Anyone can join! MAIN LORE: Shadow High was created in 1996 originally to contain and train supernatural creatures to stay away from humans, blend in with them, and not cause conflict. In 1999 it was changed to just a normal high school that anyone could attend when the original people who opened the school mysteriously died and it got new owners. How the original owners died is a big topic spread around the school but the teachers can and will punish anyone who mentions it. The school is a two story building with the second story now blocked off as ‘employees only’. The students are starting to wonder what’s up there. PLOT: It’s 2009 and a new school year is starting. This year a lot of kids have moved from elsewhere, and the teachers are keeping a closer eye then ever on the kids. But who doesn’t love the first day of a new school? Carmina, too, jumped at the sound of the leporine girl's head banging against the desk, her feathers ruffling. "Goodness!" She exclaimed. That sounded painful, she thought, but in all honesty, she didn't quite know how to approach her about it. At least she didn't look too injured. Turning back her attention to Dakota, she smoothed over her shoulder feathers with a wing, and nodded at his comment about the students. Although... their classmates seemed nice for sure, but what did she share with them? They were all so different from her. It wasn't bad, of course, but it felt like a double-edged sword when she stood out from the crowd so much. "I... well, I don't know for sure what I want yet," she said with a chuckle, "I'll see what the school has to offer and make up my mind then! It's all new to me, you know? Amane wandered around the school,her large hooves clicking against the hard surface as she examined the school’s hallway. Every student should be in class,right? Or supposed to be. A short escaped her lips as she continued her walk,being careful not to bump another any walking student,or lockers. Amane soon thought to herself,what should the students do today for PE? Running was fun for a few of them,while others didn’t really like the fact they had to move around,so the choice was hard. The centaur thought for a while,her mind elsewhere while she walked down the hallway,her tail flicking heavy. Speed,It sounded like the best thing to work on,and it seemed fair for everyone. She knew some of her students werewolves,vampires,or even had wings. So testing their speed should put a workout in for everyone. Caelum upon having all of his birds in the rafters sat down at his desk and waited for his students to show up to his class for 2nd period. He was excited to be teaching some new pupils this year but he was also worried that they wouldn't like him because he was blind and had powers that were considered dangerous 0 players like this post! Dmitri opened his mouth as a student walked out. Well,it was nearly the end of homeroom- no time to whine about it now. "Alrighty, guys. The bells about to ring, so get out of my class. You're someone else's problem now." He packed up his satchel and waited impatiently by the door, ushering his students into the hall. Amane stopped in her tracks,her eyes wandering towards the clock in the hallway. The bell was about to ring! That’s when all of these students walk out,and try to get to their next class. Every now and then students would act up,but Amane would always make sure that didn’t happen,well..often. Finding a decent spot to where she wasn’t in the way of any passing students,she waited for the bell to ring. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Amane waved an “hello” back to the student that waved towards her. These students,this year,seemed way better than the others from years prior;It was rather nice to deal with better people,kids even. Tipping her hat and balancing her weight with her hooves,a wave of students filled the hallway as soon as the bell rung. Good Lord! It was like cattle! Everyone was chatting and walking rather quickly to their next class,It was a mess. A snort escaped her lips. This was how every morning was going to be. 0 players like this post! Like? |

She finally found the homeroom... but everyone was already leaving. Ugh ofc. It was her 1st day and she was already probably in trouble.
