Bastet stepped out from the thick foliage and smiled at Sweet Pea. She walked up closer to her, before nuzzling her cheek.
"Who knew that cubs grow up so quickly" She chuckled. "There is no rush for you to decide. Come walk with me, there's still quite a lot of time."

The piebald took Sweet Pea on a short stroll down one of the hills, where she picked up flowers and wove them into a beautiful flower crown, before putting it on the cub's head. Then, she gently blew on the flowers, covering them in a golden powder from her breath.

"Now you look like royalty" She remarked with a chuckle.

"Let's not worry about the choosing and go have something fun like you said, how about we go and scare some Dik Dik herds? You should see their faces when we sneak up behind them it's so funny hah!" Laughs Oil as he ushers Sweet Pea off to go and scare herds with him.

Scarlet Letter came by himself today; Coral was busy hunting. He noticed the lionesses and little Sweet Pea, who was getting quite big. He noticed her distressed state and padded over to see if he could calm her.
"Hello there Sweet Pea," he purrs.
"It's going to be so hard to decide," Sweet Pea says. "All of the lions here are wonderful. Let's just . . . let's just do something fun, and I'll think about my decision later."
Scarlet Letter chuckles a bit. "Don't worry about it, whichever pride you decide to join will be great. I'm sure of it. Why don't we go play in the water?"

Albedo walked up to sweet pea with a pridemate, today.
“This is Oreo! She’s a pon! She’ll teach you how to swim, and climb trees!”
Oreo strode over and introduced herself
“My name is Oreo.”
She flicked her tail toward a nearby small tree.
“Come on! Let’s climb that!”
She called the tree with ease and singled for sweet pea to follow

Savannahstar stalks in with his best hunter and best fighter. He looks around for what he wants. “Where is it? I heard them all talking about her.. so, where?” He muttered. He thrust himself to the nearest lion and snarled, “Where is she stupid furball!” He pointed with his paw, and he saw a cub, looking murky. He felt himself soften at the sight of the beautiful cub and, gently walked up. “Hi, I’m Savannahstar. This is Flamefur, and Coalshine. Coalshine is a melanism! I’m a patches! Do you wanna join my pride?? You can play with all the other cubs, you are beautiful!” He purred. He absolutely loves this cub. “Hi.. I could play with others?” She mumbled. “Yes of course! You will be taken care of greatly! Why would we keep you from playing?” Savannahstar replied. “Well—I dunno. Other cubs don’t like me, I guess.’’ She replied softly. Another scary lion stalked in and looked like he wanted to hurt someone. “There that little rascal is! I’m just gonna give you a few major injuries, if that’s ok.” He snarled. With a huge caterwaul, Savannahstar flew himself at the lion. He ripped and ripped the lions fur, until he was SURE he ripped flesh. The other lion yowled and backed away, spitting, “I’m after you! You’ll regret this!” And ran to the trees. Savannahstar wasn’t hurt. “Wow, thanks!” The cub thanked him. “No prob. I am the strongest lion in the forest and I would protect you!”

Beau: Sweet Pea smiles back, looking a little less nervous as Nephthys speaks. She seems relieved remembering that Horizon went through the same thing, and wound up with a pride she loved. "Thanks, Nephthys," she says. "I just don't want everyone I don't choose to be upset. And I don't want to never see them again." She nods to the queen, and goes to speak to other prides. After a little while of playing, she comes to lie next to Nephthys, looking over the kings and gathered pride members. She seems to be contemplating, quietly. (Oh no, I hope you're doing better! I'm so sorry that had to happen to you. Well, that was the last day, so no pressure now. Just rest up. Ticket counted for 9/18/22)

Dorian_Dane: Sweet Pea gave Rouge'Mirage a small smile as he licked her on the head. She was comforted to hear of his own experience making a tough decision like this - it was nice to think that she wasn't the only one, that many cubs struggled with this. She was startled out of her introspection as the great king leapt to his paws. "Now let's get you some hunting practice!" he said, and Sweet Pea laughed at his enthusiasm, standing as well. She had a wonderful time hunting down a baby gazelle and munching on its carcass. (Ticket counted for 9/18/22)

Uchawi: Sweet Pea seemed rather bashful as Bastet mentioned how quickly she was growing up. She was glad to hear her say that she had time to decide. Everything felt like it was moving so quickly. So they strolled along, and Sweet Pea held her head high as Bastet placed the flower crown on her head. She remembered once asking Bastet if she was a goddess, and she smiled as Bastet's golden breath covered the flowers. She modeled the crown, and then plucked a flower and tucked it behind Bastet's ear. "Now you do too," she laughed. (Ticket counted for 9/18/22)

Zhāng: Sweet Pea nodded as Oil suggested they do something fun. She laughed at the idea of scaring the little dik diks, who were so small even the adults looked like babies. And their faces were always hilarious when you snuck up on them. She followed Oil, and they soon found a little herd of dik diks. Sweet Pea snuck up on them, much better at stalking now that she was older, and jumped out to scare one. Its eyes bugged out and it scrambled in all direction. Laughing, Sweet Pea went for the next one. And the next. (Ticket counted for 9/18/22)

skye: As always, Sweet Pea was happy to see Scarlet Letter. She gave him a nervous smile at his purr, though she still seemed stressed. She's glad, though, when he suggests something she loves to do. Though she has to wonder if his wings are a pain to deal with when they get wet, she doesn't bother asking because, after all, swimming is her very favorite thing. She walks over to the water and dips her toes in, then gives Oil a mischievous smile and jumps in with a huge splash. Seeing how soaked he is, she apologizes profusely, but she does seem like she rather enjoyed it. They spend most of the day in the water, and Sweet Pea catches a fish, which she's very proud of. Winter: Though Sweet Pea was still nervous about her choice, she looked at Oreo curiously. She, of course, knew how to swim rather well already, but climbing wasn't her strong spot, and besides, she'd never met Oreo before. "Hello," she said politely. "My name's Sweet Pea." She looked up at the tall tree Oreo had pointed out. It did look extra tall. She puffed herself up, though, and clawed her way after Oreo rather clumsily, nearly falling down twice. Once she got up, unfortunately, she had no idea how to get down. It took quite a lot of coaxing and help for Oreo to get her out of the tree. After that, Sweet Pea suggested they swim instead. She had a much better time of that, and lost five races in a row to Oreo - not that she seemed to mind. (Ticket counted for 9/18/22)

Foxheart: Sweet Pea was more shy around this tough-as-nails king, and quite alarmed when another came storming in. She wasn't sure who he was to be on their territory - someone her useless king would have chased off if he could do anything right, but as it was, she was very glad to have Savannahstar there. The Winner
Looking far more confident than she did the other day, Sweet Pea raises her head, looking at the gathered lions waiting to hear her decision. Her mother and broodmother are with her, sitting behind her for support. "I want you to know I've loved getting to know all of you," Sweet Pea started. "I really wish I could join all of your prides." She chuckled lightly. "But that might be a bit complicated. And so I've decided on a pride. I'm joining Scarlet Letter's pride . . . skye."
