Community UpdateAside from monthly event news posts and the 2nd Friday of each month being focused on art/coding updates, all other Fridays are centered around the community!
Official Lioden RaffleLINK - This is our official community update raffle. Everyone gets a chance to win a rare prize, plus something extra for any runner ups. Poll Update: Raffle Lioness SystemThe Google Forms poll regarding the raffle lioness system has now concluded. Thank you all for submitting your feedback! We have gone through the results and removed any instances of an account submitting multiple responses. We have compiled the results into bar graphs for each question, showing how many players voted for a specific rating for each question. As a reminder, selecting the rating of 1 for a question meant you did not like the idea being proposed, while selecting the rating of 10 for a question meant that you really liked the idea being proposed. Below, you can find images of the bar graphs, with the question and results translated into text in a spoiler beneath each image. Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that we may not be adding all of these options. This poll was intended to act as a survey to get a feel for the community's preferences. We'll be discussing which ones we will actually implement among our team next week.
Art Bug Fixes* Fixed the Cultist Tailwrap decors not showing up on Adult Males * Fixed Mark of the Abyss and Mark of the Elysium decors not showing up on Adult Males * Fixed new eye colours missing for a few mutation stages (Leopon and Tigon cubs, Lethals) * Fixed Phantom Rosette not displaying for all mutations Coding Bug Fixes & Adjustments* Edited the item descriptions for the Decennial and Feline marking applicators to reflect the addition of Feline 10. * Markings secured with an Ochre Gnawrock should no longer be overwritten by a random rosette. Note that this only applies to breedings that take place after this news post. * Shamash has added a security guard to the Preservers Shop so players can no longer sneakily buy items if they do not have the shop unlocked. * Using Amusement items from your hoard will now properly log their usage and any stats gained. * Using Breeding items will no longer generate a mysterious '9' in your user log.
Notification About Image-Based Suggestion TopicsAs a heads up to players, any artwork-based suggestion topics (bases, eyes, marking shapes, etc.) that contain broken images will be locked, as it is not possible for our artists to recreate anything without an actual image. We encourage players who have posted suggestion topics to revisit their suggestions and ensure the images are working! We strongly recommend against hosting images or files of any type on Discord, as Discord has disabled the ability to use hosted assets for longer than 24 hours. Any images or files that are hosted on Discord become inaccessible outside of Discord, as we mentioned in March's Development Update, and this can be sourced back here: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/discord-will-switch-to-temporary-file-links-to-block-malware-delivery/ If your suggestion topic is locked due to broken images, and you are able to upload working images, please contact the Modbox to have your topic unlocked!

I think y'all are forgetting that the RL's in explore "Can't be autoclaimed" so regardless of if someone finds them, they aren't guaranteed to even get it 0 players like this post! Like? |

I agree with others - while 3 clones in explore is supported a lot, its not a very well balanced idea... I think NCLs with a couple traits from raffle lioness will do much better in explore, than whole clones.  That idea has a tiny bit less supports, but also less non-supports than 3 clones idea! I hope admins will take note of that, while clones has a tiny bit more support over NCLs - it also has more people strongly against it. 13 players like this post! Like? |

The Explore thing WILL lower value, if you think it wont, you dont know the market at all. If theres a chance of getting her in explore? Why the hell would you try to claim the one in crossroads? If theres 3 lionesses in-heat, ready to clone within 3 weeks, its a max amount of 4 rlcs being born, then with 8 copies, if they all clone again, its 8 more clones, so now its 16. Its like ASKING for RLC value to drop like an egg. And ofc, if RLC's dont have worth anymore, neither do crunchies... Gnaws, who still hold value bcs of bo mostly (since rosettes barely sell for anything anymore) will also drop. Now if those 2 items drop AND RLC's too? This will lower the value of GOLD BEETLES ITSELF. (Could go from ~1000  value to 500-600)RLC's are the very LAST active market in which lions are worth more that 500  : HELL! a g6 CLEAN jag is up for 350 when i am writing this.What do you think this means? The maximum amount of gb you could ever get from a singular lion that isnt a 1st-gen hybrid/g2 DU would be around 350-400... RLC's are meant to be end-game (sure, not their traits tho : WHICH AGAIN, singular-rl-trait ncls would be much better than a full explore clone.) making them more available to everyone will just crash what is left of TC right now. If there is RLs added to explore, which I personally hope doesn’t happen at all, could it maybe instead be a different design? Keep the raffle one unique and the explore ones be the same? 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Joining the discussion because this seems pretty important to the future of the RL(C) market. 1. The idea sounds nice, but like other people I do not understand why no email can be send out? If people aren't rolling over because they are busy in life, the chances are high they would still see a notification from Lioden they got per email. 2. I'm pretty indifferent about that option, but I already see many other people do not like the idea much, and that's fine by me. 3. Again pretty indifferent about that option, but I can see why it would make things more difficult for newer players (or just players that aren't too active). 4. I know players like "easy" to get stuff, but it it baffles me how option 4 got so many "yes please" votes. Like other users already stated, this would be INCREDIBLY BAD for the already crashing RL(C) market. Opening a way to get multiple copies of one RL pretty quickly would cause their RLC's to spread way too fast, resulting in their price droping way too much. Best example, the first Ra RL! Once it was available for puplic, it spread so fast and far that people are actively avoiding part RLC's now because they are just everywhere. I don't understand people still using the "but what about privated lines" argument, @vertigoat already worded it very well, private lines are NOT the problem, it's traits not spreading at all. IF you really want a clone of a privated RL line, nothing, really nothing stops you from breeding a clone yourself. People have done it before, so you can do it, too. Even on a low budget, it just takes time like every heavy breeding project does. And if someone starts with the "like this, RL's would be more accesible to (new) players!", they aren't meant to be that! RL(C)'s, much like high valued mutations like hybrids, are supposed to be a luxury you work towards! Nothing you should be ably to buy in your first month of playing the game. 5. This option is still my prefered one, releasing NCL's with part traits would still fulfill the original RL's purpose, spreading new/re-released traits. Depending on how the devs want to handle this (IF it gets implemented), it would be nice to see them implemented as at least BO heavy lions (maybe give them a rare base at least? unless the original RL has one), but not enough to count them as part RLC's. 6. Raffle studs seem at this point the one option everyone would be (somewhat) happy with, me included. I can see it getting annyoing to find a good lioness to stud them to, or just missing the heat of one of your lions, so I hope IF this gets implemented, we would have more than one week (or infinite time?) to use up our go at the raffle stud. 7. Indifferent about this option, again, since I have ro'd more than a year on both my accounts this wouldn't impact me negatively. It would be a nice way to sort out the people who play the game a couple months but then realize the game isn't for them and go inactive, but I feel like the number of ro's needed should be lowered for the people who don't. Maybe to half a year? I think yalf a year sounds like a good milestone for a newish player. 8. I think this should be implemented regardles what other option we will be getting, especially since Crunchy Worms are only available once a year. It is difficult for a lot of players (not only new ones) to suddenly get the GB together for a Crunchy Worm or other useful items for a RL breeding, since no one really expects to win an RL. 5 players like this post! this might be a hot take but oh well. not everyone is entitled to a rl. and i feel most people who voted yes to 4 are people who have not gotten a rl/have not been able to buy a rlc. which yes i understand is disappointing but just because you want something doesnt mean that the market should be completely destroyed to give you a chance to feel special. and again with what many many people said. if people have the money, they’ll spend thousands on energy boosts and catnip to skew their chances of getting the rl in explore. tldr; so glad the rlcs i’ve spent thousands of gb in total may be added to explore /s 8 players like this post!
