King Aaliyah saunters into the cave. His eyes scan the many cubs that run amok. Out of the corner of his eye, he spots a pretty golden adolescent cub. Instantly, the thinks that she would be a valuable addition to his pride.
“Hello, little one” The king muses with a smile. “What’s your name?”
The golden cub grins and responds softly, “Sun.”
The two lions talk for a bit, and then Aaliyah makes his way over to Imbasa.
“I’d like to bring this one home with me, Imbasa,” the lion purrs, as he hopefully waits for a positive response

A lithe, slim-limbed male's form is seen approaching the outer portions of the cave, and one would usually mistake him to be that of the normal panthera leo. However, as one peered closer, tufts of a short, bushy mane is present around the scalp of his head and 'round the muscle of his neck, and the long frontal canines that portrude from his upper gums which intimidated the largest of his kind.
A felis, no doubt, and perhaps a moderately familiar one.
The heir of Baekhyun's pride approached the den with the notable nervous aura about him; his expression is fidgety, anxiety-ridden, the outlines of wrinkles very faint but very much there, as though he were already stressed.
His fur is thin, strapped to the sides of his body like a second skin, and perhaps it was, if you didn't count the evident feathery sensation that courses throughout the sensitive pads of your skin if you dared touch it.
Yixing has grown taller, but still quite short due to his felis heritage. His height barely touched the cold 'ceiling' of the doorway before he proceeded to enter with silent, barely audible footsteps.
"Hi," Yixing purred breathlessly, sounding as though he run the long, rugged distance toward the adoption center. One thing is for sure -- He kept the kind attitude despite the many days that had prevailed in seperating them. "It's been a while, hasn't it...? My Queen is around 10 now, if someone were to be curious." Toned muscles scatter and make up the graceful bulk of his frame. He seemed to have been... 'working out' as one might say, with the time that he held possession of.
"A-Anyways," He continued and, with the entirety of his great memory, he scanned the lionesses present in the cave. His heart sank deep in his sternum as he noticed almost all of them were unfamiliar to him, and for a brief silence he wondered if the others already walked with Apedemak. And he concluded that they did, if their presence was but a whisp in the stagnant air of the den, only made to move as cubs fled past with their eagerness to earn a home. "Mmm..." Still being the socially awkward being that he was since the earliest days, he dimly recognized, from the memories he could still muster to remember, the clawless lady. Cula? Yes, Cula was her name.
She seemed awfully kind and that silently terrified him. What if he made a fool of himself? Scratch that, all of the caretakers were drop dead amazing, and he wondered if His Queen had ever felt the same emotions during the days of her youth. She was aging all too well now.
"Cula?" He murmured in his lower register, awkwardly skipping off to where she was. "May I have the spotted brown one?" (Partaining to Copper)

Imbasa smiled. “Of course. She’s becoming a fine huntress, I’m sure she’ll be a valuable addition to your pride.”

Cula took a moment to recognize the male’s scent. It was vaguely familiar, but one she hadn’t smelled in a long time. Was it...? Ah, yes. He was from Baekhyun’s pride. At the thought of the familiar queen’s many visits long ago, a wave of sadness washed over her. The broodmothers that had been here back then had all passed, and she missed them, especially Amabala and Vikela.
Shaking her head to clear it, Cula returned her thoughts to the visitor’s request. “Yes, you can have her.” After giving the cub a quick nuzzle, she turned back to Yixing. He seemed a bit anxious, but he was charming, in a way. “I hope our prides will quickly regain the friendship they once had,” she said. “Send your queen to visit soon!”

"Of course I will," Yixing grinned in response, lightly nudging the feline being mewling at him. "I've heard of her fondness for cubs."
Then, a thought struck him. He blinked slowly, wondering how he could forget such an important matter.
"My Queen has a few cubs ready to be donated. Would it be fine if we send them over later?" He inquired, gesturing, once more, in an anxious manner at the cubs still prowling the dark interior of the den.

Grinning, Cula nodded. “Of course! We’d love to take them. We have a lot right now, but I’m sure I can handle a few more.” Spotting her mate walking towards her with a fresh carcass from her last hunt, Cula grimmaced. “Just don’t tell Amanzi I said that. She thinks I’m too old to care for this many cubs,” she said with a laugh.

Yixing's eyes glistened sentimentally at the answer, his expression morphing into relief. "Ah, perfect! Expect a few more then! And um," He trailed off, returning to his timid tone as though someone ruffled his fur when he didn't want it. "I won't." He shifted his weight uncomfortably and glanced at Amanzi. The lioness' accessories intimidated him and so he stumbled to the exit with an abrupt farewell, Copper in tow.
(Ah I love my awkward heir-)

Aaliyah smiled gratefully at Imbasa as he thanked him. Then, he turned to the lioness and motioned for her to follow him. The two of them walked off happily, and made their way back to Aaliyah’s pride. (Thank you so so much!! she’s so pretty and such a nice addition to my pride! hopefully she passes her genetics down!)
