ROLEPLAY PROMPT: You follow the delicious aroma of a fresh kill, leaping over small streams and weaving your way through knots of vines and vegetation. As you peer through a particularly large clump of greenery, you notice a large lioness with her muzzle lowered, tearing into a carcass of some sort. She glances up at you and beckons for you to come closer. "Hello," she says in a cheerful voice. "I'm Amora. Would you like to join my pride?" You realise that she hold no ill intentions, so you crawl closer. As you near, the first thing that you notice about her is her giant stature, easily surpassing that of most adult male lions. The second, her impressive primal fangs. You consider what she has asked, weighing the pros and cons of her request. You stare deeper into her playful pink eyes, and a sense of content fills you. She grins at you. "I'll be waiting near the waterfall for the next week. Gather any lions you think might wish to join, and we can discuss business then. Oh, and you can keep the zebra." With a blink of an eye, she bounds off, leaving you with the carcass. Oh! It was a zebra! You chuckle to yourself, and submit to the growls of your stomach... INFORMATION AND RULES Hey y'all, this is my first group RP thingo ever. I'm kind of new to this game so please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. So basically, this is a RELATIVELY realistic lion pride. By this I mean male lions can serve as hunters and brood mothers, females can be on patrol and can lead the pride, and will probably do things that lions don't normally do because I know absolutely nothing about lions. Also, this pride derives from IceShard's pride (https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429518962). 1. Please be respectful to everyone. That means no shaming anyone/anyone's OC for being colored, white, LGBT+, disabled, neurodiverse, or anything else I might have missed. 2. This is ONLY on Lioden. I don't have/want/need Discord. 3. Please don't plan out a structure for the RP. However, if you want lion/lioness to be mated with another, please check with that person first. 4. Mutations are allowed, just not Jaglions/Leopons/Tigons. 5. Please no magical powers. That's all I can really think of now. I'm going to create an OOC and a place to post a character sheet, and in one week we can start. If I've missed anything please let me know! Amora, her eyes widened, rushed forwards and stood directly in the midst of the *fight*. "No fighting on my territory!" She scolded. "Gwen, I appreciate you standing up for me, but it is not needed. You'll just make things worse. Azure, the same goes for you - thus intruder will not harm your cubs. {I cant be bothered for Azures cubs to be young anymore, so their about a year now *Not a time skip for the rest of the roleplay just her cubs* (Also her cubs pov) Raion tussled with her brother,eyeing the stranger but not paying much attention to the events nearby. in her short lapse of distraction, her brother had managed to pin her to the ground, nipping playfully at her. She growled playfully and went limp, waiting for her brothers grip to soften before she swiped at him, jumping up as he staggered. she sat down, licking her paw and drawing it over her ear, Growing bored 0 players like this post! Obsidian didn’t really socialize with the others as they arrived, the best she could give them was a simple nod of respect in what she deemed their direction. She would listen to the cubs play with each other and remember how her own siblings played with each other and would band together to make her life a living hell. And none of her former pride mates would stop them. In fact, most of them would join in. Even her own mother wouldn’t stop them. The only person who had ever cared for her in that pride had been her grandmother and when her grandmother had died, Obsidian struck out on her own in the middle of the night. She figure down that they would assume that she was just dead. Obsidian’s ear flicked as she did her best to get her head out of her past. This pride was different. It had to be, it has been. They didn’t scorn her when she went out on the hunt. She decided to get up from her spot in a dark corner and move closer to the rest of them. She was tired of being alone but it was hard to trust others after all she’s been through. However, the dark furred lioness knew that she would have to try if she wanted to stay. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Amora noticed Obsidian shuffle closer out of the corner of her eye. She wondered how the blind lioness had managed to get out of the cave without slipping, but that question was for another day. She purposely trod on a twig so that Obsidian would know where the pride was gathered. She also positioned her body so that Diabouls would not be able to harm Obsidian if the urge came over him, for he would need to leap over Amora in order to do that. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Diabouls watched as the blind lioness stepped out from the cave, he stopped grooming himself and leapt down from the rock with a purr. He stopped in front of the queen and rubbed against her teasingly. "Who's this beauty?" Raion plopped down next to her sister, who had been sleeping. She leaned into her sister, sliding down until she was resting on the side of her flank, with her legs drawn close to her stomach. Obsidian heard Amora snap a twig, and kept a smile of amusement back. The Queen must be trying to help her find them. She hadn’t yet explained to them that her other senses were so adept that that wasn’t needed. But before she could try, the male that had been grooming himself leapt down and moved towards them. The sound of fur brushing against fur let her know that he had rubbed against someone, probably Amora, and then approached Obsidian. The lioness was prepared to smack him- claws sheathed as a warning- but sensing the others stand to defend her… she froze. No one had even come to her defense, not even her grandmother had been able to in her old age. It was almost enough to bring tears to her eyes but she held them back and sniffed at this male. He seemed friendly, but she didn’t know his intentions. After a moment she turned away from him and went to lay nearish Azure, keeping a safe distance so as not to alarm the female. She was grateful to her new pride mates for coming to her defense, she just didn’t know how to show them. 0 players like this post! Like? |
