Beatrice's ears flopped back and she whined like an upset dog. "Oh Darby why we're you drinking what's going on why did you call are you okay is something wrong should I call someone??? " She spewed out questions, having a mental breakdown. She didn't like seeing people close to her like this. She gave him a moment to let the questions register in his mind, knowing he wasn't exactly thinking up to speed.

Enderfang leaped out of her car. "Well,that tree is to short,and that one looks to easy,so how about this tall one?" Enderfang leaps up the tree,feeling great.after 20 mins. Of climbing,she decides to drive to the town to get some lunch. She saw something take the money! She climbs out of her car and calls 911,her spine seething with anger. How DARE they! If only the slow phone could call 911 faster.>:(

Beatrice looked even more panicked now. "Darby NO. Don't say those things. Darby, I want you to listen to me. I know life sucks, but we'll make it through. But you can't say things like that. You're scaring me, Darby, do you hear me? Not because your bad, but because you're a good person saying some really bad things. " She gently grabbed his shoulders. "You're a good person Darby, and I'm sure there's someone out there that knows that and loves you for it. " She looked him in the eye. "And I'm sure you weren't listening to that cheesy bullshit, so here's what I want you to know. It's all gonna work out, one way or another. And either way, I'm not gonna let you talk shit about life. " She smiled weakly at him.

Beatrice held her smile for a little longer. "Sure. " She let go of his shoulders, ears relaxing a little bit. She felt kind of bad for yelling at him, but she did NOT want him to go down the route he was headed.

Enderfang charges after the rodent,after a minute,it's all over. Enderfang pinks the rodent down baring her teeth. Then she smiles."thanks." She says,snatching the wallet and then kicks a pile of dirt over."now,what should I have for lunch"?

Darby showed her his room, it had a lot of empty Smirnoff bottles but it was overall neat. A pride flag was hung neatly in his room along with posters and shelves full of trinkets like funko pops and mini collectible pokemon action figures. A large flat screen was on his wall, facing his large bed.

Beatrice looked utterly amazed that a room could look like that. "It's beautiful. Especially compared to my shack of a house. " She smiled a little. She took a moment to admire all of the things he owned, which she would never in her life have the money to afford all of it. She snuck a glance at him, desperately wanting to know how to help him. Right now she just wanted to hug the bejesus out of him. She couldn't take it when people went through stuff like this. Especially after... Well...

Ronnie was getting worried now - he had called Darby twice and he hadn't answered - of course, he was sitting in the break room, which didn't have great service (when did that happen), and it had gone straight to voicemail twice. Either his phone was off or his calls weren't going through. The mountain lion's phone was almost dead, so there was no point in actually calling again. He knew where Ronnie lived - maybe he should check there.

He strode out into the parking lot, shoving his hands nervously in his pocket. He produced his keys as he approached his car, the Mustang sitting in the parking lot where he had left it this morning. Taking his police cruiser when he wasn't investigating or on duty was a bad idea. He didn't want Chief Haze getting onto him for that. Speaking of which, as he began to pull out, he spotted the familiar sight of the Chief's cruiser as she pulled in, her sunglasses covering her eyes. She paid him no mind as she parked, and Ronnie took off down the road.

A few minutes of driving through heavy traffic (and cursing at said traffic) and he arrived in Tundra Town. He turned up his car's heat as he drove ten below the speed limit, trying to remember where, exactly, Darby lived. He spotted a building that rung a bell in his mind and he swung into the parking lot, parking in an almost uncharacteristically haphazard manner. He stepped out of his car, pocketing his keys, and made his way towards the entrance, tail flicking nervously as he approached the door, knocking tentatively.

Chief Haze kicked open the door of her cruiser, standing up and throwing the door closed once again. The liger slid her sunglasses off, hanging them from the front pocket of her uniform and strode confidently towards the front door, throwing the doors open.

She was greeted by several animals, and she just grunted, nodding her head in greeting. The meeting had run longer than she had expected, and truth be told, she thought the mayor was an annoying bastard, but whatever. She may vote, but in the end, she didn't make the rules. Except, she kind of did here, she supposed. In a way.

"You hand out the files?" She asked abruptly, walking up to the elephant who had handed out said files earlier while she was gone. He nodded nervously, and she raised an eyebrow to convey that she was looking for a verbal confirmation.

"Yes, I did."

"Good. They go out on cases?"

"I had a few radio in, but other than that, seems like several have been off doing who-knows-what." She grunted, running a paw over her face in exasperation.

"Every cop you see, tell them we have a meeting today at five. Don't be late." She growled, and she turned away, heading towards her office. Today was going to be a long, irritating day.

Darby groaned getting up "WHO THE F-" he cut himself off, opening the door and realizing it was Ronnie. Darby was just in some shorts and that was it. He looked drunk- because he was. He looked at Ronnie, his brain slowly processing what he would say. His tail swayed a tiny bit, signaling he was still functioning..somehow.

"Darby who-" Beatrice cut herself off, seeing Ronnie. She relaxed, a lot, knowing that someone else was here that could help her with Darby. She didn't feel comfortable leaving him alone until she was sure he was fine. "Hey Ronnie. " She debated whether or not to tell him what Darby had said. She decided that he had said it to her, and that was his decision to make. She didn't say anything, walking over to the door. She gave a worried look to Ronnie, then almost unnoticabbly gestured to Darby.

After eating the lunch that I don't want to say what it was,Enderfang took a train to check out all the other regions,but only had time for one because she got tired.
