The wolf mix gave a tired smile as the thin dog spoke his name. Fiorello. She would remember that, after all, it's not every day you meet such a nice dog. Though she'd be interested in discussing the day with her son, Sana knew all too well that he'd be lost in his own mind soon enough, if he wasn't already. Plus she had to admit that she was getting much too tired herself.
Curling into a tight ball of hair, Sana felt her worries drop from her shoulders and calm fall over her mind. She was safe here, if not forever at least for tonight. So, the spotted mutt would fall into a deep sleep, not feeling the larger warm embrace of Demesu as he huddled up next to her to fall asleep as well.

Fiorello. Was that his name, he had to admit it was pretty even if he was wary of the ghostly dog. Demesu watched as the pale figure headed off, a respectful nod being his farewell. He waited a moment before turning to his mother, ready to speak heavily about their arrival in the city. Though when Demesu's eyes reached the white dog, she'd already curled herself into a ball, ready to get some much needed rest.
It didn't take long for him to make his way over, a sigh in his breath and worry in his heart as he settled in with Sana. The hay was nice and quick to warm, and the corner would protect his back. He would lay against her, curling up himself and keeping an eye on the door until he too would fall asleep. He would be safe for the moment, at least that's what he hoped.

There. The expansions were finally complete. They looked around the den as though for the first time. It was a fairly sizeable space, with feathers and tufts of various furs decorating the walls. A few sparkly objects lay in a pile next to their pallet, and a wall of pelts closed off a portion of the room. On the other side of the pelts was another small pallet of furs, with one of the largest of their sparkly rocks next to it, as a gift. I hope he likes it.... and that he agrees to den with me at all.... maybe he won't like the rock... I've never seen him pick up anything while he's scouting and I've never been in his den so I don't know what he has there either. Maybe I should... They moved towards the rock as though to move it, but changed their mind a second later. No, I'll leave it. If he doesn't like it I'll move it later. They settled down on their pallet, circling once twice, three times before finally laying down with a soft huff. I'll just.... rest my eyes while I wait for him....... It wasn't long before they dropped off to sleep.

Reo listened to the older dog's words. He was right. They didn't know exactly what happened. 'Stupid.' Reo thought to himself. He let his emotions run into his work again. He shook his head again and followed suit with Ferrer in digging. The two dogs worked quickly and diligently. They had finally dug the hole and buried Mavy in it. Reo set his flowers on her grave in respect and started heading home. He knew Ferrer would follow suit sooner or later. His ears were kept open for any more signs of Insurgent but Reo's head drooped as he walked to the camp.

Once there, he told his packmates about the death and the details. The afternoon had gone so well and now it's so bad. The sighthound left immediately to his den and curled up into a circle. He spent his whole day sleeping and he might as well do the whole night and day tomorrow sleeping as well. The poor pups. However, he knew Ferrer would take a good job of it. The light brown canine also wondered how the beta was doing in the other camp. Hopefully she can figure out what went wrong.

Shatter saw a dog pounce on her rabbit and she leaped forward with a snarl. ‘Hey!’ She barked, ‘that’s my rabbit.’ She took a menacing step forward, and though she was terribly thin, there was ferocity glittering just below the surface of her eyes. She was very much ready to fight for this meal.
