Shadow Blossoms

She giggles, clinging onto Hyena and purring so heartily that it nearly sends her sliding off. When they stop near Okapi, she ungracefully gets to the ground and worriedly goes up to Okapi.

"Are you alright?" She tilts her head, looking into the healer's den, "Did the healer upset you?"

Domino|Sunbaked

He raises a brow before smiling cruely. " You know... I could have let you die. Oh mighty one. Your mate here didn't even KNOW you were dying till it was almost too late" He remarks coldly.

" And I find it funny. That you think I wouldn't be cross with somebody who leaves his pride behind. That includes you. You're both cowards. Only here to reap the benefits of what others have done for you. " He rants- his face loosing its usual smile. His eyes were wide and eerie.

His tone was dry and dull.

" And When I pointed this out. I was met with violence by your paw. You need not thank me for doing my job. But do not claim that my remarks and anger were out of hand. You have not seen what a pride looks like when it falls to illness. You both will never understand that your actions could have caused a horrid scene I've had to see over and over again. You're both dirt." He sneers.

" The gods and others may forgive you. But I don't. I don't forgive such reckless selfish behavior. But what do you two care hm? My forgiveness is nothing but a crumb of food is it not? " He ends- looking to both of them with disgust.

Hyena|Sunbaked

She sighs- frowning. " Please don't let him get to you. He's a jaded bitch who looks like he was dipped in tar." She snarls.

" We were wondering actually... if you could guide us to your pride?" She asks sheepishly. " We're both friends of Angels." She informs

Cloudjumper, Tiptail | Sunbaked

Cloudjumper squeaked a bit when she was picked up, not used to such gentle handling as she had been getting these past few days. Everyone in the Other Den had been too scared to pick her up, as if worried that they would disturb her already broken skull. She hated being treated like a fragile mouse.

Tiptail trusted this strange all white lioness, but hated being seperated from his sister. He jumped up with a mewl and raced after them, hiding between Ghost's paws when they passed Dove. She still hadn't moved except to turn her head to glower at them as they moved.

Talus|Harbinger, Domino

*Warning: S*icidal thoughts, thoughts of death*

Talus...just sort of gives up. He doesn't fight back. Instead, he says,

"You're right. About me, not my mate. But you are right about me. You think I don't know that?..." He looks away "You think I don't loathe myself? Do you think I haven't wished I had stayed and died?" He paces in front of him "But I didn't. And now I'm here. And I want to help and atone for what I did. But if you refuse to let me, you're just as bad as me. You're just as selfish if you put your hatred for me ahead of the help I can offer this pride. Either let me help them or kill me, I don't care anymore. But don't just stand there and bitch at me and your own patients." He sits in front of him.

"Perhaps it's better if I don't." She looks back at them, tears in her eyes "Don't worry, I'll go back and tell them. You're here and you're alive and running a wonderful pride complete with a healer who gets his rocks off on being cruel to his patients. What a wonderful place you've all made here." her words don't really have the bite of any sort of hatred. She sounds more upset than angry. Is this just how prides are? Would she be making a mistake, going back to Sleekwater?

He starts laughing, he can't help it. He had never seen a pride fall to illness? Tears roll down his face at the memories as he stares at Domino as if finally seeing him for the first time. His laughter slowly dies off and his face is lined with sorrow.

"I d-do not kn-know illness?" His voice is low, almost inaudible, "Then you, you don't know h-healing." He stops as soon as Talus begins speaking, eyes wide and breathing heavy. He would never take that choice away from someone. Hell, he had often fantasized about ending his own life and escaping all this torment when Coy was king. But he was a coward. If Talus died...

Basil | Celestial Dawning

He walks around his pride, having left Fox’s side to quickly check on his patients, picking up his pace upon hearing Kabir’s loud and booming roar, followed by the other pride members roars and cheers- signaling a near end to the day’s festivities. Cursing under his breath- he finally enters the den, looking down at his patients as he breaths heavy breaths of air. “ Well. ,” he mutters, placing a paw to his head as he lets out a lengthy sigh, the sound filling up the den, echoing across it’s decorated and smooth walls. “ Looks good to me. ,” he finishes his sentence, taking one last glance at the injured lions before leaving the den, making small prints into the muddy dirt as he hurries back to the main area of the pride.

Kabir | Celestial Dawning |

He walks around the pride, a large grin upon his face, etched onto his mouth after having smiled for so long, looking up at the dark sky, moon still shining upon his pride, illuminating the trails leading back to the lion’s dens. The festival had seemed to die down, but still, the dancers danced, and the singers sung, before Kabir decided it had gone on for long enough- and to continue the festivities the next day, clearing his throat before letting out a roar, signaling to his pride the near-end of the festival. The lions looked at their king, letting out roars and cheers before the festival finally ended, traders packing their bags, wanderers collecting their things, including Leto, the lioness having slipped away with a few stolen trinkets. A golden goblet from a tradesmen could get her far- along with a few pieces of jewelry, perhaps she could gift them to Neoma and her cubs once she saw them again. Leto hopped onto the border of the pride- stopped by a scout, flinching at his roars. “ W-Wait! ,” she says as she pulls her paws up, signaling at her face. “ Remember me? ,” she says with a chuckle, letting out a sigh of relief as teh scout lets her go, recognizing her face from letting her into the pride earlier, Leto quickly setting off to Sunbaked.

Blair | Sunbaked

She hadn’t had a break in what felt like an eternity, having had a walk around the pride- although, she admitted, it felt odd, as if someone’s presence had been missing. The very lion she hated and loathed- Coy Fish, that bastard. She smiled as she realized she was yet to see the lion, even after walking about a mile or so around the pride. “ Good riddance. ,” she mutters to herself as she slumps over a large, smooth rock, looking up at the sky as she dozes off, a small smile lingering on her face as she quickly falls into a deep slumber, exhausted from having to take care of the cubs for so long.

Domino|Sunbaked

Domino is quiet. He dosen't speak. Simply stares. There's a long while before he speaks again.

" Neither of you can help me. Not even the gods can." He glares to Harbinger. " You may know illness as well. Which only makes it even worse that you fled. Knowing what might happen. I don't blame you two for leaving. For thinking about yourselves. And I honestly don't care if you loath yourself. And I will not harm anyone here. Despite if I dislike them or not. That is not a healers way." He remarks to talus.

" Think me cruel. And mean. But love is an illness.. I will never. Have again." He speaks softly- gritting his teeth.

" I will not stop you from helping me. And I haven't." He remarks. " You simply didn't know how to do certain things." He hums. He throws down a small pack of herbs for Harbinger.

" If you wish to hate me. Then hate me. I've been the scapegoat pleanty of times. " He laughs dryly. " I say these things not to guilt you. Simply to explain why I don't trust either of you." He remarks.

Hyena|Sunbaked

She sighs- looking to her with a bit of sadness. " p-please? We haven't seen him in forever.. We haven't spoken in years. I promise that what my healer says does not speak for our pride. He's simply mean." She tries to explain.

After the sun had risen, she woke up, having no recollection of her past dreams, only of her earlier nightmare. She let out a small groan, her voice strained as she let out the small sound, stretching out her limps, letting out a loud yawn before looking over too Calista and the cubs- greeting Jasmine with a large, toothy grin, shaking a paw at the cub, doing the same to the rest of the cubs. “ ‘Morning, princess. ,” Petra says as she walks over to Calista, smiling down at the cubs with the same grin she wore before, before returning her attention back to Neoma, giving the lioness a much more kind, comforting smile.
