MOST IMPORTANTLY: DONT STEAL THE RPROLES + OTHER 10.there is a cap to how many chars you can have in the rp. it's 3. 11. if you've made it this long and read the rules, pm me GOOSE Student - Ages 16-18 Teacher - Ages 25+ Sophomore - Age: 16 Junior - Age: 16-17 Senior - Age: 17-18 This IS a public rp! Anyone can join! MAIN LORE: Shadow High was created in 1996 originally to contain and train supernatural creatures to stay away from humans, blend in with them, and not cause conflict. In 1999 it was changed to just a normal high school that anyone could attend when the original people who opened the school mysteriously died and it got new owners. How the original owners died is a big topic spread around the school but the teachers can and will punish anyone who mentions it. The school is a two story building with the second story now blocked off as ‘employees only’. The students are starting to wonder what’s up there. PLOT: It’s 2009 and a new school year is starting. This year a lot of kids have moved from elsewhere, and the teachers are keeping a closer eye then ever on the kids. But who doesn’t love the first day of a new school? "Oh," Carmina replied, tilting her head to take a peek below Dakota's arm. She didn't manage to see much of the paper's content anyway. At his compliment, she blushed. "Ah, thank you! Of course I can fly, but not here," she peered up at the ceiling, squinting, "there's not much room." She couldn't find the words to describe it, but she felt that the homeroom was a tad too small for comfort. Glancing back at the canid-eared boy, she answered: "I didn't know what to expect from the school, but it's been okay so far!" Her feathers ruffled slightly at a gust of wind coming through an open window. "Pretty cold, though." She smiled. "Have you enjoyed the school so far?" Dmitri sighed and slumped further back into his chair. Not very teacherly, he thought, but then again, who cared? Tatiana sighed in unision with her older half-brother, then glanced up at him. Dakota chuckled at her comment of the room being small, confined. It probably would be difficult to fly in here. The loud clang of skull on wood spooked him but he recouped fast. The teachers grumbling caught his attention, making him hope from his desk. "I guess I should, check my name off." He mumbled this quickly before approaching the front desk swiftly placed a tally next to his name before hurriedly returning to his seat. Sitting back down, Dakota stuffed the stray paper he had scribbled on into his bag. "I guess it does get kinda cold here." He responded towards Carmina. As for how he enjoyed this school? "I guess I can say it's better than what I anticipated. Everyone, for the most part, keeps to themselves and is otherwise considerate. It's nice to know we all have something in common."
