This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Shadow Blossoms She looked at Calida, then Hyena, then Jester, and finally Ghost. She huffed with a smile, "Hmmm, I don't know Calida." Shadow teased, "Are you sure you're ready? You don't need a nap first?" She nudged her cub playfully, snickering at the memories of how grumpy Calida could get if she was sleep deprived. Shadow did not blame her. Mudstone | Sage She pursed her lips and danced between her paws. "Well, I was out swimmin' and I saw a gator goin' fer that beach the sand-stompers like to laze at. I, I saw a really weird looking lion. Big and weird shaped, and I was worried the gator woulda seen a cub and tried to eat it. Dad woulda got it right away but...I'm not big enough." She huffed, angry with herself. Harbinger | Talus He looked confused, "T-T-Talus," He had to pause between his words every so often and drink more of the medicine to help soothe his vocal cords, "Not, not y-your f-fault, **sip**, N-nothing t-t-to for-forgive, L-Love." 0 players like this post! Raughan | Sunbaked Dappled sun shone through the trees, creating mysterious shadows on sunbaked. The blue sky was dotted with fluffy white clouds that drifted lazily in the gentle breeze, the canary grass in the lake moving with the breeze. Raughan was running back and forth, jumping into the air to try to catch a shrike bird. The pesky being bothering him all day and morning, stealing his food and taking his flowers/trinkets for its nest in a tree Lady | Sleekwater “So what’s the reward! What are we looking…at” she stops, looking at the sight before them. The sun peaks out from behind tree tops, seeing the first rays of the sun grace the land. Before her eyes, the clouds become lit with a fabulous, warm light as the rising sun announces the coming of a new day. “This..this is amazing!” she whispered out as her gaze never left the sight before her, “I can’t believe this is what it looked like all along, the colors are so different…so bright and happy.” Lady gives Harris a quick little nudge on the head before looking back towards the sunrise. “Thanks for showing me.” 0 players like this post! Calida|Sunbaked She puffed her cheeks- playfully whining. " I don't need a nap! I'm a big girl now mama! I wanna meet hiM! Please please please??" She insists- bouncing up and down and giggling. Hyena|Sunbaked She chuckles- watching the young cub. She was excited to help raise her with her mates. She was happy with the cubs she had of course- loved them to the moon and back. But she also wondered how it would be to grow a cub or two inside her. In truth- she usually took the post outside the brood mothers den because she thought the idea of pregnancy and childbirth were exciting. She'd seen so much death. Cause so much as well. The idea of creating life thrilled her. But she was still content with what she had. More than content honestly. " Well let's go then shall we?" She invites- leading the two out and to where Ra was. " Ra! I have a surprise for you!" She calls out to him. Calida gets a bit shy- hiding behind Shadow's leg as they come to a stop. As much as she was excited to meet her brother- she also worried he wouldn't like her. Harris|Sleekwater He fakes confusion. " The heck are you talking about? You mean the sunrise? Yeah it's whatever- but I was talking about THIS view" He playfully remarks- gesturing to himself before chuckling. " You're welcome. I'm glad I got to be the first one to show you. Now whenever you think of your first treetop Sunrise you'll have no choice but to think of my nasty mug" He snickers to himself. Shy|Lunar She scoffs- pushing her a bit. There's a small smile on her face that she's doing an awful job of hiding. " You're fresh. You think you can cuddle up to some lioness in front of me and not expect me to.." She stops herself- sucking in her lips and looking away. She clears her throat before speaking in a meeker tone. " Be.. miffed..?" She finishes- still not looking at her. Yeah, I’m fine with it, Juno! )) Petra | Sunbaked She sneaked around the pride, eyes widening as her gaze lays upon Calista and her cubs, relaxing as she sees the sight of the mother and her cubs, even more at the look upon Calista’s face. She quickly makes her way over to the lioness, making a few noises as she enters the den, knocking against the walls of the den as she trips, catching herself just before falling. After dusting off her coat, she looks up at Calista, an embarrassed look on her face. “ Hey, Princess. ,” she says with a grin, clearing her throat before looking around the pride. It felt odd- as if something was missing. Coy Fish. She hadn’t seen or heard him ever since she entered the pride. She sighed, walking over to Calista with a few small steps. A part of her enjoyed his disappearance- basking in the thought he could have gone missing, ran way, even better, killed. Although, a part of her ached. It was a sick, twisted feeling in her stomach. Coy Fish had raised her, trained her, taken her in when her family abandoned her, but he also abused and hurt her. She tried brushing the feelings away, looking over at the cubs to distract herself. “ And who’re they? ,” she asks Calista, a toothy grin upon her muzzle as she speaks. 0 players like this post! PFT but you know who COULD BE) Bongo|Sunbaked Bongo couldn't help but overhear- he was currently tending to the nesting not too far away. He frowns- waddling over to the two and patting Talus's paw in order to get his attention. He furrows his brow. Not sure if they'd understand sign language. So for now- he wrote in the slightly soft dirt on the ground for a bit- he drew what looked to be a check, an arrow pointed to Talus and a leaf. He blinks- wondering if the lion would understand his sentiment. All things considered- Talus had done well considering he had also been injured. The dwarf lion just couldn't express it. Angel|Sleekwater he sighs- feeling bad about disturbing Dayla- his mood shifting when he see's Okapi and her bird. He chuffs and prances over to her as he speaks. " Morning! Any news?" She was excited to meet her new son as well. Harbinger | Talus He couldn't speak without pain, so he just grabbed Talus and forced him into a hug as he attempted to purr. Even though it hurt, he kept it up. Zu | Lunar | Shy "Cuddle up?" She hops off of Shy and sits down beside her with a happy sigh. She leans against Shy as she watches the ceremony take place. "Ya mean Jester?" She chuckled softly. "She's like a sister to me, Shy, of course I gotta hug her when I finally see her after years." She then turns to Shy with a mischievous smirk, "Why?
