This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Katniss | Mangroves | He flinched a bit, looking over to Howl. “ I- um.. ,” they felt embarrassed, thinking Howl had already heard what he told his father, mumbling his words as they spoke. “ I’m sorry, maw. ,” they say, although he doesn’t look sorrowful, the same emotionless look on their face, unwitting to show how he really felt. “ I just wanted to prove myself. ,” they admit, looking away from his family, playing with the tip of his tail, although small patches had been missing, replaced by scars, the sight seemed to sooth him, their body becoming less tense when they couldn’t see his family’s stares. 0 players like this post! Katniss | Mangroves He stops his movements, forgetting what Howl asked him and looking over to Sage, now showing what they felt, a sorrowful expression replacing his bland look. He doesn’t know what else to say, just repeating the same words they had said before. “ I’m sorry, Sage. ,” he says in a hushed, weak voice. He continues to stare at Sage, looking away as Jasper begins to speak, looking up to her, instead. “ Nothin’, Maw. ,” his face is void of emotion- once again, hiding what he truly feels, shuffling back from their family, holding his tail with their claws, playing with the bits of fur that weren’t dirtied with scars. “ This- this just ain’t fair, I’m sorry. ,” they say with a sigh, looking over to Harris, giving him a pitiful gaze, staring at his sibling oddly, not with a brotherly love, but a hurt one, being reminded of their pa’ in him. “ I just don’t know what else to say to say to you, Harris. ,” he weakly says, tugging at their fur. 0 players like this post! (gonna slip this in here so we can move onto sunbaked whenever we want lmao) Funeral Description The pride had fallen pretty much silent- most of them wearing some sort of attire in a shade of black. The sky was shifting into soft yellows and reds. The pride was gathered around the cove of altars- a flat stone positioned in the middle. Dolly's body was placed at the center of it- posed in a sleeping position with her eyes calmly shut. She had dried flowers sprinkled on her body. One by one lions came up and bowed their heads to her- and at the very end- was Angel. He was covered in long black silks and cloths- a veil covering his eyes from the others. But still sheer enough for him to see. He lets his forehead rest against hers for a while. Whispering thank yous and farewells. Most of the lions had their heads lowered- many were weeping as they finished their goodbyes. He looked to Najwa- nodding slightly so he may bless her so she may pass on. He steps off to the side of Dolly- face focused on her placid form. Despite not being able to see his eyes behind the veil- tears dripped off of his chin, and he hiccuped from time to time- his heart in his throat. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dolly|Spirit realm As Dolly's body was blessed- and lowered into the earth- the small lioness could feel herself once more. She blinked- confused and defensive. " W-what? Kids!?? Angel?? Haven!??" She cries- still thinking they're in trouble- she feels her soul floating upwards- she struggles- trying to hold on to the ground- but her paws phase through the physical. She feels her heart freeze- letting herself be lifted upwards. And that's when she sees it- a funeral.. HER funeral. But- she doesn't gasp, or faint, nor is she sad. She's thrilled- joyful tears filling her sights as she sees all her children gathered in a peaceful place- safe from Casta. Safe from Lushpelt. They were free. SHE was free. She only wondered what came next. She felt horribly tired. So tired she couldn't speak- only looking to the ever shrinking scene with a calm smile. Casta|Lushpelt *mentions starvation* The king had pretty much gone mad. Over the course of a few days- many of his pride had left him, in search of something better. Prey was little. And sickness seems to plague the pride. Those who didn't die from illness died from starvation. Those who didn't die from either died from random maulings and battles that broke out for no reason. Strangely enough- the fodder snags always had prey that stumbled into their pit and died. Casta would try to take it from them- but it was like something was blocking his soul The gods... they said- the gods were angry. He tried to deny it- he rampaged through the pride- killing off random and loyal pride members. He had torn the river of Fur's down to the ground. He was aching- starving. And his son had left. Left and took his pride and gods with him. He snarled, slashing at the already destroyed bits left in his den- his figure was thin- his skin clinging to his bones. And yet like some cruel prank he hadn't died. Whatever. He didn't care. He just cared to win the war. To kill Hyena. To avenge the queen. When he strode back out into the pride- his heart tugged with glee at the sight of Pethos's altar- still strongly standing tall- covering the pride with little shade. " Oh Pethos... my great king.. tell me.. will you stand by me in the war? Stand by me when I find my son? Hyena?" He pleas- bowing his head. 0 players like this post! Kivuli and Mwanga It’s not often a lion receives a funeral like this. 2 lions are there to greet Dolly, both smiling kindly. An odd but beautiful blend of flowers and frost spread in front of her paws. “Hello, Miss Dolly.” Mwanga smiles.
