This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Lucie | Mangrove “Oh don’t be all smart, he’s gettin older now and should have more freedom. Soon enough he’ll be your age…move out..have a mate…won’t want his mama callin him her baby boy.” She paused with realization, almost an internal doom and dread spread upon her. Her baby was growing up, sure she could have more but after her last litter she want so sure anymore. “Either way he’s growin up and needs to explore on his own, like how we all did when we were his age.” She continued to turn the meat on the fire, adding more herbs and fire wood. (I honestly don’t have an idea for his mom, mostly also because Lucien already treats him as her own) Lady | Mangrove She huffs- “Fine but you need to listen to me word for word alright harris?……I’m sneaking you into my pride!!” Lady mocks jazz hands in a tada as she smiled ear from ear, wanting to show her boy her home. “We’ll just have to fix ya up a bit so you don’t get caught, maybe some mud on your fur? Harris|Mangrove He blinks. A bit confused before taking in what she was proposing. He wanted to scream HELL NO, but. She looked so excited. He couldn't just turn her down.. this was important to her. He had to go. No matter how much his body and mind were roaring for him, not to. He smiles- trying his best to seem excited. " Oh wow! That's amazing! I can't wait! Lady | Sleekwater “Ahhh I knew you would like it!! All we have to do is just make your pelt less interesting, not that I don’t like it, it’s a cute coat but no one in the pride has one- you know what I mean!” Lady rambled as she walked towards the trees, leading harris to a puddle. Sticking her paw into the water she squirmed around, gathering mud from the bottom. She shivered from the cross texture of the mud as she gently rubbed it on harris. “There now you look…..browner? Alrighty I think we’re good now, come on I’ll show you the way up.” She walks into the tree line, going over roots and vines before she stopped at the entrance. “Welcome to my home!” 0 players like this post! Harris|Mangrove He follows- his face getting irritated at the sudden mud on it. He huffs- letting it dry so it seemed like some very odd brown patches. He follows her- forcing a smile that grows hard to keep with each step forward. Gods. It was crawling with lions. He froze in place- the same cheesy smile framed on his muzzle. He looked to Lady- who seemed to be waiting for a reaction. " WoW!" he states with a nervous laugh. He whistles- rubbing the back of his neck. " S-sure is a big place! I think I could get lost here! Aheh.." He offers. He grows even more terrified when he sees a huge looking Lion with a golden pelt approaching. " Lady! There you are." It seemed this was the king of the pride- he was decked out in all kinds of gear, and was only slightly bigger than Lady. He tried not to shake in fear at him. Angel raises a brow to Harris before looking back to Lady. " Your mentor was looking for you! Said she didn't see you at class today. We've been concerned. " He scolds lightly. Turning back to Harris. " And who's this?" He remarks. Angel felt like he could recall his face slightly.. but it was hard to keep track of so many people. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Limbo | Sunbaked He wishes he didn't need the support, but the muscles in his back legs are weak and the added lopsided weight of the useless apendages only makes everything even more difficult to balance. He's huffing and puffing with exertion after only a few minutes of teetering about. He is so focused on his task he doesn't even seem to notice the world around him. Shadow Blossoms | Sunbaked She chirrups, "I'll go grab Calida!" She turns around to run off towards the royal down but stops when she sees her two cubs already behind her. She giggles and scoops up first Calida and then Ra into a hug. "We are going to see your grandma and uncle!" She's purring and dancing between her paws. She couldn't wait for Dolly to see just how much Calida had grown! Mudstone | Mangroves "Grandmaw found a babe." She calls out in a sing song voice as she prances into the food den. She twitches her nose at the scent of what her mom is cooking, already salivating. Her tail swayed happily behind her and she pranced over, getting in the way almost immediately. Still paranoid from the slavery and the torture, you know mom things.” She bumps her elbow into his shoulder before looking around. “I promise I’ll be there for tomorrow's lesson! Besides who needs a lesson when you are bigger, stronger, and beefier than anyone!m. Also, have you been getting smaller?” She sits back with Harris, a strained smile across her face. Lucien | Mangrove “Oh let the boy live a little, you used to do that too when you were his age. You know one time you tried to fight a ward hog that got out the loose cause of your uncle? That thing screeched and you came running up the hills screaming, “THE PIGS AFTER ME, ITS AFTER ME!!” She fakes out a yell as she laughs. When mudstone cried out babe Lucien almost dropped the meat as she set it onto a stone tablet. “What you say? A babe? Oh, poor sweet thing. I’m making some Dik Dik, don’t go eating pieces off! Hyena|Sunbaked She smiles. She recalled Dolly fondly. She was excited to see her more properly this time. She gathers a few things from the med den and the royal den as Shadow Blossom readies the cubs. She packs herself up and walks to Okapi- guiding the others towards her. " Alright! We should be ready. " She smiles. Her heart buzzed in her chest. " Oh! Wait-" She remarks to herself, padding back into the healing den to speak with Harbinger briefly. " Harb- I know you're recovering but could you and Talus look over the pride while me and my mates are gone? We shouldn't be more than a few days at the most" She explains quickly. Calida|Mangrove " Yay! Uncle Angel!" She cheers- hoping up into the small carrier Shadow had made her- holding out bother her paws for Ra to take so they could share the space. " Come on Ra! Jumbo | Mangroves He rolled around in the wallowing pit, annoyed with all the biting flies that flitted around. They were always so active during these warmer days and the only way to keep them off was to get all muddied. He hated it. He watched his mother slowly lower herself into the mud as well, sighing as if she enjoyed it. He rolled his eyes and trotted over to her. "Yew want some help?" He sat besides her. "Hmph," Grandmaw Japser snorted with a smile, "If yew could cover my back, these old bones ain't as good at rollin' as they used to be." Jumbo tutted at her words, shaking his head but helping to cover her patchy fur in a layer of mud. Despite his grouchy attitude and occasional abusive tendencies, he did love his family. He just knew he would be a better leader than a matriarch would be. His mate was most assuredly not cut out for such a life. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Harris looks petrified but manages to come up with an excuse. " W-well I uh, was uh-" He stammered, trying to call what little Lady had told him. " I was a snag’s son.. And I was used as fodder in the war but uh- ran away... then Lady found me" He grins at the end of his lie- hoping it was believable. Angel did not think it was. But he honestly didn't think Harris was much of a threat. Who was he to stop a bit of fun? " Right. Well welcome home Harris. Lady, you're to be on time tomorrow- understood?" He reminds shortly, before dipping his head to Harris in farewell and padding off. Harris exhales- as if he had been holding his breath. Harbinger | Sunbaked His eyes widened, "T-t-take care of, of the p-pride?" He stammers, "I'm, I'm...I can't t-t-take care of my, of myself!" He forces a smile on his face, afraid of being the 'king' for even a few days. But, he shook his head and sighed. "S'long as T-T-Talus hel-helps, I can, I can do it." He gives a strained but true smile, nervous and excited at the same time. Moonlit Dove | Sunbaked She watched the exchange, silently snarling when Harbinger said he could watch the pride. "Useless stuttering mess." She huffed to herself, mouthing the words silently. She forced herself to her paws and shook the stiffness from her bones. "Good luck." She spits at Harbinger before going to trot out of the med den. She needs to get away from those two cubs before they tattle on her. Cloudjumper and Tiptail | Sunbaked Cloudjumper stared at Dove as she moved towards the exit. She then looked at Harbinger, almost remembering something about him or someone who looked like- Coy. The word echoed in her head and she fell back with a small shriek. She cried as she went to hide under the nest. Tiptail was busy drinking some of the fresh water the spirit lady had brought them. She smelled like rainy mornings and fog and he loved it. He jumped with a hiss when his sister fell back crying. Grandpaw Howlite|Mangrove " There yew are little one.. nice and full" He smiles, burping the little cub and putting her down for a nap. He was lucky to find a wandering lioness near the mangroves. She was rather lost and needed directions to the pride next door. He had struck a deal with her, in exchange for directions- he had asked her to nurse the little cub when she could. She was more than happy to give some of her milk as well, giving him a new supply every week. He hadn't told anybody but Jasper, who was hesitant to accept. But it wasn't like they had many other options. He sighs- exhausted. He'd gotten up most nights to tend to the cub, insisting he was fine even when Jasper offered. He yawns- padding out with a groan before walking into the dining room for dinner. " Smells good hun" he praises Lucien in a yawn. Domino|Sunbaked He shrugs. Not really sure himself. Mudstone | Mangroves She stuck her tongue out at Sage, but hopped down to walk over towards him. She circled her cousin, humming to herself before sitting besides him. She had a shit-eating grin on her face and winked at him. "Who's the lucky lion?" She giggled, taking in his demeanor and just how groomed he was in comparison to his usual self.
