This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. That is just how my lore works for my pride  Prides: SUNBAKED - Mongoose FAZING ECLIPSE - Turkey CAVEWALKERS - Alex BARLEYPLAINS - Tea LUSHPELT - Frostblight CELESTIAL/LUNAR - Avi Wanders/Rogues Death's Escaper (Death) (Turkey) Ꮺ Miles (Miles) Jester (Self Proclaimed Prophet) (Rayb1rd) Angus (Tea) Milzos (Randomness) Tiny Nutbar (Randomness) Ghost (Tea) Marlboro (Alex) Bubbling Spring (Spring) (Ryoka) Eagle (lilpeep) Zebra (Zeb) (lilpeep) Faron (Tea) Major NPCs: - Albion: a mandrill who keeps a few falcons and bats he has trained to help see if anyone has mutations and the size of the litter to be expected. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Domino|Sunbaked He feels himself start to shake. Trying to smile- as if to forget that this ever happened. But everything started to hit him like a truck. He laughs- his eyes growing dewy. " I lost.. so many people." He grins despite it wobbling on his face. " One's I loved. I pray to the gods to find no answers.. so it had to be me.." He sniffles- biting his lip. " I'm a wandering healer for a reason.. " He hiccups- laughing at himself slightly and pinching his nose bridge. " Maybe I'm envious. " He laughs through his tears, holding himself. " Lions are so free to love whoever they wish.. but when I try to.. They're ripped away. Again and again and again!" He croaks. " It's no excuse for my attitude.. but.. can you blame me?" He looks to them- still shaking. " I don't.. want to kill anybody anymore.. I don't want to watch them die under my paws as I scramble and cry trying to fix them. Domino|Sunbaked He shakes still- not looking at him. " I killed. 7 prides. " He remarks through a quivering tone. " 7." "The gods would lead me to a pride with an illness... and in the beginning things would go well. I would heal them. The pride would start to thrive. And then somehow or another I would get attached to a lion in the pride.. and once I did.." he cuts himself off looking to his paws and wincing. " My cures wouldn’t work any longer.. My healing would be.. ineffective. Like some sort of curse." He snarls- ashamed of himself. " And it always ended the same horrid way. The pride would become angry with me. Shout that I'm their healer. That I was a liar.. a fool. A curse. And then the lion I loved.. would die. In the most agonizing of ways. " He laughs- weeping. " The things they said as they took their last breath haunts me. They'd say goodbye.. or curse me.. or- wished that I had been in their stead. " He remarks, laughing to himself again. " And then I'd run. I'd run far away. Like.. like a coward." He admits. "So. I stopped loving people.. or at least I tried. Pushed them away with cruel remarks. Flat out reject them. Domino|Sunbaked He shakes his head. " I.. can't. Not now. The last thing she wants is to hear my excuses and sadness. " He scoffs- standing to his paws. " This is just who I have to be. It's not up to me." He sighs. " I'll get used it one day I'm sure." He shrugs- starting to walk out- when he does, he feels a huge weight slam against his body. Something heavy and angry standing on him. He usually would be thrilled to see Hyena- but she looked royally ticked off. " WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY TO THAT GIRL??" She roars at him- fangs inches from his face. Domino doesn't respond- his mind frozen by emotion. " Why I let you stay here is beyond me Domino! Hyena|Sunbaked She picks him up by the scruff- which makes him yelp a tiny bit. Before dragging him to Okapi and throwing him down. She smashes her heavy paw on his head- making him bow before speaking. " My healer has something he wants to tell you. Right? Domino?" She sneers. The healer nods- which makes Hyena raise her paw. He sighs- clearly ashamed of all of this. " I'm.. sorry that I said all those things... I'm just.. bad with people. Sometimes I take jokes too far.. but still- that doesn't excuse what I said. " He sighs- sitting down and dipping his head. " You seem like a lovely woman. And a very strong person as well. I was stupid to say those things. I'm truly.. sorry." He remarks whole heartedly. Hyena seems satisfied with his answer. " And uhm-" he says, taking something out of his mane. " Er. Your bird was rather fond of perching on this branch.. so I thought you should keep it." He holds the semi large branch out to her. " I also.. tied some herbs for him on it.. so he can heal faster." he adds on- eyes darting around. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Limbo | Sunbaked He squirms within his mother's grasp, grumbling about he wanted to walk, not be carried. Shadow Blossoms | Sunbaked She watches Hyena drag Domino away and turns back to look into the healer's den. It is a bit shabby in comparison to her old medicine den back in LushPelt, but it is fine enough she supposes. The small little water fall and lazy river are definitely something to be envied, and the algae and glow worms that spread across it add an almost ethereal beauty to the water. She notices Ghost and the two misshapen cubs and feels her heart break. "What happened?" She trots towards Ghost, whispering under her breath. 0 players like this post! Like? |
