OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. Serac motioned for Solstice to stop, not wanting her to exhaust herself further. "I can carry Seal on my back," The large icewing tilted his head at Sahara, "Sandwing, you look strong. Assist North with Queen Solstice." He pulled Seal gently onto the space between his wings, shuffling them a bit to make room for the new weight. Pulling his wings up slightly to make sure she was secure, he dipped his neck down towards Sahara. "While I thank you for keeping her son safe, know that if any harm comes to the Queen I will rip every scale from your body with my teeth." he hissed calmly, "Or, better yet, I'll let Barb do it for me. Starchaser frowned a little. "Apparently Trunk may have started that rather large sandstorm over there." He growled. The Skywings, who seemed to have arrived recently, now seemed to be preoccupied with another dragon - from this distance, he couldn't tell exactly what kind of dragon they were, but he was able to infer that whoever they were, they were at least part-Skywing due to the size of the dragon's wings. The battle, however, seemed to be over for the most part, but Starchaser still didn't want to get in the middle of it - for one, a sandstorm did not seem like something he wanted to ever experience, and if Barb managed to piss Solstice off to the point where the Icewing Queen attacked her, he had a feeling that Barb wasn't to be trusted. --------- Solstice stepped back a little, surprised at Serac's willingness to take her place and help. She was about to protest, but for once, she seemed to realize that helping carry another dragon wasn't exactly something she would be able to muster the strength for right now. Her leg was hurting, and she knew walking with Seal on her back would only make it worse. She shot Barb a glare as the Sandwing returned, holding what appeared to be some kind of cactus...thing. Then again, Solstice didn't come out here enough to know exactly what cacti looked like, and she didn't spend her time staring at them. She held her gaze for a few moments, as a warning - I wouldn't come any closer if I were you. Her gaze then focused on the strange Sandwing, and this time she didn't hold back the smile on her face at Serac's warning. She decided then that she very much did like her brother. She gave him a small nod, letting him know that she didn't plan to protest for once - she had had enough of fighting, and she honestly couldn't remember the last time she had slept. Then again, I've always found that fighting was something I've never failed at. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"Uhhh...." North mumbled as Sahara supported Solstice. He flapped harder, so that Sahara wouldn't need to take a lot of weight. They were away from the sandstorm now. Swift roared in pain. Solstice growled a little as Sahara hoisted up her wing, but for the most part, she stayed silent. As they began to fly, she was aware of Barb following behind, her tail flicking in annoyance. The Sandwing wouldn't be able to get over the wall, and they were stopping there, anyways. The sandstorm seemed to clear out the further north they flew, but she still felt her entire body ache. As the air began to grow slightly colder, the ache seemed to subside - the cold seemed to replenish the Icewing's strength, and she was just glad to be heading away from the desert. ------ Scorpius frowned a little as he spotted the Icewings flying away, Solstice near the front as she was supported but another Icewing and what appeared to be a Sandwing. He frowned a little, but said nothing. He glanced back at Koala as he noticed a very large Sandwing winging her way after the Icewings, and he was filled with the need to move in front of Koala. This very large Sandwing was most likely Barb, and he really didn't want anything to happen to Koala - although, he doubted she would make a move towards them. He flicked his tail, brushing it against Koala's shoulder. "Come on, we should stay out of their way." Koala still hadn't specified whether he wanted to come back with him, and Scorpius decided not to press. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Solstice whipped her tail around as they landed in the snow, eyeing Barb warily. That...is strange. That was the only thing she could think as she processed the Sandwing's statement. She stepped forwards - or rather, limped - and snatched the cacti. "You. Sandwing." She growled, whipping around to look at Sahara. "How does one use this?" She asked, gesturing to the cure and looking pointedly at Seal. She figured the juice was probably squeezed onto the wound, and that would help stop the poison from killing her daughter, but she knew nothing about this - better to ask, than to make a mistake that might cost Seal her life. 0 players like this post!
