OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. You can have more than one. -Be nice! :) Anyone is allowed to join this roleplay as long as you follow this rule. Aries shook his head, breathing in the chilly air from in the sky. He knew Petrel would be alright in the cave so he left to get some penguins for his brother. North glanced around. The Great Ice Cliff was just in sight. "Mother, the Sandwing..." He looked at Sahara, who had just treated Seal's wound using the cactus. Solstice stood from afar as she watched the Sandwing wring out the juice from the cactus onto Seal's wound. The Icewing Queen stared intently, almost missing the fact that Seal had woken up. She wanted to practically launch herself at her daughter and give her a massive hug in one of the most overt displays of affection she could probably ever do, but she stopped herself at the last second, flinching back slightly. "How are you feeling?" She asked, clearly nervous. Solstice looked back at Sahara as North mentioned her, looking her up and down. "While I thank you for saving my daughter, and my son, I want to know exactly this - why did you betray Barb?" The Icewing hybrid tilted his head and narrowed his eyes as the sandwing rouge Confessed. "Isn't this poetic?", Serac chuckled darkly, "Queen Solstice, I assume you are sparing her? She certainly cannot go back to her kingdom, however." Despite his opposition to other dragons, he felt a strange kindering with the sandwing who was now an outlaw in her own kingdom. Especially since she had already proven herself, in his eyes, at least, by her willingness to help the icewing queen. "We cannot force you to do anything, and I have no....", he searched for the word, humming, he was used to saying and doing what he wanted when he wanted. The idea of bowing to someone still didn't set right with him entirely, even if it was his half sister. "Authority? Yes. I have no authority to tell you to do much. Solstice gave Seal a skeptical look, but nevertheless, allowed her to stand on her own instead of attempting to offer assistance. "I am glad you are alright," was all she managed to offer for words - she was immensely grateful that she had survived, but Solstice had never been very good with words. Solstice frowned at the Sandwing's words. While she understood what was being said, she still wasn't certain whether she trusted this Sandwing, or why exactly she had helped her son get back - and from the looks of it, saved his life, too. "I'm not going to kill you, if that's what you think." She chuckled darkly, grinning a little at Serac. "I'm not going to do anything to you. You are free to do as you please. You saved my son, and now my daughter, as well, so sparing your life is the least I could be doing." She looked over at Serac, giving him a slight nod. She could tell the dragon didn't exactly like authority - she felt strangely pleased with the fact that he was allowing her to lead without questioning her authority. Of course, if he did question her authority, she would shut it down quickly - she was not soft, by any means - but she appreciated the fact that a dragon who disliked authority seemed to respect her enough to allow her to lead.
