For more than 500 years dragons have been plagues. They were hatred and feared. Until one day a small group of friends find a dragon nesting ground. The parents laid dead beside their nests, but only 1 egg of each specie was left in each nest. Only 1 adult dragon remained from this nesting ground, almost dead it pushed it's last egg towards the group. They knew what the dragon was trying to tell them, they were supposed to take care of the remaining eggs. The eggs's species were: Stormcutter [Taken] Rumblehorn [Taken] Flightmare [Taken] Sand wraith [Taken] Raincutter [Taken] Deadly nadder [Taken] Gruff [Taken] Terrible terror [One for each character (Those who want)] They had to struggle by keeping them safe because the dragons grew fast. It wasn't easy.... Rules: -No god modding -Only 1 character and dragon each person -If you have questions ask on the sign up thread -Keep genders even -All lioden rules apply -No character/dragon is perfect -Put "Muffins" in other if you read the rules -You can only play as a viking who owns a dragon -6+ sentences -Feel free to make up something. For example, the dragons are attacking the village or something -Be respectful -No one hit kills -You can only choose a dragon from the "egg species". -Use the the sign up thread for discussing problems, only minimum OOC talk on the roleplay thread. -Every person can only reply after 2-3 others have also replied. -If you haven't been active for more than a week, without notifying me, you will be cut out of the roleplay. Lacota held the tablet up toward where he thought Luna was. "Everything we know about dragons nest." The blind boy laughed. He got up and stretched, as much as he hated boats he wouldn't let his friends go without him. As for weapons he had all he needed on him, taking his cane against the ground. "I can get the food and medicine that we'll need." He offered. He headed tword his house knowing his mother would be off at the healer's center by now. He gathered many nonparisables and grabed what medicine they might need, thank the gods his mother had carved everything in the house so he could read it. He put it all in his satuel and opened the door to have Koba hit the back of his legs. Denzel walked on to 'steal' a Battleaxe from the closet, and admired it for a second as it shone against the sunlight that filtered through the pit's top, listening intently to what the rest were saying, and turned over to see Lacota come in again. -It would be nice to stop for a meal and rest if the trip carries on, or just have extra food in case we get lost. We're not sure how far away the nest is, even when Luna said it probably isn't that far away. We should also take some shields, and maybe something to start a fire, too! Remember what the instructor said? "If we have to choose between a sword and a shield, take the shield."- Once he realized how much he had babbled on, he blushed slightly in embarrassment, and shifted his attention back to the Axe, waiting for someone to claim the role of leading the ship. 0 players like this post! Echo let out a silent laugh at everyones excitement. She reached for a shield grabbing one for protection. "Your Right we will Need these." she muttered. She looked over at Luna as she asked who was going to be leading the ship. "I could Try! I-I Mean my father taught me how to drive a-a ship... for p-personal reasons" She said Slightly feeling shy as she spoke She took a deep breath in. She couldn't believe they where going to another place. "Also what about cloth? In case we do get lost or stuck And n-need a place to sleep. I-I could get some from the tailor. " She spoke trying to prevent her voice from quivering And breaking up. "so much to do and get and so little time" she whispered as she fiddle with her Necklace. Kaolin was next to the closet. Not much was left, so she grabbed a shield and a slim, long sword. "Alright. I have an apple, a sword, and a shield." She said with a laugh. Walking passed the others, she stood next to her sister. "Glad to hear to can steer a ship, Echo. Of course, you need to know where to go. I think I overheard some villagers say the nest was a bit north, on that mountain-y island. That's we're they traveled to last." She pointed out. 0 players like this post! Luna looked at what Danzel had been writing and asked "How do you hatch eggs?" as she stood up. Luna heard what the others were talking about and said "At least I have no idea how to sail a ship so yeah... I guess you should" and smiled. She walked towards the closet and looked over the weapons. "Does anyone know how to build a shelter? I can cook but I don't know how to build a shelter." Luna said and took a blue shield with orange flames painted on it. "We could try asking someone where exactly the island is, without them suspecting anything" She said walked back to the group. "What are your favourite dragons anyway?" She asked the group as she sat down to tie her shoe. "Mine's probably the sand wraith, the stormcutter and the gruff" She continued and started to braid her hair into a loose braid. 0 players like this post! After Maria got her weapons, she answered. "I pretty sure you have to give it love and warmth. And I know how to build a shelter with sticks, stones and other things," She guessed. Dragons weren't birds anyway. "I know how to speak some Dragonese, so we'll also be lucky if they understand us." Maria settled the bow and arrow onto her back and thought carefully. "Hmm...probably a Flightmare and Terrible terror." She smiled once more, "They're so cute and ghost-like!" If the group ever got to actually be trainers, it'll must be a legend. Denzel grabbed a shield the moment Echo agreed, trying to seem calm, collected, and thinking rationally, the last one being the priority. He looked around and realized how determined everyone was, something that made him smile slightly. He was beginning to let his thoughts run loose until Luna talked. -Oh... Uhm, I don't know how to build shelters, but in the dragon question, it probably would be Sand Wraiths or Wooly Howls... Snap Trappers are cool, too! Wouldn't like to be trapped with one- Trying to regain a calm manner, he tied the axe and shield to the vest with some loose string he had found, and stretched. -Imagine if we could see a Night Fury... Pretty far fetched, but it would still be interesting.- 0 players like this post! Like? |

Luna looked over to Danzel and got surprised that the Snap Trapper was one of his favourites "Ew, I think the Snap Trappers are freaking scary! They look like giant meat eating creepy flowers." She said and laughed. "But I do like the woolly howl" She continued and smiled as she continued to sharpen her sword and listen to the others. "The Terrible Terrors look super cute but damn they can be dangerous" Luna said to Maria. "And yeah it would be amazing to be a dragon trainer. Just imagine the feeling of flying!" She said and starting imagine what it would be like to fly. "And the world is probably so much bigger than we think it is" She continued and put her sword on the table in front of her. "Come on, Denzel. No one has ever even seen the Night Fury! We don't even have any proof that he really exist. Kaolin kneeled on the dirt ground and set down the shield and sword. "My favorite dragon would have to be the Deadly Nadder. I mean, it was 'deadly' in its name." She said as she cleaned the smudges off her sword with her long t-shirt. "They're so beautiful, yet fast with killer accuracy. They can shoot spikes of their own tail. Dad told me that." She added. This trip would be the more exciting thing she's ever done. Standing up, she stuffed her apple in a vest pocket so she could hold the shield and sword. Echo gave a soft smile "I like Deadlynadders oh! And R-Raincutters" she spoke Twirling the necklace. "I only know how to drive a ship.. Once we go to the ship I-Ill grab some cloth from the tailor and if no one knows how to make a shelter then We can learn how to" she said. She looked at Denzel "a-a-a N-Night Fury! I w-wouldn't like to meet one. I mean come on they are d-deadly!" She said Shivering. "If the gods are angry at us then let them be angry. I don't want meet one!" She gave a soft squeak before getting comfortable again. "Terrible Terrors are quite adorable But I Dont think I could handle their appetites it I had to raise one. Denzel laughed at the reaction the Night Fury had caused, and then looked at Echo, his smirk dying down a little. -Gods... Vikings always ravage the nests, I doubt anyone has even seem a baby dragon alive more time than it takes to kill it... I don't think there'll even be eggs that aren't destroyed already, but I suppose it would be more or less like chickens, just cracking open and needing warmth for that to happen.- He shrugged, and sat down, only to stretch out and groan. -When will we leave? Luna stood up and looked over the group "Everyone, go get what you need then we'll meet at the peer. Okay?" She said but didn't wait for anyone to answer. She walked towards the table where she had put her weapons on and put the shield on her back, the knife was already in her pocket but she decided to carry the sword instead. She turned around and ran back home. She carefully opened the door and checked inside to see if anyone was there. She walked inside and closed the door quietly. She walked into the kitchen, grabbed a bag and put it on the table. Luna took 2 wooden cups, a bread, some fruits and vegetables and put it in the bag. She then decided to take another cup, just in case if someone would forget to take one. She then walked up to her bedroom and took a brown coat made of wolf skin mainly and 2 pair of mittens. She then walked down to see if Kaolin was there too. She didn't see her, probably on her way. She swiped the bag on her shoulder then walked back to the peer. She jumped onto the boat and placed her stuff on the end of the ship. Now she just had to wait for the others. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Maria nodded and bounded back home, failing to sneak. For her mother, was behind her. "Maria Willams....Shouldn't you be at school?" Maria smiled innocently, "Forgot my...supplies?" "Very well..I'll be gardening," The woman then walked back outside. Maria sighed in relief and ran to the kitchen. She grabbed a small buckskin bag and stuffed some fruits in it along with two cutting knives. She sprinted to her room, and grabbed some warm clothing and some arrows stored under her beg. Finally, Maria took her buckskin coat and wolf skin blanket. Heaving the slightly heavy bag on her back, she quickly walked outside. "Bye mom," Maria whispered just in case she wouldn't make it back. Kaolin set the sword and shield on a table in the academy so no one would question why she had it out of training. On her way home, she overheard two men talking about their last victory with the dragons. "Excuse me, but are you talking the latest victory, with the dragon nest?" She interrupted, but tried to sound kind and curious. "Yes it is, why would you like to know?" One man asked. "I'm learning about dragon fighting and our instructor said we needed to know where all the dragon's nests are so we can keep an eye on them in the future. Do you know where that nest was?" Kaolin thought her story sounded convincing. To her liking, they bought it. "This nest was about eight kilometers north if you leave out of the nearest peer." "Thank you, mister. I'll write that down on my map." She said and quickly ran home. She quietly sneaked inside and raced to her room. There, she grabbed some spear cloth and stuffed it in her backpack. In the kitchen, she gathered fish, berries, and some vegetables. She walked around the house trying to think of what else she needed. She didn't get far when her mother walked in the front, forcing Kaolin the sneak out the back. Kaolin ran along the outskirts of the village. Before reaching the peer, she grabbed her shield and sword at the academy. She saw her sister at the peer. "Hey, Luna, I found out where the island is," 0 players like this post! She looked around as she nodded. "You're right. No one knows anything but what they look like. I guess if we come across one we will choose what we have to do" she said before she glanced around as she heard Luna speak up. "Ok meet you guys at the Boat." She said placing the daggers in to her boot and the shield on her back. She began to run back home. She managed to get home and enter the house unnoticed. She quickly grabbed her leather bag and Thin leather jacket Lined with fur placing it in thebbag. She went into the kitchen quickly grabbing some fruit 2 pieces of bread And a Cup. She made her way out heading to the dock before stopping. She mentally slapped her self before turning around andheading to the Tailor's shop. She enter the shop quietly hopefully she wouldn't be caught; but she was wrong She heard the doors open "Echo M Thornton! Your shift doesn't start till School is out. Go Back to School!" Echo nodded in agreement" Ok well then.. gotta get back.. Bye" She said hidding the material she had behind her before backing towards the door and waving at her boss. She bolted down to the dock.
