Raughan | Afyasi

“HEY NO FARE YOUR CHEATING!” Raughan yelled as he watched calida run out of the den to the advisor’s den. With a huff Raughan turned towards where his mothers were, regretting his action when seeing them kiss.


“Ewwwwww, not in front of me! My eyes oh my eyes!” He teased out as he covered them, backing up before tripping and falling into his back. With a slight oof he gathered himself off the floor, dusting himself off before looking to where the adults where.


“Ima go pack the stuff! Bye!” He scampered off towards the advisors den, a light trail of dust following.


Geralt | hot springs

“It is nice to finally be back together again as a whole and to be back home. I haven’t visited this place in a while, maybe when I was a teenager.” He dunked a little wooden bucket into the hot water, bring it up as the water dripped down from it before dumping the hot water onto himself.


“Ahh now that feels nice, to be clean. I’ll probably need a cut soon tho, furs getting to long. I’ll ask mother.” He muttered out as he applied his own soap, a yellow almost cream shade bar, creating scent less soapy sudds.

Grandmaw Jasper

She finally releases Howl's body, achingly getting to her paws as she moves over to Dayla. As her eyes land on the heart, she gasps and clasps a paw over her muzzle. She looks to the strange lioness with wide eyes, unsure if she is allowed to take such a precious gift. She feels more at ease somehow, as if Howl himself was still there and reassuring her that he would be waiting for her. She sniffles, opening her arms for a hug and looking at Dayla.

"Are, are hugs okay?" She whimpers, trying for a smile through her pain.


Shadow Blossoms | Afyasi

She giggles, tail twitching rapidly as she coyly rolls onto her back, displaying her stomach just for Hyena as she winks. "I'll hold you to it." She's learning how to properly flirt.


Harbinger | Afyasi

He snorts, blushing at such a public display of intimacy. The anxious king clears his throat, turning away from Shadow Blossoms and quickly following Tiptail towards the healers den. He doesn't reply to Hyena nor react to anything else. He's flustered.


Smokes | Deadlands

She groans in content as she leans into Nyoka and pushes into him. She forgot how much she loved being groomed. Her back paw kicks at the water as his barbed tongue runs over a patch behind her ears and her tongue lolls out of her mouth. Nyoka would be able to feel Smokes' soaked tail wagging best it could with all the watered down fur on it.

Nyoka|Deadlands

He tends to her for a little longer, purring at her affections before pranking her. " AAAAaaAaAAND DUNK" He exclaims- pushing her under the water for a moment and lifting her back up with a snort- starting to paddle away from her. He grins to Geralt, narrowing his eyes.

" You're both pretty hot when you're all wet like this" He jokes with a wiggle of his eyebrows- clearly back to his usual state.

Hyena| Afyasi

She blushes- a wide smile on her face as she giggles, still flustered by the lioness despite how long they had been together. She blows her a kiss before trotting along side harbinger. She starts to worry a bit- hoping Lash wasn't too mad at her for taking his spot.

Domino| Altars

He smiles, feeling comforted by the sight of the little frog, he helps guide it back into a small pond with a smile. He sighs, answering Bongo at last.

" I'm too scared, Bongo.. I don't know who or what is fucking me over.. but as much as I love them. I'm petrified of them.." He admits- dropping his smile.

" You already know why... It's just safer to do what they want.. Even if it's to be their plaything." He grumbles- brows furrowing. He hadn't even spoken the name of the place- still calling it Sunbaked from time to time simply because of the distaste he had for the new patron. He only did what he had to at her altar- feeling shivers down her spine whenever he touched it.

Dayla|Mangrove

She smiles- wrapping her into a hug.

" More than ok." She reassures her, petting her head slightly. " The dead are a funny bunch. They never truly leave you alone- even if you want them too." She remarks with a small dry chuckle.

Salem pouts- sticking his tongue out at her. She takes the soul stone from Jasper for a moment- fashioning it into a small tail charm with a nearby vine. She then helps fashion it to her tail.

" There. Now you'll be able to hold tails forever." She remarks with a chuff- looking at the others.

Harris mouths a thank you to her- feeling eased by her somehow. As if Grandpaw Howl was standing right beside her- his eyes reflected in her own. They seemed to have that same warm gleam to them, despite the thick veils that covered them.

Geralt | Hot springs

“Hot?? Ah well um yea, thank you.” He stuttered out, getting caught off guard from the joke. Still having a pile of soap in him Hel ray quickly dunked himself into the water again before coming back, fur now pulled away from his face.



Lucien | Mangrove

She smiles at the interaction, nodding her head towards Dayla in thanks. Although she still was saddened by howls sudden death she felt more happier.

Grandmaw Jasper | Mangroves

She leans into the hug, imagining that maybe a little bit of Howl is hugging them both. She can still feel the sharp pain in her heart of loss, but she is more accepting of it now. As Dayla fashions the tail charm and secures it to her thick tail, another shard of her heart settles back into place. She can almost feel Howl's tail wrapped around her own, an anchor to this world.

"My tether..." She murmurs, gently cupping the gem in her paw as she gazes tearfully at it. She then turns back to the unfilled grave, taking a deep breath before shakily trotting back to it.

"Save a space for me, my earth, I feel my time is creeping closer." She whispers, scooping up a pawful of dirt and gently throwing it onto the tail of the body. Lucien had already placed some lilies besides Howl's head and paws, some moss pillowing his head and agates sprinkled around to outline his form. Jasper turned back to the rest of the family, then to Dayla as well.

"We must send him off, or the land may not reclaim him." She then resumed tossing pawfuls of dirt into the grave. Though she had never been taught of an after life, Jasper had grown up on the belief that all bodies returned to the world when they died. The soul would take root and grow into something splendid to show that they had been accepted. She cast her eyes to the twisting vines that snaked from her mother's grave over to her father's, where a small crown of thorns bloomed almost year round. She wondered what Howl would grow into. A bittersweet smile hovered on her muzzle as she thought of what wonderful plants Howl would grow from his own soul.


Smokes | Deadlands

She was just beginning to release all of that tension when she was drowned. Sputtering and swinging, she barked as she resurfaced, playfully lashing out where Nyoka had been. Her fur was plastered to her body, completely obscuring her eyes as she laughed.

"You're a bastard!" She yipped, doggy paddling over best she could.

Harris+Dayla|Mangrove

Harris sniffles- despite still aching with grief, he felt better about burying his old man- shoveling in bits of dirt with Dayla and the others till The grave had been fully buried. After they pat the soil down back, Dayla shuffled around in a rather large bag that had been strapped at her side.

" I keep tombstones on hand. Cause. Ya know." She shrugs, seeing the act as rather normal. She plants the stone at the head of where Howl had been buried, a warm breeze drifting through the mangrove after the fact. Dayla hums- looking to Harris, she smiles- nudging Jasper and whispering to her.

" Maybe I'm crazy- But I think Your mate's gift to Harris was that happy shine in his eyes. " She smiles lightly. Harris's eyes hadn't change drastically- but when he smiled towards the grave- his eyes twinkled just as Howl's would have.

Nyoka|Deadlands

He cackles stepping out of the pool with a slight shiver, shaking out his pelt and smoothing it over with his tongue- his coat regaining it's luster and deep red hue. His eyes had turned back to glittery and captivating as he turned back to gaze at his mates with love.

" So, You're mothers a bit blunt hm?" He teases Geralt- sinking down onto the ground and rolling onto his back with a chuff. His voice no longer dull nor broken- instead having the same velvet tone as usual.

Hyena|Healers den

She took a breath as she stepped into the Healers' den, charmed at the sight of Lashpaw and his family- she clears her throat before speaking.

" Hey Lash. Looking pretty good, Like I've said- despite all of Domino's.. quirks, He's a damn good healer" She laughs slightly, taking a seat near the group, leaving enough space for Harbinger.

" Little guy told us you wanted to see us? " She asks, pretty certain about what he wished to speak of.

Geralt | Hot springs

“Yea but she means well, it’s just how she behaves. To her and the others it’s just how things are, they don’t sugar coat.” He stands from the hot spring as the water trickled down from his soaking for and into the cold floor as he stepped out.



“She does like you both I know that for sure or she wouldn’t allow me to see you two. I think the only thing we have to worry about is me going back to where I used to live, I haven’t clean in there for ages and who knows what they’ve done to it, maybe in of my sisters live in it.” He questioned as he shook himself to get rid of any excesses water before laying down besides Nyoka, grooming himself.

She looked over at Harris at Daylas words. Jasper smiled, wiping away her tears. “We’ll make proud.”


Smokes | Deadlands

She remained in the water, standing in the shallowest area so she didn’t have to swim. “Blunt is one word for her.” She grumbled, still upset at how she had been snapped at.

Lashpaw and Family| Healers Den| Asyfai

He startled a bit when Hyena spoke, so absorbed in his family that he didnt notice their enterance. Giving one last squeeze to Bristle he unwraps the cubs from his mane. He nods to Hyena before looking his cub in the eyes, "Bristle, i want you to go wth your Mama, The King, Hyena, and I have somethings to talk about. I promise you can come back later."

Rustruff watches Bristle shake his head and sniffle and she gathers him up close to her side, giving him a small lick before leaning over to give Lashpaw a slightly bigger one. "Dont worry cub-mine, well be back for dinner." she says to the cub softly befoer stearing him from the den. She stops at the enterance and nods to her mate, she trusts him to make the right choice.

Watching his family leave the healers den he smiles softly before turning back to Hyena and Harbinger. "First, let me say i dont take offense that you stepped up as Advisor when i wasnt able to. If you want the position its yours. I cant fight or defend a large terratory with only three limbs, i know im weaker than before." he says before taking a big breath and letting it out.

"Harbinger, as King you are well within your rights to kill me, and i wouldnt stop you. I know the way i treated you was unkind, and even cruel. I can only say im sorry. Coy's Bloodlust gets to us all at some point, and i turned a blind eye to a lot of bad going ons while he was King. If that is your judgement than i ask you let Rustruff and Bristleback stay, that had no part in my wrongdoings and i would ask you spare them and suffering." He sighs softly before looking at the pair of them. He shakes his head and rubs his snout with a paw before bighting at a claw.

He speaks his request softly and bows his head, knowing that he has no right to ask for such mercy. "If youd be agreeable, i though i could go the the Others den. Maybe become Broodmother, er i guess Broodfather, to them. Many of the things i turned a blind eye to were done in that den, to my shame. I say i care about cubs but did the bare minimum to try and help them. A few nearly picked carcasses and some old bedding was never enough. And look at where that got them. Tiptail has only three legs, the little one with its skulled half caved in can barly do anything last i saw, and all of the others need help in some way. I cant defend a whole terratory anymore, but i can still defend one cave. If you were to let me stay than let that be my penance."

Hyena|Healer's den

Hyena listens with a befuddled expression- shocked to say the least. She lets him finish, a pause filling the space where he had rambled his plea. She opens her mouth to speak, only to close it to think over her words. She sits, closing her eyes for a moment. She then speaks.

" Lash. You following Coy's orders was never a matter of your Morals.. but your survival. " She tries to explain. " I did awful things as well. As you said, I think we all did. But it was not for bloodlust. It was so that the horrid bastard wouldn't kill us in cold blood. " She shuffles closer to him- resting a paw on his shoulder.

" You deserve to do as you wish.. not as a punishment- but simply because you've earned it. For all that we've done, we did a lot to correct it as well." She reminds, gesturing outside towards the oasis.

She looks at Harbinger.

" It's not my place to say that everybody will forgive you, what others decide their opinion of you is up to them. As our actions can be explained by our past- but not excused by everybody they’ve affected. " She mentions- not wanting to forgive Lash for Harbinger. He'd have to do that on his own.

" But as far as I'm aware- you're much more than some guilty criminal. You're my friend Lash. We didn't ask to be thrown into the circumstances we were thrusted into. Coy was manipulative like that. He made us believe that nothing was the matter- and only interested such information to those he knew he could kill without hesitation. Despite our roles in his circus. " She remarks coldly.

" The other den has become a shrine to Moogly, to celebrate her strife. But here's what I think." She looks at both of them as she speaks.

" I think Domino is overwhelmed with the amount of patients he has that differ in age. He told me that children require different medications and treatments to adults. I propose we add Cub healers den to our pride. And with that healers den, we can add a care ward for those who need extra monitoring or help with disabilities. We can make it so the den itself is more suited to those healing and those in need of constant care. We’ll have to find another healer, but I think that won’t be hard."

She offers- drawing her plans out in the dirt. She looks back up to them with a slight smile.

" And I for one think you'd be a perfect Broodfather to watch over said cubs." She finishes, gesturing a paw to let Harbinger speak next, feeling a bit bad she had talked both of their ears off.

Nayla|Afyasi

Nayla was currently helping a few of the cubs hunt frogs in a nearby bog- the broodmothers not far off as she played with them. She giggles as the cubs show off their catches- many of them much too attached to the little bug eyed things to kill them.

Nayla’s ear twitches as she spots Calida and Ra running towards the Advisor den- she feels her heart spike and face flush at the sight of the prince, scrambling behind one of the brambles- the cubs confused on why she was suddenly hiding.

“ Miss Nayla? What’s wrong?” One of them asks, tugging at her tail. She stammers, trying to explain herself and failing.

“ OH! Uh.. I saw.. I saw a spider! Terrified of the things I am.” She chuckles awkwardly- eyes shifting around. One of the other cubs speaks up with a smirk.

“ You’re lying! It’s because you like the prince!” He demands- Nayla bites her lip, face twisted in embarrassment.

“ N-No! I’m.. I..” She fumbles over her words. One of the brood mothers comes up behind her.

“ Alright- enough you lot. Lets head back and get you all baths” She instructs- the cubs groaning in response. Nayla lets out a breath- happy the subject had changed. She looked towards the advisors den once more, her eyes lidding half way as she sighed. Soon following behind the others in a somber mood.

Calida|Afyasi

She hums- finishing up packing for her mothers, annoyed that Ra and her had tied again. She soon poses a question to him- mind wandering as it often did.

“ Hey Ra! I have an idea..” She remarks mischievously. “ While mom and mama are out we should get the other adols and go to war with the jackals! They’ve been sniffing around our borders and shitting everywhere! I think it’s about time we lead a battle!”

She remarks playfully, puffing out her chest.

Nyoka|Deadlands

He hums- still a bit miffed at her attitude towards smokes.. But he supposed it was water under the bridge. He helps Smokes out from the pool and starts to dry her off with his tongue, knowing she can’t very well do it herself.

He speaks between strokes
“ Well I’m sure we can all help you clean it out. Depending on how messy you are that is” He teases slightly with a chuff.

“Battle with the jackals? I thought we weren’t supposed to leave the pride if our mom’s leave??” He questioned as he pushed a bag closed with his two front paws, the bag having bulged out with clothes.


Sitting on the bag Raughan quirked an eyebrow at calida before searching at his neck again, slightly leaning towards the right in frustration.

" Well yeah.. But I mean- it'll be good practice! Think about it! They're just some mangey dogs right? I hard can they be to kill!" She remarks with a scoff- clearly overly confident about her plans.

" Besides! What our mom's don't know won't hurt them" She giggles, clipping one last back shut. She then heads towards Raughan and shuts the bag closed as he places his weight onto it.

“Finnneee, but if they find out I’m saying it’s your idea because it’s is.” He dragged out as he stepped off the bag and threw it into the pile of already packed luggage.


“Alright that should be the last of it, but who would we bring?” He questioned as he walked near the entrance of the den.

She hums- mulling it over before commenting. " I dunno! There's pleanty of adols that I'm sure would wanna come fight some jackals!" She chirps, peering around before pointing at a dusty yellow she with a blue pendant hanging from her tail. She seemed to be walking off with the other broodmothers

" Hows bout her? She seems the type to wanna rip into some skin" She chuckles- looking to Ra for approval or suggestions.

“Hmmm she looks good, but just make sure she won’t tell the brood-mothers they are hella scary when they are mad.” Raughan shivered at the memory of seeing a brood mother go into a rage by another adol, it sending shivers down his spine.



“We’ll go ask her together and then we’ll spilt off if you want, to gather more adols quicker.” He suggested as he walked towards the female adol with long strides.
