Uchawi: Horizon had been hoping Bastet would show up again. She had been glad to have someone to talk to while she was watching Sweet Pea. Well, someone who was female and her age. Today, though, she hardly noticed Bastet coming up at first, her eyes trained on the monstrous omen. She jumped as Bastet addressed them, and Sweet Pea squeaked, her eyes flat to her head and her fur puffed up like a hedgehog. Horizon heard Bastet ask what was happening, and she kept her voice even as she spoke, trying very hard not to further frighten Sweet Pea. She turned and gave the cub a strained smile, but kept her trail curled loosely around her anyway, making sure she knew where the cub was at all times. They both recoiled from the awful stench of the creature, and Horizon glanced at Bastet, looking unsure what she would do. Horizon was a broodmother and nothing more, which meant that while she could protect the cubs, she was no match for such a Hellish creature. But was Bastet? She watched as Bastet stared down the creature, with strength rippling beneath her fur, and she heaved a sigh of relief. Bastet's eyes glinted, and gleamed, and started to glow. Sweet Pea seemed as frightened of this as of the monster, and buried her face in Horizon's fur. Horizon watched with blank astoundment as Bastet spoke in an otherworldly voice, banishing the omen to wherever it had come from. There was silence for a moment, and then Bastet turned and smiled at them. Horizon didn't know what to do for a moment, and then she smiled back uncertainly. "How in the world did you do that?" she asked in wonder, and then said quickly to Sweet Pea, "Honey, it's alright now. It's gone." Sweet Pea unburied her face and looked around in bewilderment. After a few seconds, she creeped out from behind Horizon. "Are you magical?" she asked Bastet with great excitement. She still seemed slightly creeped out by the hill, because she sat behind Bastet and kept glancing at it, but her eyes sparkled with admiration and she couldn't stop asking Bastet questions, quite certain that she must be some kind of divine force.

|The lion had traveled far after hearing of a cub in need of a new home, more than happy to be an option for her to choose from, but as he got closer to the location of the pride, he realized why the cub needed to more in the first place. The land was dry, and he didn't see all that many animals on his way there, worrying him of whether the pride is feeding themselves alright. Once he arrived, he saw two lions who were in the pride, and a group of lions, who based on their scents, were not in the pride, and were probably there for sweet pea as well. After hearing the lionesses words, he glares at the dark... thing... thinking of what they should do before making up his mind.|

"Unless any of us have some sort of power, I suggest we move, for the safety of us all." |He says, only moving his eyes from the omen to check on the frightened cub.| "Hey, don't worry about that thing, omens cant really hurt you, just scare you, so there's no reason to be scared of them anyways!" |He says, putting on his most genuine smile, slightly unsure of his own claim since he was a bit frightened himself, but putting on a brave face for the cub, hoping it would encourage her to stand up and move with the group.|

"Oh my, those omens that the Harbinger has been telling me about....as far as I now there isnt much we can do about them, just hope they dont come any closer to us, it would be safer if we were to move away for the time being." Oil offers shelter to the scared to the scared lions. Quickly pouncing off, he ushers the lions to go quickly as he sees the omens closing in already. Oil seeing Sweet Pea falling behind the others decides to pick her up with his mouth to make the trip much faster.

Nearing a secluded cave he knew of he quickly left them all into the cave, deeming it safe with no omens around to fright them any longer. "I will stay with you all until you feel safe, feel free to ask me anything, I will be at the mouth of the cave keeping watch" He goes to stand guard hoping that they wouldnt come any closer and stay away..

Beau: Horizon Red was very relieved to see Nephthys and Harvest. It felt almost like having her mother and broodmother back, like days when she would be frightened by rainstorms and cuddle close to them. Sweet Pea, meanwhile, moved in close to Amber, just glad to have someone to protect her - maybe she could sense how frightened Horizon was. They all sat quietly, though Horizon tried to make some murmured conversation. Eventually Amber tried to coax Sweet Pea out to play a bit. Sweet Pea made a half-hearted attempt to join he, but kept glancing back at the thing. After a time, though, it simply vanished from their sight. Though there was still unease in the air, everyone began to grow more comfortable. There were traces of nerves in the air as they finally said their goodbyes. (Ticket counted for 9/16/22)

skye: Horizon hustles over to Scarlet Letter ad Coral as soon as they come into sight, bringing Sweet Pea with her. She seems certain that Scarlet Letter, being the huge primal beast he is, can take care of the omen. She sits back with Coral, waiting to see if Scarlet Letter can do anything. She feels bad about doing nothing, about relying on Scarlet Letter, but she's no fighter and certainly no match for whatever that creature is. She's relieved to see that Scarlet Letter is willing to fight, though, and watches him advance on the creature. It turns its red eyes towards him, but as soon as he reaches it, it simply vanishes into thin air, the darkness evaporating with it. Though still nervous, Horizon and Sweet Pea are grateful for Scarlet Letter's help. (Ticket counted for 9/16/22)

Winter: Horizon is glad to have help, and watches the great lion run off immediately towards the beast. He goes straight for the glowing eyes, but it disappears right as he scratches at it, apparently not wanting a fight. With the things gone, everyone feels much safer. (Ticket counted for 9/16/22)

Uchawi: Horizon gave Sweet Pea a reprimanding look. "Don't ask so many questions," she reproached gently, seeing how uncomfortable Bastet was. She still seemed rather awkward and unsure herself, but she knew that Bastet had saved them, and that was enough for her to be grateful. But Sweet Pea didn't really seem to hear her, because she kept on going. Horizon tried to hold a normal conversation with Bastet, and get Sweet Pea not to interrupt, though the cub seemed overenergized now that she knew she was safe. (Ticket counted for 9/16/22)

Dorian_Dane: Horizon saw a great king in a black cloak approaching and, hoping he might be of some help, told him what was happening. He had come to see Sweet Pea, sure enough, and she was certain he would be eager to protect her. He had a certain authority to him, and immediately suggested they move away from the thing. Horizon had thought of it herself, but was unsure whether she was just being silly. She was glad to have a second opinion, and someone who knew better than her if it was really dangerous. As they started to move themselves, the king came over to Sweet Pea, who slunk at Horizon's legs. She looked up at him with big green eyes as he explained to her, and nodded quietly. When they reached the springs at the bottom of the hill, they settled down again. Sweet Pea lingered near Rouge'Mirage admiringly, and began to "practice fighting" with a stick to subtly show him her warrior skills. (Ticket counted for 9/16/22)

Zhāng: "Harbinger?" Horizon echoed quietly, looking at the shadowy beast. She knew what the word meant, but didn't know of any lion or animal named the Harbinger. She simply accepted this, though, and nodded as Oil suggested they move away. She knew the king well enough know to know she could trust him, and she immediately stood and swept Sweet Pea forward. Oil already seemed to know a place to go, so she decided it would be best to follow him. The little green cub stumbled and fell behind, and Horizon paused to go after her, but Oil was already on it. He led them to a cave fairly nearby, and Horizon tucked Sweet Pea next to her, looking curiously and rather apprehensively around the cave. "Thank you," she said to Oil. "You've helped us so much, really. I'm sure we'll be fine now. Thank you for standing guard." She smiled a big smile, her eyes glimmering. They were safe there until the evening fell and Horizon decided it was safe to carry Sweet Pea back home. (Ticket counted for 9/16/22)

|After returning to his pride for the night, not wanting to intrude on the privacy of this pride, the king returned the next day. He soon reached the pride, greeting Sweet William on his way in, while also greeting the king, who he was shocked to see based on how the pride spoke of his absence, in more ways than one. Tho, he wasn't surprised about not getting a response. He greeted a few more residents in the pride before, eventually making his way to where he saw Turquoise Lagoon resting while watching her cub, and sat with her. After hearing of the cubs worry, he spoke.| "I can understand why shes nervous, choosing where to spend your life is a hard choice." |He said, watching the cub dash around. Soon, she grew tired of all the running, going back to her mother to rest for a bit, and the king took the chance to speak with her.| "Hello again Sweet Pea, glad to see you feeling a bit better than you were after the events of the other day!" |He said with a smile.|

|He soon turned his attention to a patch of locust in the distance.| "Hey Sweet Pea, watch his..." |He said as he entered a stalking position, slowly creeping towards the locust. Once he was close enough, he lunged at the horrid bugs with a booming laugh, squashing almost all of them. The few that escaped his grasp were easy pickings for Sweet Pea, who, even tho she was a bit tired, lunged at them happily. After squishing the bugs, the two cleaned themselves off and went back to Turquoise, Sweet Pea flopping down on her paws and Rouge'Mirage sitting beside her. After spending his day within the pride, he could see the sun setting in the distance, indicating that it was time for him to head back home. He said goodbye to Sweet Pea and the others he spoke with, and headed back to his pride, but along the way, saw a cave about half was there. The sun had already set, so he decided to stay here for the night, sending a crow to tell one of his pride members of why he wasn't there, and that he was alright before he eventually fell asleep.|

Coral and Scarlet Letter both are both here today to greet Sweet Pea. Coral happily greats Sweet Pea's mother and purrs "Shes a good kid, whichever pride she chooses will be lucky to have such a resourceful young lion."
Scarlet Letter bowed towards Sweet Pea's mother and nodded in agreement. "Its been a pleasure to be able to meet all of you"
The pair stay for a bit longer watching as Sweet Pea energetically chases the locusts before heading back to their pride.

Nepthys’ is the only one to come today, she give sweet pea a gentle smile, letting her know “it’s okay whoever you choose yknow, when I was helping Horizon pick, it took us forever to make heads or tails of it all. Keep your head up.” She chirps “I’ll be over here if you just want a moment of respite.” The queen adds, trotting off to lounge in the shade.

|The lion was walking through the prides territory when he saw sweet pea, worried about her due to her distressed state. After sitting down beside her, and listening to what had her so upset, he gave her a few swift licks on the head before speaking.| "I know its going to be hard, I had to make a similar decision in the past, back when I was a cub, but I want you to know, no matter who you decide to choose, we all know you will make the right choice!" |He says with a purr before suddenly jumping up to his paws and ushering the cub towards something, specifically, a few lone gazelles.| "Now, lets get you some hunting practice!" |He said before running out, scaring the gazelles so badly that they abandoned one of their young. He used this baby gazelle to help the cub learn how to hunt, eating it together once it was down, and almost entirely distracting her from the decision she needed to make.|
