After he had finished with the lioness he went towards the center of the pride, casting a bundle of snake weed and tail tuft into a river as he went.
He took off his hyena pelt for a brief moment, exposing his golden back and marking before re settling the pelt and continuing onwards.

It had been a long, nagging day, and she decided to take a break from his duties, making way from his den to a small, dried piece of land, filled with bumpy and sharp rocks. She looked around the pride- her back aching as it hit the side of the jagged rock she sat on. “ Ouch. ,’” she hissed to herself, rubbing her fur as she backed away from the rock, slumping onto the ground, dust collecting onto her fur. He sighs- eyes narrowing out of boredom, before her mind became a loud buzzing of different kinds of noises and distractions. “ Is Hyena really dead- what happen if a royal died? I haven’t seen anyone since the war, really… But it could be just rumors… ,” she thinks to herself, busying himself with thinking, long before she realizes how much time had passed. He curses at, barely cleaning himself off before promptly leaving the small area she had slept on, going back to the loud, bustling dens of her pride.

Petra | Sunbaked

Much time had passed, she had finally entered Sunbaked after much delay, the smell of death no longer lingering onto her fur anymore. “ Finally. ,” she mumbled in one, quick breath, readying herself to go into the pride before meeting Calista. The only think recognizable about Petra was her orange eyes, the scars that had never gone away around her neck- then her abnormally large body size. She scoffed at the sight of her unrecognizable appearance, hoping only Calista would be able to remember her as she entered the pride, lowering her head and gaze from the other lions and lionesses.

Adora | Sleekwater

She had a horrid dream- a misty fog surrounded her, her feet covered by muddy water, although it had been clear enough for he to see her reflection. She looked horrible, drained of life, a saddened yet angry look on her face, before her reflection began to rise, grabbing at her neck, then her legs, and soon she was being drowned in the water. Her sight became blurred, and no matter how much she tried to scream, it was muffled by the water, instead, a small cubs scream echoed throughout the murky water. It was like Daven’s voice- his screaming. Then another cub joined, and soon she could hear all of the cubs voices chiming together, screaming in agony, in horror. She woke up covered in sweat, teary eyed as she looked around the quiet den, her son nuzzling into her fur, Mellow mumbling a few words in her sleep, Eros cuddled next to her. “ oh. ,” is all she says, realizing it had only been a dream, tears beginning to fall down her face at teh relief of seeing all of her cubs, all of her family. She slumped back onto the ground, although to scared to go back to sleep, the sounds of the cubs yells still ringing in her ears. Sounds of bugs and water hitting rocks should have soothed her, but it only worsened her paranoia, driving her to slowly get up, taking a walk out of her den, following an unfamiliar trail surrounded by watery grass as fog began to surround her, her paws imprinting into the muddy dirt.

He sighs- rolling his eyes slightly.

" Fine-" He marches over to her and stands behind her- positioning her best he could before coming to her side to check if her form was right.

" Alright. " He mumbles- taking the same position on the tree next to her.

" The first thing ya gotta do is look over the tree you're climbing. See like- for example. My tree has that branch a few ways up. That'd be a good place to rest before climbing the rest of the way. You also have to look for signs of rot- nobody likes to climb a rotten tree." He remarks.

" Once ya done that.. ya pounce with your back legs- and hook into the next bit of tree with your front. Like so-" He does as he's described- his legs launching him up pretty far- before he latches onto the tree. He looks down at her.

" Now you give it a shot" He offers.

Kat | Mangroves

He hums to himself, smushing small bugs into the ground as they begin to bounce around, the birds tunes and songs echoing across the twisting mangroves. “ One lil’ bug. ,” he says, grabbing one and swallowing it in one swift motion- before continuing his counting. “ Two li’ bug. ,” they say, scooping up two small bugs with one paw, chomping on the small critters. Soon enough, he had gotten to five, already full by then, plopping the small bugs onto the ground, letting them escape back to the wilderness. “ Meh, nothin’ special ‘bout the tase. ,” he mutters to himself, picking at their sharp teeth, smiling down at his reflection, winking with their one good eye before continuing their walk, a small frog accompanying him on their journey.

Celestial Dawning Description

After the war, the days began to come to a still, a festival being prepared for two newly blessed mates, colorful decor littering the pride. A few wanders joined the celebration, including Leto, her tail flickering behind her as she pranced along the border of the pride, jumping down as she maneuvered her way around the forest, her body slipping between the trees with ease, jumping over small rocks, and soon she had made her way to the main area of the pride, the sun beginning to set as the mates made their way out of their den, two females wearing colorful flower crowns, an adolescent guiding them to the main area of the pride, throwing and arrangement of flowers along the trail they walked along. A few lions cheered and roared, sone congratulating the couple, Kabir nodding his head to the couple, raising a paw to silence the pride. At this gesture- the pride came to a still, awaiting the king’s words. Kabir had a smile upon his face, looking down at his pride, his two tails flickering behind his lion body. “ May Asteria bless you with a bright and loving future. ,” he says, looking at the mates who smile back at him, holding each other’s paws dearly. “ And may the festivities begin! ,” Kabir says with a loud roar, creating a few lion’s to mimic this, before music begins to play, the lions in the pride continuing their chatting as dancers wearing bright decor begin to flood the main area, surrounding the couple, bringing them into the circle of their vivid and repeating movements, the lionesses’s beginning to join the dancing as they smile at one another, the sun beginning to set, the moon and stars shining brightly enough for the lions to continue their festivities, lights along the trails guiding more lions in and out of the bustling pride.

Lady | Sleekwater

Lady nodded her head as she fixed and adjusted her own body to match Harris’s. “You make it seam easy!” She yelled up at harris, “A little bit too easy.”

Lady reared herself back as she looks up at the tree before running towards the tree, jumping from her back legs and hooking her front claws to the bark with eyes closed out of fear. After a few seconds of hanging she opened one eye and then other, looking down to where she was.

“Oh my gods, h-how do you do this all day?!” She slowly climbed up the tree, finally making it up to the branch with a shaky breath. Lady looked down seeing the great heights, eyes widened as her claws dug more into the tree.

Dayla|Sleekwater

The miss had been having headaches all day. She was currently lied out on the floor of the hit that stored all her tools like a dead animal. She groaned and winced. Any light making her feel queasy.

Salem was currently prowling around her body. Being quiet as not to further upset her headache as he spoke.

“ God… it must be an active soul if it’s hitting you this hard..” he mentions. Her headaches only got this painful when a lost spirit was active nearby. Dayla was in agony- holding her head and wincing as she shut her eyes tightly.

“ Are you sure you didn’t see any..?” She asks the ghost- who sighs, petting her affectionately. Despite his paw phasing through her.

“ I looked everywhere Day. But you no I’m know I’m no good at finding those things.” He scoffs. Irritated one was causing her so much grief.

The miss hisses as she feels light hit her face. Angel had pushed aside the hide that covered the entrance to the den- and wince when he saw her.

“ Dayla?? Headaches again..?” He tuts, quickly letting the hide cover the entrance again.

The lioness whines in response. Which makes Angel frown.

“ Is there anything I can do?”

“ Can you banish the dead?” She asks sarcastically- In a foul mood. Angel scratches the back of his neck sheepishly.

“ Ah… no- but I’m certain Elvira could-“

“ No! It doesn’t work like that! How many times do I have to say that!” She snaps- putting a paw to her head.

“ Sorry.. I just.. need to be alone right now.” She sighs- turning her back away from him. The king nods- stalking out with a sigh.

He laughs a bit. “ Oh don’t be a big baby. It’s not that high at all! Why if you fell from here you’d only sprain or break something little! Nothing to get all nervous about.” He snickers-peering to her smugly.

“ You sand pounders are so clueless.” he jabs with a smirk.

After rooting around a bit he drops some snake weed in the nearest drinking spot. He then goes out to find the lioness. Perhaps he could convince her to come with him. It gets boring out on your own. He went back to the lionesses post, must be a guard he thought and began trying to convince her to leave lushpelt behind and come with him on his adventures
