Yeah, it's a slog. The only way to gain currency is from fighting snakes and doing the quests... which both take forever, and revolve around fighting, which takes energy you need to fight snakes.

Things definitely changed this event and it's extremely irritating. Either shop prices need to drop or more encounters for currency that don't involve fighting need to happen

As someone who joined last year and this is my first event... I hate it. Straight up, if I joined during this event, I wouldn't have stayed playing Lioden. It's hard even if you do have time, but I also don't have the time to grind so it's especially isolating to those of us who can't. I also don't mind a bit of a grind, but this is a slog...

I'm also wondering if I'm terrible at combat or if the snakes damages are not slightly ridiculous with the constant 16-22. (I mean, I might just be bad at combat, but I feel it's a bit much)

agreed !! The prices are ridiculous when you can only obtain them from fighting snakes - which takes up energy. Not to mention how hard they hit. There really should be other encounters to get KB as this even is extremely grindy and frustrating!

The snakes damage is ridiculous. And maybe its a bug, but I rarely get a "battle buddy". Like only 1/10 fights I get the god to fight with me. Other than that I fight by myself, getting 20+ dmg from the snakes, losing the battle. Thanks Lioden, very enjoyable.

I had also noticed that the battle buddy almost never shows up. It's exasperating. But I have managed to get all the decors I wanted and am now trying to grind for bases.

It's an extreme bummer, and I don't recall it being this bad in past years, I don't know. It used to be one of my favorite event months. But I am relegated to spend my entire time in Explore this month in the Level 1 area because the snakes are too damn overpowered. I even can get my butt kicked in the Level 1 area. This should not be happening. On top of that I am blowing SB on quest resets because the only 2 quests that actually are event currency-profitable are the 10 snakes or 20 enemies which I can battle 20 snakes. Today I spent 250 SB alone on quest resets because it kept going from hyenas to lions back to hyenas. That's insane. At least make it cycle through all available quests before going to one that's already been offered. The fact you can only earn event currency by defeating snakes (or trying to) and turning in the daily quest is already severely restrictive. Plus the bases might as well cost a million dollars.

I don't usually join in the event grind unless I'm trying to reach a specific goal. I've always struggled with this event's quests, but this year Bast keeps jumping back and forth between "battle 15 lions" or "battle large/small non-lion felines." Even grinding, I can't complete the lion quest unless I fight NCLs, and I as soon as I get a particular quest I suddenly don't get enough of the encounters I need using multiple energy bars.

The snakes have been 50/50 for me. I haven't gotten a snake quest yet, but I've been battling them for KB/Scales and I feel like I'm winning at least half the time.

I love the event's aesthetics, but it's a bit too rough for me to really enjoy it properly.

I’m glad I’m not the only one having trouble with this event. The snakes are way OP and the gods are barely any help on the rare occasions they actually join in during a battle. Even participating with two accounts (one using Bast and one using Anubis) it’s nearly impossible to make any kind of profit. I was so excited for the base applicators because some of my favorite bases are from this event, but I’ll be extremely lucky if I even manage to get *one*. It’s just so frustrating. The events are supposed to be fun, but this one isn’t fun at all with the amount of grinding you’re forced to do in order to get anywhere.

The quests would at least be somewhat bearable if the enemies you were looking for actually appeared. I’ll get a hyena quest then all of a sudden hyenas have gone extinct. As if fighting overpowered enemies wasn’t hard enough, it’s nearly impossible to even find them in the first place
