Ronnie jerked his head back a little as Darby answered the door, surprised at his blunt words. His eyes then flickered over to Beatrice, who was looking between him and Darby. He looked over Darby, confused, unable to say anything and provide any other greeting in return to Beatrice except for a slight nod in her direction. "You're drunk." he realized. His voice was calm - he knew what people looked like when they were drunk, he wasn't stupid. he just wasn't expecting Darby to be drunk. He was aware that getting overly worked up or emotional probably wasn't a good idea, however. He gestured to the inside of the house with his paw. Amaris sat at her desk, clicking her pen repeatedly as she stared at her computer screen. She should have followed after Beatrice, offer her assistance, but she'd been too much of a chicken. Seven months on the job, and yet she still couldn't get the hang of making friends. She picked up her coffee, chugging it down. Looks like it'll be another long night ahead. 0 players like this post! Luca was walking down the street, fidgeting with his bandages. He felt someone shove him and spun around, almost falling over. A menacing looking grey wolf with a toothpick in his mouth stood in front of him, chewing a toothpick. Luca looked down. "Not right now Spark. " The wolf grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. "What'd you say to me? " Luca snarled. "If you won't listen to me, let's take this elsewhere. The wolf dragged him back into an alley, snarling. Luca raised his fists. ~small time skip Luca lay on the ground, clutching his ribs. His nose was bleeding onto the ground, and he spat out a tooth. The wolf chuckled, walking away and leaving him there. Luca was several open wounds, nothing too severe, but combined he felt like he couldn't move. " He felt like throwing up, and he was pretty sure he figured out what all was broken. The gray wolf suddenly returned, seeing Luca on the phone. "Call the cops, eh? " He pulled a gun out. Lucas eyes went wide. "WHOA DUDE DON-" The wolf fired the gun, the bullet hitting Luca in the shoulder. He groaned, the wolf firing another shot and then bolting.
