ROLEPLAY PROMPT: You follow the delicious aroma of a fresh kill, leaping over small streams and weaving your way through knots of vines and vegetation. As you peer through a particularly large clump of greenery, you notice a large lioness with her muzzle lowered, tearing into a carcass of some sort. She glances up at you and beckons for you to come closer. "Hello," she says in a cheerful voice. "I'm Amora. Would you like to join my pride?" You realise that she hold no ill intentions, so you crawl closer. As you near, the first thing that you notice about her is her giant stature, easily surpassing that of most adult male lions. The second, her impressive primal fangs. You consider what she has asked, weighing the pros and cons of her request. You stare deeper into her playful pink eyes, and a sense of content fills you. She grins at you. "I'll be waiting near the waterfall for the next week. Gather any lions you think might wish to join, and we can discuss business then. Oh, and you can keep the zebra." With a blink of an eye, she bounds off, leaving you with the carcass. Oh! It was a zebra! You chuckle to yourself, and submit to the growls of your stomach... INFORMATION AND RULES Hey y'all, this is my first group RP thingo ever. I'm kind of new to this game so please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. So basically, this is a RELATIVELY realistic lion pride. By this I mean male lions can serve as hunters and brood mothers, females can be on patrol and can lead the pride, and will probably do things that lions don't normally do because I know absolutely nothing about lions. Also, this pride derives from IceShard's pride (https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429518962). 1. Please be respectful to everyone. That means no shaming anyone/anyone's OC for being colored, white, LGBT+, disabled, neurodiverse, or anything else I might have missed. 2. This is ONLY on Lioden. I don't have/want/need Discord. 3. Please don't plan out a structure for the RP. However, if you want lion/lioness to be mated with another, please check with that person first. 4. Mutations are allowed, just not Jaglions/Leopons/Tigons. 5. Please no magical powers. That's all I can really think of now. I'm going to create an OOC and a place to post a character sheet, and in one week we can start. If I've missed anything please let me know! Obsidian heard Amora snap a twig, and kept a smile of amusement back. The Queen must be trying to help her find them. She hadn’t yet explained to them that her other senses were so adept that that wasn’t needed. But before she could try, the male that had been grooming himself leapt down and moved towards them. The sound of fur brushing against fur let her know that he had rubbed against someone, probably Amora, and then approached Obsidian. The lioness was prepared to smack him- claws sheathed as a warning- but sensing the others stand to defend her… she froze. No one had even come to her defense, not even her grandmother had been able to in her old age. It was almost enough to bring tears to her eyes but she held them back and sniffed at this male. He seemed friendly, but she didn’t know his intentions. After a moment she turned away from him and went to lay nearish Azure, keeping a safe distance so as not to alarm the female. She was grateful to her new pride mates for coming to her defense, she just didn’t know how to show them. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It'd been days since Subira last saw another lion. The last time she saw a whole pride? Months, perhaps even since she was exiled from her own. That was why she didn't run at the sight of them - she saw her own kin in the way they stuck together. She'd come here looking for something to eat, hoping there was at least a rat or bird hiding within the viridian grove, but... perhaps she could stay here a while longer. When the sun began to lower in the sky, she would run, she thought, so that they never knew she stepped foot in their territory. For now, the young lioness lay in the jungle undergrowth and watched the pride of peculiar-looking lions go about their day. 0 players like this post! Like? |

When she sensed the male start to circle around her, purring all the while, her ears flattened, tail lashing and tracked the sound of his footsteps, her head following his movements. She was done with him accessing her. Even with her blindness she somehow found a way to lock eyes with him and glare. It was a warning before she would strike at him. 0 players like this post! Sensing the other lionesses getting up to follow Amora, she too got back on her paws ready to follow them. Obsidian kept close to the cub with no eyes. Maybe she could help her learn how to use her other senses. She also hoped that Raion’s siblings would be kind unlike Obsidian’s siblings. Raion walked with the confidence of any normal lions, Her ears twitching as she heard her brother walking up to her, the scent filling her nose as he Playfully shoved her and began to walk beside her. She could almost sense that her brother kept on glancing back to the stranger, curious? Wary? Impressed? Subira, curious, followed the pride from a distance. She hadn't quite caught onto what the altercation between the lionesses and the male sitting atop the rock was about, but he didn't seem too friendly... perhaps it was best for her to avoid him, as well. The young lioness weaved through the underbrush as quietly as she could manage - which was less than the perfectly silent huntress she believed herself to be, admittedly, but it had worked for her thus far. Diabouls hopped off the rock that was now covered in his fluffy black mane hair as he stalked into the savannah, after a few minutes of walking he spotted a lone Gazelle at a small pool of water from their last rain fall. A odd smell hit Raion's nose, which made her turn, she walked closer to the scent to guide her, she made it to a large bundle of undergrowth, she could tell due to the fact she was pricked about a hundred times by the branches, She walked forward. bumping into somthing hard, but soft, Wait?
