My goal for every month is earn an average of 100 currency a day between both accounts. That way I at least have a good 3000ish to spend at the end of the month.

Most months, I have no problem clearing a 100 currency for EACH account, even the days when I don't have the time/am too burned out to grind.

I'm a very active player. I almost never let my energy bar fill up during the time I'm awake during a day. I've done every freaking Harbinger quest so far - and had to drop a 1000 SB on freaking lion skulls because I forgot that stupid shelter

My total so far between two accounts with crazy grinding? Not even 400 JB :/

(Though I do seem to have been getting a lot more locust wings so far this year than I did last year.)

I don't recall earning a crazy amount of JB last year either. Normally I love to stock up on decor, but I had to dump all last year's JB into a few gnaws. I barely had any to spend on GMO cows, let alone the decor I normally love stock up.

And I'm a horse person. A major, major horse person. But like... I get why people don't get the horse thing this month. I don't really either. The Harbinger and the locust plague at least tie into all that apocalyptic stuff in October. I guess someone REALLY stretched the "four horses of the apocalypse" a bit too far

I'm hoping this week's development update will improve JB encounters/refocus on the core parts the event. We were teased with a new combo base back on September 1 that's probably coming on Friday. Perfect sense to use those poor overlooked Locust apps and those Harbinger apps together to create an awesome new base together, right? Perfect time to tie things together in a combo base that's just NOT restricted to September. (Yes, I'm still miffed about how restrictive Constellation turned out to be and how late in the month it dropped.)

I love the Locust and the Harbginger bases, but never have an excuse to use them, so why not drive up excitement/their value with a new combo base that requires both?

We're not just gonna get a random horse-inspired September-only combo base that doesn't even use most of the Harbinger/Locust apps, right? Or yet another thing not even related to September, right?

...Right?

The Combo base teased for September's Development Update ("We do plan to release a combo base during September's Development Update!" Sept Event News) would likely fall on the announced Development Update scheduled for the 13th >.< ("Next Development Update: September 13th!" Last weeks' news); so Friday after next.
( Unless this month will be a surprise 2 big new releases? )

We're likely getting a Community update/raffle tomorrow, but I could be wrong.



Woooooow okay I was considering tracking as well but 2 full bars + 4 refills later 0 JB still (used energy as it came in because I couldn't believe the 0 JB streak, usually there's a few hiding behind the next % ;~; ) & 1 20% refill had a 15% energy encounter and still no JB so it would be something like

Main: Started 2x lambs at 12:00am LD time
100% : 0 JB
10%: 2 JB

20% (Saw I hadn't started my 2 lambs on main >.<) 0 JB

Side: Started 2x lambs at 11:05am LD time (weird morning so far; of course my most rocky start this month xD)

20% : +15% energy, 0 JB

20% 0 JB

which is looking quite sporadic & complex to jot down as my activity is quite varied, i'm usually moving quickly but careful to click the right encounters- I don't think the data is helpful from me unless i'm prepared to record everything to properly reflect the averages across the day so eh, i'm making sure to use energy these days whenever possible varying as it comes in or letting it stack ('whichever I can' as normal for me) so probably won't be taking tallying per energy used into account just focusing on daily total- Harbinger started at Rollover on the 3rd (not midnight) so quests will be coming in as well, much appreciation to those committed to recording.


For now, with 2 Roasted Lambs for 3 of 4 days so far & 1 day of 1 Roasted Lambs each i'm averaging 1.5-1.61 Gnaws/day (225-241.5 JB).
Around 9 Lvl-ups + 4, & 4-5 Extra energy bars used on top of the doubled refills.

528 JB / 438 JB = 966 JB Total


(I was expecting 4/Day (300 JB/day ea. = 600JB total) with double lambing based on a 4/day peak but am not even hitting 2/day (300JB across both accounts).)

Very glad I'm not the only one noticing this. Started around 2022 (I know, I'm a bit of a latecomer ) and this was the first event I actively played, since when I started in late August I didn't know how the hell the shops worked. That year, while avidly playing, I made enough to comfortably last with GBs until February, where I really got into gear and made enough money to be alright for the weaker profit-wise months. Quite frankly I can't remember much from last year's September aside from getting a fair bit of GBs from a trade I put up, but I'm sure I can find the picture of it to get a reference as to around how many JBs I got during the event.

Now keep in mind, I don't play near as actively as I used to. After January of this year the Lioden energy was straight up sucked out of me, and I still have yet to recover from that, but I wanted enough to last comfortably until February as I usually do.

Keeping in mind that I started with around 100-110 JBs leftover from last year and that I check this site only a few times a day, I've gotten about 422 JBs so far. That sounds decent, but considering I was easily able to get to around 4k within the first week or two WITHOUT any energy items and I've had to use energy items to get at least half of this (roasted lambs, meat pies, energy boosts, etcetc) the years before, and I'm nowhere near that now, even with actively using my energy bars all of today, it's a tad confusing and disheartening. I'm usually just fine with the events even with my bouts of inactivity, but frankly I feel I can't afford to not roll every day in fear of not hitting my now seemingly high goal of at least 2k JBs by the time tier 3 opens.

I've also seen this with friends trying to grind the event. It's a literal grind, not even in a fun way like I think February is (though that one may be my personal taste, honestly.) We have to use 2-3 energy bars on BOTH accounts before we get anywhere even close to 10 JBs per energy bar, which seems absolutely nuts to me!

Thankfully I've been logging my count by the day, but I haven't been tracking the exact amounts per energy bar, which I'll definitely start doing now. Desperately hoping they fix this, because this is NOT what I think ANYONE wanted for the September event
