Beatrice shrugged. "I feel like people should know about what happened last year. " She inhaled. "And it was the pots in that shop window. I can't stand the sight of them, but a promise there's a reason why. And apparently word didn't really get out. Last year I was on patrol. I got a call for a murder in the area, and I was one to the top patrol officers at the time so me and some others were called to the scene... " She paused. (oop sorry for not being here! :O) Dominique had been in another office when Beatrice had knocked - she had been conversing with an officer, who had told her about a violent attack today. None of her officers had bothered to convey this information to her, and the fact that they hadn't had frankly pissed the Chief of police off. The least they could do was radio the guy at the front desk. "I assume several officers are there, judging by the fact that a few calls came in between officers, and a 911 call was taken by an officer earlier today for that same area." Dominique let out a low, rumbling snarl in response, making the rhino she was standing next to almost jump out of her seat with fear. "Give me the name of the hospital." The rhino obliged, handing her a notebook pad with the name and address scribbled down. "I'll figure it out myself." She stalked out, grumbling. If I wasn't such a damn softie, I would fire someone already to get the point across. She stepped into her cruiser, going almost over the speed limit on her way there. She parked quickly (as quickly as one could when they were forced to parallel park - and strode into the hospital. The lioness at the front desk opened her mouth to speak as the tall liger stepped inside, sunglasses covering her eyes. She simply flashed her badge, and the lioness's mouth shut. "You seen any officers?" The lioness relayed that she had, in fact, but was unable to say what room they had gone into - just that the victim the officers were involving themselves with had been a victim of a violent attack.
