Amaris looked towards Beatrice and the chief, before sinking in her chair. Beatrice looked like a kicked puppy, and although Amaris wanted to help her, she was glad she wasn't in her place. Dominique turned just in time to see both Amaris and Beatrice. She was about to get pissed and start chewing them out, but from the looks of it, they had both been doing their jobs. She really needed to stop cutting people some slack, but honestly, as long as they were doing their jobs, she really couldn't be all too pissed at them. She looked them up and down for a few moments before settling her eyes on Beatrice. She took her sunglasses off, hanging them on her shirt. "So. Rundown of the situation?" She asked, getting to the point quickly. "Since I'm here, and you can report in." She smirked a little and lifted an eyebrow, trying to convey that while she was, in fact, not happy with the lack of reports, she also wasn't all too pissed. Darby only grabbed out his flask, taking a swig quietly, "Mmm..". He got up and left Ronnie by himself to sit in the hallway. He plopped back down on his bed, tail swaying slightly. Beatrice paused. "A-actually it can wait. There's a lot going on and I need to figure it out. " She smiled, walking out of the hospital without another word. She was pretty sure she knew who had been shot. And she didn't want to think about it. She decided she could probably just... Run home or something... Or talk to Darby, she didn't know, everything just went in a downward spiral today. She was just stuck, sitting in her car, hands on the wheel but not moving, not going anywhere. She held her head in her hands, letting out a slight whimper/sob. Under any other circumstances she would be fine, but everything that had happened today was so personal. 0 players like this post! Dominique calmly observed Beatrice as she spoke, nodding every so often."Good work." She stated. She observed her face once more, noticing the changes in emotion as she spoke, no matter how imperceptible. The Chief had gotten skilled at that over the years, it seemed. "That is fine with me. I suppose today is not the day to do that. We can speak tomorrow- or tonight, if sooner is better than later." She let Beatrice leave, thinking to herself as she continued leaning on the wall in the hospital hallway. --- Ronnie sighed in an almost exasperated manner - Darby had been affectionate with him earlier, and now he seemed to want nothing to do with him. Which was Ronnie's fault - he had been too busy worrying about his damn job to be with Darby like he wanted to. Truth be told, it really hurt him. "Because I care. I dont like seeing you like this - it hurts me." He wanted to edge closer to him, to be closer to him, but the way he was acting made him think better of it. 0 players like this post! Darby looked at Ronnie "Can you come cuddle with me..? I'm cold.." he whined quietly, looking at Ronnie. His tail slowly wagging at the idea, he was always alone here. Beatrice pounded her head against the steering wheel. She want to go home. Stress was setting in, she felt like someone was squeezing the life out of her. She felt like talking to someone , but at the same time she knew she would just be dragging someone down into her pit of stress and anxiety and embarrassment. She decided not to go home. Darby and Ronnie were already not at work. But she didn't know how to do her job when she could barely muster up the strength to drive out of the parking lot. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Emerald drives back to her office. As soon as she gets there,she knew she couldn't get spark with two papers and four bags. There must be more evidence. She types up another report. Amaris and I got a criminal who hurt a citizen name Luca. Luca got shot by bullets and had to receive a surgery,taking the bullets out of his body. Luca survived only barely,(noting the doctors just stood there)but his body has scratches from the fight,maybe a scar. This criminal should go to prison. If you look closely,there is a scab on where I hit him with my taser. There must be some fingerprints on the crime scene and on Lucas body. Emerald prints the third paper out. Was that enough?
