Midge carefully trotted into the adoption center. Despite being a rather well-sized king, he was quite light-footed. As he entered the area, the young king plastered a smile to his face in attempt to seem friendly. He looked around, spotting someone who appeared to be in charge. He cleared his throat, "Hello, I.. err... came to adopt?" He looked bashful now, as "adopting" wasn't ever a thing he saw himself doing.

Hera bounded up to the male, matching her energy levels with the cubs playing around her. "Welcome! You've come to the right place," she purred. "How can I help you? Any cubs you're interested in?"

His smile didn't falter as the energetic she bounded up to him. He rumbles, "Well...." and his gaze flits past Hera to gaze at the many cubs. His eye catches on a particular male cub, and he keeps his eye on the dark furred primal cub as he relays his thoughts, "That one... that one there... he looks like a fine cub." The cub, Rocky, hadn't yet noticed Midge looking.

~A lioness figure waltzed into the shelter, she stared at the cubs... but one in particular caught her eye. She walked towards the little cub making eye contact with it.~ “Hello, what might your name be little one?” ~She looked at the cub to the right of the one she asked~“why don’t you tell me your name as well”.~the one she asked first replied~ “I’m cobble nice to meet you!” ~she turned to the other cub~ “I’m Rocky...” ~she stood up and walked over to the Broodmother, Nele~ “May I take these cubs?” ~she pointed down at the cubs and looked at them once more.~ “ You guys wanna come to my pride?” ~The lioness said proudly~ “Wowww really?!” ~the cubs replied, she nodded her head with pleasure, looking back at Nele awaiting an answer.~

Midge casually moved his gaze from his chosen cub to peer at the other lion. He grazed his look over her, watching as she got Rocky riled to join her. He merely flicked his tail and tried to puff out his chest to seem like he was much stronger and leader-like than the lioness. He silently hoped Rocky would notice and choose him instead. Rather, as he puffed out his features, he looked back to the energetic lioness, Hera, and awaited her decision.

~The Lioness noticed the lion puffing out, specifically towards Rocky, She subtly stretched out her limbs showing off her large claws and sharp teeth, after she had finished she noticed Rocky staring at both of them. The lioness watched as the lion continued to puff himself out she then started doing the same, she puffed out her chest, unsheathed her claws and bared her teeth, once again stretching out her body making sure that her strong legs and sharp claws were defined. She then turned to both the cubs, Rocky and Cobble~ “I have some wonderful cubs back at my pride and i think you’ll make lots fo friends” ~The lioness said licking both of them on the head as if she was already their loving mother.~

Midge paused his puffing, and watched as the lioness had shown off as well. The young king knew he had something she did not: a mane. He presumed he could use his manly featured to entice the young male cub. He purposefully shook his mane away from his face, trying to make the action look casual more than boastful, then crouched to meet the cub at his level. He smiled, and rumbled in his best friendly tone, "Hey there, little one. I, too, have cubs for you to meet, and many kind lionesses to take you in. You could learn from the me, the /king/", he emphasized 'king', hoping it would make a difference, "and maybe... one day... you could become the best fighter in all the pride. Maybe..." he paused for dramatic effect, "you could even take my place when you're older." He then stood up and puffed his mane again in attempt to finish the job. Though, he still made a quick and weary glance at the lioness, hoping she couldn't best him.

~The lioness snickered, then unsheathing her claws once more pulling her paw up to her face in a giggle. She looked down at the cub with a friendly smile and rubbed its head, She had mothering skills, being a brood mother to many lucky cubs who grew up strong and powerful. ~“You know Rocky, you’re quite Impressive yourself, you know, you would be in competition with our heir. Already grown a manly mane,” .~The lioness suddenly remembered that she had a skill that not many lions had, she shown the light on her blood-stained chest fur~ “You know, when you grow big, I’ll teach you how to hunt and take down big animals, like hippos, and zebra. You’ll be the talk of the crowd, you, my darling” ~the lioness paused for a moment licking rocky’s head~ “Will be the most popular guy around” ~she then hugged both the cubs if they were her own, in a way it seemed like she was already loving them, even though she had only been there for a short time~

Hera nodded her head at the two adopters, purring kindly, "Well, well. It is so nice to see Rocky so popular! He's also very popular amongst his friends as well. Cobble, would you like to go with the lioness?" The broodmother asked patiently.

Cobble, who had been hesitantly peering up at the fearsome lioness, suddenly bobbed her head eagerly and pushed her nose forward to bury her face in the older lioness fur, clearly admiring her. She turned to Hera, who had raised and fed her. "Thank you, Hera. I'd love to go with the lioness! I want to become an amazing hunter just like her!"

Hera nodded again to show that she was satisfied with Cobble's decision. "I'm sure you'll do great with a mentor like her and you will flourish as a lioness. May your path be lightened by the pawsteps around you." Broodmother touched noses with cub and Cobble settled down happily beside her adopter, obviously anticipating seeing her new home.

"What about me," Rocky puffed up, impatiently interrupting the serene moment. "I think I should get to choose where I want to go seeing as I have a choice. It should be decided by me because it's about me," he explained simply.

Hera chuckled, knowing herself that the cub had not changed over the years she had nursed him. "Yes, Rocky. I think it is time you may make that decision yourself," she acknowledged his request.

Rocky seemed taken aback with surprise at the resolution before triumphantly baring his fangs. "I want to go with Midge." He roared proudly, though he nodded with respect to the lioness before padding to stand beside the visiting king.

Hera beamed, "How perfect! It seems both of you have found a cub to take home. I wish all of you the best and the best to the dear cubs who may thrive in your prosperous pridelands. May the stars light your journey home." She dipped her head and lightly pressed noses with her former cubs.

"Bye, Cobble!" Rocky shouted as the groups departed from the den, pausing once to look the opposite direction.

"Bye!" Cobble squeaked, bounding after the older lioness.

Hera called out one last time to the fading figures, "Come back any time! Thank you all."

Young king named Trayon quietly entered Nyumbani shelter and looked around. He heard it was a place where new pride members could be found. His advicer Drakker mentioned twice it's not needed for him to come in person, but it's quite an interesting place for a barely grown lion.
A huge smile appeared on his muzzle after noticing cubs, chasing each other and hiding only to jump out and scare their friends. Some adols were sitting nearby, as if they were supervising these kids.
"Hello?" - he said, while trying to search for someone in charge here.
