sounded like a few cats left in a hurry...or came in very quickly...is that normal?"

⇺ [ Hornetpaw ] ⇻
18 Moons • Male • DawnClan • Medicine Cat Apprentice
Location: DawnClan Camp • Mentions: Gingerstar, Lightsong, Ravenblaze, Scorchwing, Flamepaw, Foxpaw, Umbraclaw

Hornetpaw accepted Gingerstar’s answer without complaint, their group was already a decent size he must admit and it was a comfort having Flamepaw and Scorchwing along. Hornetpaw had come to consider Flamepaw a friend and her eagerness brought a warm smile to his maw, though her comments concerning the island resulted in an uneasy shudder. He was unsure whether her claims were true as he could rarely be convinced to set so much as a single toe in the lake let alone swim in it. Ravenblaze was always the one to venture out to any of the islands settled on the lake in search of herbs.

That realization sent a jolt of alarm through the fluffy tom. He would have to do that now. “We could do with more comfrey. There’s a patch growing near the river rocks, but...the island is closer and we’re less likely to encounter a DuskClan patrol or the serval there,” he admitted reluctantly. “I suppose it’s worth checking out.” He glanced toward Ravenblaze, debating whether or not to ask his old mentor for advice. “Can you recall if there’s any comfrey on the island? Is it worth the trip?”

⇺ [ Turtlepaw ] ⇻
24 Moons • Female • DawnClan • Warrior Apprentice
Location: DawnClan Camp • Mentions:: Umbraclaw, Foxpaw

Turtlepaw got the distinct feeling this sparring session was a little too easy as she effortlessly avoided her opponent’s first few attempts to lash out at her. The younger apprentice offered a sheepish apology and she responded that it was quite alright before they began circling one another, changing their positions. Foxpaw sprang forward as quickly as her namesake once more, but this time she left few clues as to where she was targeting and made contact, causing a gruff grunt to escape Turtlepaw’s maw as claws clung to her like a burr.

She immediately flung herself to the ground, crushing the ginger apprentice under her weight until she released her grip before rolling off of her and springing to her paws, waiting for Foxpaw to do the same before launching herself toward her. A noise in the distance distracted her and she missed her mark entirely, landing clumsily a few pawsteps away and giving Foxpaw an advantage as her gaze drifted toward the lake, catching sight of what appeared to be a twoleg and possibly a dog on the opposite bank if the rustling underbrush was any indicator.

Umbraclaw’s abrupt command for the fighting to end drew her attention back to the deputy as she returned to camp, seeking out cats to warn the departing patrols of their untimely visitors. Turtlepaw glanced after her dubiously, uncertain if she and Foxpaw were meant to follow her back to the clearing.

⇺ [ Redeye ] ⇻
36 Moons • Male • DuskClan • Warrior
Location: DuskClan Territory • Mentions: Storm, Vulturepaw, Hunting Patrol, Blackstar, Frost

Redeye could sense the situation was deteriorating. Storm’s harsh, threatening words filled his ears and jerked him back to reality. The albino warrior surged to his paws, the movement proving too quick for a cat in his condition and causing him to stumble forward, face nearly hitting the dirt before he managed to right himself, perhaps with the help of Frost if she had risked coming closer. “Storm, STOP.” His voice was firm, as loud as he could manage, though it clearly put a strain on his vocal cords, his voice gravelly and rough.

“Storm, Redeye will help when better. Redeye help you. Redeye help find Shadow and kits. But Storm no fight. Promise Redeye will help. Redeye never breaks promises. Ignore black cat. Doesn’t understand. Redeye will make him listen. We will help you, but small cats need time.” It was presumptuous to assume Blackstar and the rest of the Clan would be willing to aid a creature they suspected had murdered one of their own, possibly more, but their opinions mattered little to him in this moment. He meant every word he said and he would help her when he could, even if he had to do it alone.

“Storm, please listen. No good come from fighting. Just more pain. More hurt.” His blurry vision settled on Blackstar’s face now, almost challenging. “Back off Blackstar. It’s not safe for her to return to the cavern, can she at least remain in our territory? If I get her to agree not to attack our cats surely it won’t be a bother? We owe her a debt. I’m only alive because she saw fit to care for me for...for however long I’ve been gone.”

⇺ [ Spiderpaw ] ⇻
10 Moons • Male • DuskClan • Warrior Apprentice
Location: DuskClan Camp • Mentions: Patch, Owlfeather, Blackstar, Frost

A small smile tugged at the edges of Spiderpaw’s mouth as he heard Patch sigh, identifying a rather large gap in the brambles sheltering the warrior’s den’s far wall. Taking note to remember the location, he turned back to the pale calico. “I know repairing holes isn’t exactly exhilarating, but maintenance such as this is part of Clan life. Not every day can be an exciting adventure, no matter how much you might wish it so,” he commented wistfully. “In fact, I personally haven’t experienced any excitement since I made the journey here.”

“Sure, Cherrysong died and Redeye went missing. Also, there’s apparently a giant monster cat at the cavern in DawnClan’s territory, but I didn’t get to see any of that happen. Only Cherrysong’s body when she was brought back to camp. It was awful. She was all…” he paused, uncertain he should continue that train of thought. “Cherrysong was always nice to me, even when I first got here. It’s a real shame, what happened to her.”

The sound of pawsteps rushing out of camp and Patch’s following inquiry caused alarm to pulse through the curly-coated tom and he poked his head outside the den. “Only if there’s an emergency,” he muttered uneasily, noting with some trepidation neither his father nor Owlfeather was in camp. He abandoned his task for the time-being, peeking into the medicine cat den to find Frost missing as well. “Something’s happening…”

Blackstar and Frost could handle themselves he was sure, but worry for Owlfeather saw him pace back and forth before turning to Patch. “I want to find Owlfeather. If something’s going on she shouldn’t be out there alone and I don’t think she’s with my dad. You’re coming with me,” he ordered, glaring up at her as if waiting for her to argue. Without giving her a chance to object, he raced out of a camp, separating Owlfeather’s recent scent trail from the other cats, his pawsetps increasing as headed toward the lake.

Blackstar|Leader of Duskclan|One eyed Black Tom|Location: Duskclan territory|Mentions: Storm, Redeye, Sootwhisker, Vulturepaw, Frost
Frost |Old Med-cat,Duskclan|white and gray she-cat|Location: Duskclan territory|Mentions: Redeye, Blackstar

Frost was quick to react, slipping to Redeyes side, her face wrinkled in anticipation of a strike from the larger cat. Still, with the sudden influx of yowls it seemed she may have been lucky, and as Redeye struggled upwards, she lent her shoulder to the taller tom, her own tail lashing. It was clear things were spiraling once more a bit out of paw, but Frost's attention was on the tom at her side. Now that their sides touched, she could feel and scent that there was something wrong with him, and something else, a coldness that passed through her body that had no place being there, amidst the fever.
"Redeye-" She started to speak, but was cut off as Blackstar turned his attention to the warrior. He had taken half a step back at Storms yowl, the power behind the creature voice hinting at the strength underneath,

"Enough!" He growled, his head whipping between the stranger and his clan-mate.
"Frost, take Redeye back to camp. Drag him by the scruff if you need to. Vulturepaw, help them." He spoke rapidly, keeping his eye on Storm as he shifted his weight towards his haunches.
"I do not want a fight here, but she cannot stay. If she must go somewhere, have her go to the River rocks." He spoke, this time looking at Wolfstorm, who had seemed to exhibit the ability to translate to the creature.
"If she won't go, we must defend our territory right now. We can discuss what to do next at camp." He looked at Sootwhisker and Wolfstorm. They were fit, strong warriors and while he hated risking any of his warriors in a fight, it was their responsibility.

Frost seemed to be holding her tongue, but for once did not snap back at the leader, instead she gently nudged Redeye to steer him towards the camp, as firm as she was apologetic in the gesture.

Dustpelt|Warrior of Duskclan|Leggy Calico Tom|Location: Duskclan Territory|Mentions: Weaselflight, Harepaw
"Old?" Dustpelt gave a huff of indignation, though his eyes still sparkled good naturedly. As he worked,
the brambles set off a fit of sneezes from the tom, so he was the last to identify the scent that put his clanmates on edge. However at their glances and tension, he parted his own jaws, trotting back forward curiously. He sniffed around where they had been walking, the mingle of earth and forest tying into the unfamiliar tang of two-legs.
"I mean, I doubt we'd find anything in the brambles." He mused, trying to lighten the situation but feeling a prickle of unease go down his own spine. Something lurked at the back of his mind about the whole situation, but he couldn't quite place it.
"C'mon. What's...whats a bit of two-leg or dog scent. We could take em." He purred, though he edged away, giving a last glance at the bramble pile.
"But, we should have enough to carry this back to camp." He glanced at the pair, hoping without saying so that they'd agree.
(Note, feel free to explore still if you want! lol)

Foxpaw|Apprentice of Dawnclan|Small Ginger Tabby She-cat|Location: Training Beach|Mentions: Turtlesplash/paw, Umbraclaw

Foxpaw couldn't help herself, in the brief moment of distraction, she let her paw contact the other she-cat in several, rapid blows, before she landed back on her paws, panting slightly as she turned towards Umbraclaw with her expression returned carefully back to neutral. She didn't say anything as Umbraclaw gave her orders, then headed back through the narrow pathway to the camp. It was close enough to the main camp that Gingerstar hadn't seemed as worried about cats traveling to and from the training ground on their own.
"Its just some two-legs." She grumbled slightly, her yellow eyes narrowing as they followed the dark she-cats tail, then flickered to Turtlesplash. The sharpness receded slightly, returning to a passive, if slightly interested glow.

"For a cat who spent the past several moons as a kitty-pet, you still fight ok." she mewed. Perhaps it was a backhanded compliment, even when Foxpaw was being cautious, the sharpness of her nature still managed to escape a bit. She cast a glance back at the lake, ears pricked towards the distant noise.
"Too bad every little thing upsets the clan now-a-days." she snorted, returning her attention back to the pathway to camp.
"I guess we should return, though if this makes patrols need even more cats, we won't have a spare warrior left." she gave a rough shake of her fur, cast a glance of- 'you chose one heck of a time to come back' towards Turtlesplash, then began to trot forwards, back into the brush.

News/Event for Spiderpaw, Patch

As you follow Owlfeathers scent, it leads you first towards the small lake. Yet as you near, you realize the trail picked up a ways off, towards the Dawnclan border. As you near, you also can hear the faint sounds of two-legs. not cloe enough to be a threat, but to at least be wary of.

News/Event for Dawnclan patrol

The scent of two-legs and dog seem stronger than ever, as if they have been leaving the usual paths they walk on during the day, and have been delving further and further into the territories. They seem to be getting uncomfortably close to the camp.

Flamepaw|Dawnclan|Apprentice|13 Moons Old|Ginger She-Cat|Location: Camp - territory|Mention(s) Directly: Hornetpaw, Gingerstar|Mention(s) Indirectly: Ravenblaze, Scorchwing

Flamepaw looked down at her paws, as Gingerstar spoke/shot down her idea. "Well, I just meant...", the fluffy ginger she-cat started, trailing off. There was comfrey on the island, she was sure of it. Flamepaw looked up, as the leader started to lead them outside. Letting out a slight sigh, the apprentice got her her paws and followed the leader. Her ears perked up, as Hornetpaw spoke. He believed her, Flamepaw bounced a bit.
As Hornetpaw turned to Ravenblaze, the ginger apprentice walked a bit head of the group, not too far though, she did not want to get into trouble this close to becoming a warrior. Flamepaw looked behind her, at the older cats. She wanted to run, it felt like she had not run in days. The messenger apprentices paws where itching, maybe she could ask Gingerstar... Waiting at a small rise, for the other cats to reach her, Flamepaw moved alongside the leader. "Um, Gingerstar", Flamepaw said, looking up at the leader, "Would it be alright, once Hornetpaw has decided where we should go, if I run ahead. I won't go too far, I swear", the she-cat quickly added. The she-cat wanted to feel the wind in her ears and the ground beneath her paws, as she raced through the territory.

⌘{ Patch }⌘
:: Female :: Rogue :: 35 Moons :: M- Spiderpaw ( Frost, Blackstar, Springpaw) ::
:: Location: Duskclan Camp ::

Quickly moving to follow Spiderpaw as he moved out of the den, the rogue watched with curiosity as the male started looking about the camp, his feet leading him to the medicine cat den where he glanced inside before returning. His former words were concerning and what he said afterward definitely hinted at something going on. And what about this giant monster cat in the woods? That didn't sound pleasant
...especially considering it had killed.

"Don't you think she would know how to take care of....." The rest of Patch's words were cut off as the smaller cat ordered her to follow him his gaze no longer light-hearted as it had been before. The young male's abrasive behavior had the female's fur standing on end, her formerly bright eyes darkening and her teeth flashing a grimace as he shot off into the forest. Good thing as well, the rogue seriously didn't know what she would have done under the circumstances...on one's own a rogue would never tolerate being spoken to in such a way for it would risk others viewing it as a weakness. Spiderpaw wouldn't have been the first to find a good portion of fur lost and perhaps a little bit of skin as well for speaking to her with so little regard. It was perhaps for the best that he left her in the dust, seemingly, for the most part...alone in camp.

"That fucking clan cat." The words were growled out, lackluster in originality as the rogue's tail ripped back and forth. Everything within her screamed against following the male...not only was he younger than she, and had tried to order her around (not unlike tom's she had met in the past mind you)...he had also disregarded anything she might have tried to say. If this was how lower ranked cats were treated within the clan...a snarl of frustration and anger exited the female's mouth as she ran after the young male, her large form covering ground quickly as she followed his scent.

As for the camp? The one that may, or may not only be inhabited by a few warriors and a few queens but certainly not many at the moment? The thought of guarding it, of telling someone what was happening, or even doing anything along those lines didn't even occur to the female. She didn't realize there was supposed to be a guard, nor did she think of alerting anyone to what was happening.
