alright everyone sorry for the silence I haven't been rolling bc I've been in a bit of a depressive spiral but I'm doing better today and finally ready for the event this month lmao I will now address you guys one at a time in order of your replies o7 though I will be busy with schoolwork this week so I won't be able to get to these until I've finished all that I can (my instructors unfortunately have been spreading it out so I don't really get actual days off now it's like they don't want me to take any little naps lol)

@fallen (#327834): ack sorry hun but that's not the correct link for the bg image I need the shorter link that goes right to the download page for that image so I can select the size otherwise it'll end up super blurry. wrt the borders there will be some border changes since LD is not consistent in the defaults and my template does not work with only some things changing without a lot of extra time on my part but I'm assuming you mean borderless since most of the page is borderless by default. the pexels image link you chose for caves and stuff is fine since that image will be smaller anyway so you don't need to worry about hunting down a link or anything like with the bg image. for the html box question you had, yes that can be removed I'll just have to tell you which part to remove from the code snippet for them which is very simple.

@Akela (#119137): the bg image you chose is an LD bg so I am obligated to warn you that those are small inherently so it will result in a blurry background on desktop. I am not unwilling to use it, but I always warn any potential clients when they are chosen as I refuse to use any tools that increase the resolution as they are nearly always unethically built. another general warning that while I will take inspiration from your current layout as requested, it will likely not end up looking very similar in the details as your current layout has a lot of contrast and readability issues that go against my personal ethics as a coder so the color choices for fonts and opacity for the main area of the page will likely be much different than what you're used to. I also cannot use playfair display for an entire layout as it is very hard to read at smaller text sizes (being a display font it's designed to be used at larger sizes) so while I can use it for the headers and other larger text, I will need you to choose a different font for the rest of the text or I can pick one with a similar vibe but better scalability if you'd prefer that.

@Nyxxsoup (247600): quick warning about the bg since it's an LD bg it's natively a small image so if I use it for the bg it will look pretty blurry. I'm not against using it if you're alright with that, but I always make sure to double check on those. everything else looks good and just a heads up that the page doll code I use works a bit differently than some other coders so the finished product will come with a code snippet that you can fill with the information for any image you'd like so that you can change it at any time. please lmk if you're cool with the thing I mentioned about the bg img and then we can move forward from there.

@Ashy (#110891): that bg image is from an unapproved source please check my off limits section as directed on the main thread to find image sources I have approved for my commissions. as with the background image, every single additional image you chose is from an unapproved source, and I cannot use them. please read through all my terms before we continue any further.

oh do you have any examples of dens using a lioden bg so i could get a feel for how blurry it gets? if it's not too crazy, i'm cool with it. also the page doll sounds simple enough to fill out, so it being different is ok with me! ^^

edit: just realized my side uses a LD bg lol. i'm fine with it, i dont think its too blurry. it's still readable

@Akela: that's up to you hun like I said I'm not against using an LD bg but if you'd rather have something higher res then I'd recommend checking images from the approved sources listed in the first reply of the thread they won't be exactly the same but unsplash has a ton of super nice landscape nature photos and I'm sure you'd be able to find something with a similar vibe to what you were thinking there and you can take as much time as you need to think on either option

alright all the new images look good but now that that's been remedied, the only remaining issue is that the custom online/offline indicator is not available for basic packages. that's exclusive to premium packages as listed in the package contents section of the thread, so I can either leave the indicator at its default look or you could upgrade to a premium layout.
