(I'm feeling a little better, still pretty stressed but I'm getting through it :) Also yeah I didn't notice that XD He has a looooot of relatives XDXD You could always heritage wipe him someday though if you were set on keeping him :3 I am suuuuper proud of my current heir on my side account. (Well I’m glad you’re feeling better even if it’s just a lil bit. He really does have a long line and I wish I could’ve gotten him to have a shorter line but I’m not too mad about it considering he’s good lookin. However I didn’t even know about heritage wiping… how would I go about that? 🤔
Also your side king is very handsome you’ve never showed him to me but I’m glad you did. Very handsome indeed lol. I may have to stud to him eventually haha. I think Theodis would’ve been a good fit for him but his name is also fitting lol.)

(Thank you :3 Also, heritage repping is basically where when it is time to replace your king again, you can choose the option to keep his looks but use the new lions stats/mutation/heritage! So you could use a groupie (Which I believe you find in explore in February) which is a male lion with no heritage, or you could use a mutated low gen lion, or anything really! It will take all of the new lions stats and stuff but keep the markings/appearance of your old lion :D And thank you X3 I agree he is a very handsome boy and if you ever want to stud just let me know!! Girl you got all the free studdings you want haha X3 Also, I'm very happy rn because I just sold one of Ignatius's babies for 50gb yasssss hehe )

Ellisar moved away from Sebastian, heading over to Sonnuri and reaching into one of the many saddlebags that adorned his sides. He pulled out a metal pan from the bag along with a wooden spoon and a small satchel before heading towards the fire. He listened to the somewhat uncomfortable silence between everyone, the crackling of the fire the only thing filling the air. He sat down next to the fire across from Theodis and Isolde, crossing his legs and placing the pan in front of him. He silently pulled a small knife from his belt, it looked as if he might have crafted it himself. The blade was simple and the handle looked to be the antler of a young spike-horned deer. It wasn't the most beautiful knife, but it seemed well crafted and was sharp. He began to pull the items they had foraged out of his bag, slicing them one by one in his hand until he had a stirfry of sorts. He opened the small satchel he had taken from the saddle, taking from it a bottle that contained some oil and a wooden container of salt. He added a touch of the two items to the pan, then placed it on the edge of the fire to cook. He used to wooden spoon to push around the mushrooms and veggies as they cooked before deciding he could stand the silence no longer. He lifted his eyes, landing them on Theodis. "Theodis, if you're hungry, I'd be happy to share." He offered politely, after all, he wasn't sure he had seen the Upper Cuthos Soldier eat yet.

Theodis had been silent as Sebastian and Ellisar came to the fire, his mind was reeling with thoughts of Isolde and the moment they had shared. What might have happened between them if they were left alone much longer? What did he truly feel? Why did he feel so strongly towards this woman he had met only days ago when all his life he had never felt such feelings before. He had never felt so...vulnerable. The sound of Ellisar's voice pulled him from his trance, and a feeling of disgust washed over him when Ellisar spoke his name. But something stopped him from spouting the hateful remark that was brewing in his chest. He glanced over at Isolde, almost imperceptibly, before he spoke. "No...that's alright." He stated, his voice was hard, but not necessarily hateful. "I have rations." He glanced at Ellisar, making eye contact with him only for a moment before looking away, directing his gaze towards Isolde instead. He reached into his bag and pulled out a small square of what looked like flat, dense bread. "This can feed a soldier for a day. It's sweet...you can try a bite if...you want." He offered, a touch of reluctance in his voice, was it because of Ellisar? Or because he didn't want to give away his sweets? He broke off a small chunk and gave it to Ellisar, subconsciously trying to avoid having their fingers touch as he did. He then broke off another small chunk, turning towards Isolde and holding it out towards her. He let a warm, surprisingly charming smile break across his face as he did, seeming to forget for a moment that she was a vampire. He was trying for her, and he seemed proud of that fact.

Sebastian watched as Ellisar walked off, staying back for a moment, simply observing the others like he might the insects he studied back home. After a while, he stepped closer, his eyes on Ellisar as he cut up and prepared the stir-fry. Having rarely seen anyone cook, he found the process surprisingly interesting. As Ellisar seasoned the food and set it on the fire, Nyx came up to sniff at the meal, quickly turning her nose up at it when she realized it contained no meat. She padded over to Sebastian, giving a hungry whimper. He rolled his eyes playfully—back home, she would hunt for herself, but here, in unfamiliar territory, she seemed unwilling to go alone. When Ellisar spoke to Theodis, Sebastian turned to watch the exchange, unfazed by Theodis’s curt response. It had become a pattern by now. However, seeing Theodis offer a piece of his rations to Isolde with a surprisingly warm smile almost made him chuckle. He caught himself, though, holding it in—no need to risk provoking the man.

Isolde snapped out of her almost trance-like state when Theodis offered her a piece of his ration. She gave him an almost regretful look, feeling guilty that she couldn’t accept it. The sweet smell tempted her, and she could tell that it meant something to him to share it, even if only a little. She hesitated for a moment. She could eat it, but that would only make her sick, and she wasn’t about to risk that so early in their journey. Gently, she placed her cool hands over Theodis’s, closing his fist around the offering. “I’m sorry—it would make me sick if I tried to eat it,” she said softly, meeting his gaze. “But I appreciate the thought. It smells nice.” At the mention of food, however, her stomach growled, and her eyes darkened in color—a subtle shift she didn’t seem to notice.

(Dang thats very nice! Obviously the same goes to you with studding! If you would ever want to stud to any of my kings just let me know, I'm more then willing to wave the fee for a friend lolol. Yeah while I like my kings looks I am attempting to be a stats breeder (which I'm still figuring out actually, Idk I like big numbers XD) but I do like his looks enough to try and get a male groupie so I could have a fresh start with his looks and I could always buy stat boosts, work with him, and just find high level females to breed to. It's definitely something I will be considering cause some his babies are very cute lol)

"Oh, right, apologies." He said softly, his cheeks flushing red with embarrassment at his blunder as well as her touch. He hoped it wasn't too visible thanks to the warm glow of the fire. He looked into her eyes, his sharp eyes taking notice immediately of the change. He tilted his head softly while staring intently into her eyes, seeming somewhat puzzled. "Isolde, your eyes, they look dark..." He mentioned softly, seeming concerned only with her now, paying no mind to Ellisar making a comment about the ration tasting good. "Are you alright?" He asked, keeping his voice neutral but his eyes showed a bit of worry. He had no idea what it might mean for her eyes to change like that and was concerned it might be something wrong.

"This is delicious." He said kindly after eating the ration, but his words seemed to go unheard. He didn't really mind, but he seemed equally puzzled when he heard the mention of Isolde's eyes changing their hue. He looked up at Sebastian from where he sat, leaning to try and see the vampire's eyes from where he sat, not being too subtle about it either. He kept quiet though, deciding to let Isolde answer the concerned questions from Theodis. He didn't know much about vampires, maybe it was something normal? He didn't want to overreact, so he returned his focus to his pan of food.

Theodis’s comment had made her all too aware of her eyes, and the change in their color was a reminder she’d been caught slipping into her vampiric nature. It was something she wished he didn’t have to see, especially not with how her instincts seemed to flare around him lately. She quickly composed herself and offered a soft, reassuring smile. “I… I’m alright, truly,” she said gently, hoping he wouldn’t see through her calm exterior. “When I’m… hungry my eyes tend to change like that.” Her voice faltered for a brief moment before she forced herself to continue. “I know it must seem strange.” Meeting his gaze, she noticed the way he looked at her, genuine concern softening his sharp eyes. “I appreciate you noticing, though,” she added with a small, grateful smile, hoping to draw his focus away from her eyes and her nature—even if just for a moment. She stood readying to leave, “We’ll will return momentarily…” she urged Sebastian and Nyx to follow her through not so subtly head gestures.

Sebastian watched the exchange quietly, picking up on Isolde’s subtle discomfort as Theodis’s concerned eyes lingered on her. Seeing her fumble, even slightly, made him feel oddly protective. As she turned her gaze to him, he noticed the silent request in her eyes. When she stood and gave him a small, subtle gesture to follow, he nodded, understanding without a word. It seemed she wanted to slip away without much fuss, and he was more than willing to help her out of this awkward moment. Sebastian stood, glancing over at Theodis and Ellisar to cover her retreat. “We’ll be back shortly,” he said casually, knowing they’d take it at face value. With a light stride, he followed Isolde out of the fire’s warm glow, into the cool shadows of the trees. Once they were a safe distance away, he casually brought up Theodis’s and her exchange from earlier before Ellisar and him had interrupted. She gave him a small jab of her elbow which made him chuckle as they started trying to find something to eat quickly.
