OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. You can have more than one. -Be nice! :) Anyone is allowed to join this roleplay as long as you follow this rule. Scorpius sighed, looking back at Koala. "I don't know. The least I can do is warn my tribe. I need to start acting like a King." He growled at himself, grumbling under his breath in a very self-deprecating manner. He looked back at Koala again, nervousness rising in his chest. "Are you...are you staying here?" He asked, doing his best to keep the stutter and emotion out of his voice. He didnt realize he had grown so close to the Rainwing so fast. His head whipped around as he spotted Mango flying towards the desert, and he tensed up. He could see from here that the battle seemed to have stopped - whatever they had been trying to kill each other over seemed to have been resolved - whether that was a good or a bad thing would remain to be seen. There also seemed to be a Skywing patrol heading towards the desert, and he sniffed in a very nervous manner. He wasnt sure what to make of this - if Barb had managed to piss off two different tribes with no allies, she was in trouble. ---- Solstice let out another snarl, watching Barb for a few moments before rushing over to Seal, looking her over with fear in her eyes. She hissed at Barb before gesturing to North with her tail. "Help me carry her. We'll talk when we get home." She snarled at Barb's words. Serac growled quietly at Barb, offering only a distracted and harsh nod to Sahara. He spread his wings, sand slipping off them and into his armour. The icewing scratched sand off of a spot on his face, scowling. He had never smelt more like a corpse, the blood of Sandwings, Nightwings, and even a few accidental icewings stained his claws and teeth. "Yes. Let's leave this forsaken desert." He hissed. -- Ocelot's scales flashed white, then pale green, then white again. He stuttered a panicked apology and parting to King Scorpius and his brother, before leaping into the air and racing after Mango. "Mom! Please, I thought we talked about this!" Solstice nodded to Serac in response before turning to the strange Sandwing who seemed to be with North. She narrowed her eyes, looking her over. "You may follow us to the wall. Then we will talk." Solstice wasnt entirely unreasonable - if this dragon had helped her son, then she wouldnt be aggressive. However, she wasn't in the mood to fully trust any Sandwing at the moment. She looked back at the battlefield, shooting a glare at several Sandwings, before she called out, "Blizzard. Come back with me." Her heart clenched in her chest at the thought that the young dragonet had followed them to battle, but right now, she had no words she could say - she had to focus on Seal and North. She leaned down, attempting to pick up Seal and lay her partially over her back, stepping closer to North to indicate that she wanted help from him. She couldn't fly, and walking was painful at the moment, but she needed to get Seal back to the palace. She looked behind her, searching for Blizzard. ---- Starchaser frowned at the sight of Mango taking off, Ocelot in tow. He was momentarily confused by his Rainwing sibling's color change, but he could still see Mango, so he took to the sky, following the two, nervousness starting to rise in his stomach. ---- Scorpius sighed as the other Nightwing took to the sky as well, shaking his head a little. "If you need to stay with your mother, I understand." He began, wondering how he should choose his next words. He swallowed a little, thinking before he opened his mouth again, "I suppose I would be lying if I said I wanted you to stay, though.
