For more than 500 years dragons have been plagues. They were hatred and feared. Until one day a small group of friends find a dragon nesting ground. The parents laid dead beside their nests, but only 1 egg of each specie was left in each nest. Only 1 adult dragon remained from this nesting ground, almost dead it pushed it's last egg towards the group. They knew what the dragon was trying to tell them, they were supposed to take care of the remaining eggs. The eggs's species were: Stormcutter [Taken] Rumblehorn [Taken] Flightmare [Taken] Sand wraith [Taken] Raincutter [Taken] Deadly nadder [Taken] Gruff [Taken] Terrible terror [One for each character (Those who want)] They had to struggle by keeping them safe because the dragons grew fast. It wasn't easy.... Rules: -No god modding -Only 1 character and dragon each person -If you have questions ask on the sign up thread -Keep genders even -All lioden rules apply -No character/dragon is perfect -Put "Muffins" in other if you read the rules -You can only play as a viking who owns a dragon -6+ sentences -Feel free to make up something. For example, the dragons are attacking the village or something -Be respectful -No one hit kills -You can only choose a dragon from the "egg species". -Use the the sign up thread for discussing problems, only minimum OOC talk on the roleplay thread. -Every person can only reply after 2-3 others have also replied. -If you haven't been active for more than a week, without notifying me, you will be cut out of the roleplay. "Ok then" She said Giving a breath of air. Echo wasn't so much afraid as of what was in the water but the water it's self. She took deep breaths "That Might not be such a good idea. I-I Mean I believe we should wait till we are around a fire..at night " She Spoke giving a soft sigh. She glanced to the water and began to panic in her mind again. 'To late to go home now'. "I just can't wait till this is over" She huffed quietly to her self. As she sat her bag down on a empty bench. She just couldn't wait to get on land again. She looked towards the others before looking at the sea. Fear almost washed over her face "S-So do you guys really think we will find a nest?" She asked. (Sorry I fell asleep last night!) Lacota practicly had to crawl into the boat. "Did I ever mention that I don't koan how to swim?" He said in a huffing laughter. He managed to get over to one of the benches and laid down. "This is going to be a long ride..." He muttered. Koba jumped on the boat happily, having been on sailing missions before, and went over to his master to lick his face. "No gross, I'm being attacked with dog kisses!" Lacota flailed laughing. Koba barked and went from person to person checking them out. Before finally laying on the floor by Lacota. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Luna realised that Denzel wasn't listening, just staring into the water. She walked towards Lacota and sat down beside his legs and started to pet Koba. "I don't know, maybe we will. Wouldn't it be amazing to actually raise a dragon?" She said and closed her eyes and smiled as she imagined how it would be to fly. Then suddenly the ship moved, like it got hit by something in the water. Luna froze and opened her eyes. "W-what was that?" She asked curiously but shocked. Then another hit. Luna jumped up and ran to the edge of the ship and looked over. "Water dragons" She whispered as she saw one whirl around. She backed away from the edge and turned around. "Do water dragons often attack ships?" She asked with her eyes open, definitely scared. She heard water splashes and turned around. A giant seashocker jumped up from the water and made a huge splash as he fell back down. She backed even more and didn't see that Lacota was right behind her, looking at the dragons that were still swimming in the sea. Luna backed so much that she accidentally pushed him over the edge and made him fall down in the sea. "Lacota!!" She screamed and looked over the edge. She couldn't jump after him because she was terrified of water. She shook her hands and jumped around, scared. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Echo muttered to her self, she knew how to swim but she currently had a fear of drowning which often made it hard for her to enter water. She let out a soft laugh watching Koba's Actions. She felt the boat shake. "That's Not good"she muttered before she saw a Seashocker go over the boat. She began to breath heavily as she felt her self get drenched in water. Her eyes widden as she realized this was most likely an attack. She looked over to see Luna get knocked over into Lacota. "Watch out!" She shouted but it was a bit to late Lacota had been knocked into the sea. Her mind had began to fill with adrenalin as she Realized that Lacota couldn't swim. She grabbed a piece of rope giving it to Luna hopefully to stop her from jumping around. "Hold this pull when I say too" She spoke. She didn't think the plan through as she tied the rope around her waist before going in after Lacota. She quickly placed her grip on both sides of Lacota "Hold on tight" she spoke. "Luna Pull! ( this is Koba) Lacota, who had manage to calm down a little whe he was suddenly hit and for a moment it almost felt like flying, then it was like hitting a sheet of ice. For a second he was too stuned and shocked to do anything, but the second he realized breathing had no longer become an option he began to kick and flail. When he felt someone grab him, he tried to go still. Struggling doesn't help he tried to remind himself. Koba went to the side of the boat and was about to jump in when something caught his eye and he began to bark hysterically at the two in the water. Kaolin listened as the others talked about their future plans of dragon rider. "That'd be awesome. Easy travel." She added in to the conversation. This relaxing ride turned into a horror scene in seconds. Sea dragons, Lacota overboard with Echo soon following. "Oh dear God!" She yelled and grabbed on to a bench as the boat began to rock. The seashocker pod began to swim around them, knocking into the boat as they did. With any previous knowledge of being a helmsman, Kaolin took hold of the wheel. She tried to keep the boat from tipping, which proved to be more difficult than she expected. "Which way's north?" She asked herself. "More importantly," She yelled out to anyone who would listen, "how do a get away from these beasts?" 0 players like this post! Like? |

Maria gasped, "Seashockers are mostly in icy oceans...so maybe.." She suddenly saw an ice berg, "TURN ECHO, TURN!!!! HURRY UP!!!" Maria leaned over the boat and fell on purpose to prevent slipping off. She then shouted, "If we can't run away...we can speak to the, perhaps?" Maria sat on a bench and held on. The shocker Kept glancing around with its two heads. Maria jumped from her seat as the boat leaned, she gripped on a loose piece of wood as she slid forward. 0 players like this post! Like? |

(( Sorry for coming back so late, I was in school ; ; )) The moment that Sea Shocker came out, Denzel jumped back. The darkness wasn't from the bottom, it was from the dark colours of it and his good ol' pals. He zoomed out for a second once Lacota fell... Listening to Luna freak out, hearing Echo's scream, and then throwing herself into the water... He wasn't sure of how to help, until he realized Luna was still too nervous to follow Echo's instruction correctly. Noticing that, he took part of the rope from Luna, the one in front of her as to not take it completely but still be of help, and pulled. Denzel wasn't strong enough to pull them both fast enough, the only 'real' workout was from the dragon academy and perhaps harvesting cabbages, but at least it was worth something. Koba began barking beside him, but he didn't pay proper attention to him. As he was pulling, he heard Kaolin's questions, and quickly answered. -Didn't anyone bring a compass? We planned this for like 30 minutes, that's enough time to remember compasses!- He yelled, with an annoyed tone, they hadn't even set out enough time for this to be acceptable... -I'd like to say we're going North, but only if this dragons haven't turned us all around already! And I'd also like to think Maria could calm them down, didn't she say she spoke Dragonese or something?- The rope almost slipped from his hands for a second, after being distracted, but Denzel quickly regained his footing and continued pulling. 0 players like this post! Luna finally managed to focus on what was going on. She ran to Denzel and helped him pull Echo and Lacota up. A huge seashocker swam around them and was probably preparing for an attack. "In my bag! There! The compass is in my bag!" She yelled and pointed with her head at her bag as she tried to pull them up. More and more seashockers poured in and they were completely surrounded. She looked around herself and saw the iceberg Maria was talking about. "Turn! Come on turn! Someone!" She yelled and almost lost her grip on the rope because of panicking. "I read it in a book at the great hall a few days ago, that seashockers follow the smell of blood (This is completely made up xD )! Did anyone bring meat?!" She yelled and pulled harder. The seashockers continued to swirl around the ship, causing it to wag. "Almost there!" She yelled as she saw a part of Echo's head. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kaolin was freaking out, like everyone else in the small boat. "I brought some fish." She called out to Luna. "In my bag, someone grab it and throw!" She yelled over the chaos. Gripping the wheel with all her strength, she swung the old wooden ring westward. Barely dodging the iceberg, she looked over her shoulder. "Jeez, I hate boats. Did Echo save Lacota yet?" She turned back to face the ocean. Salt water splashed in her facing. These conditions were terrible for sailing, but she managed to steer the mini ship away from other icebergs. She swung herself around turning the boat, but it was better than drowning. At this point she didn't care where they were going, she wanted out of this mess. 0 players like this post! Echo Used her feet to push towards the pull. Using her free hand to help as much as she could. She tried to keep Lacota and Herself above the water. Echo felt something Brush up against her leg; she quickly pushed her legs downwards again to give them a boast towards the boat. As soon as they reached the Nose of the Boat she helped Lacota Get back on the boat before hoisting herself on. She had finally got a glance of the swarm.She heard Kaolin ask if they were Safe yet. "We're on board and that's as safe as it gets.. for now" she spoke as she quickly detached the rope from her waist. She had finally gotten a good look at the swarm around her and her eyes widden "And they thought they got rid of a majority of them" she whispered. She caught her breath for a moment as she looked around. "This is Impossible!" Echo breathed As she watched the swarm try to knock them in to the water. She gripped the side trying to not get knocked back into the water. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Lacota coughed as he was hoisted onto the boat. Water spilled from his mouth as he tried not to drown on the boat. He hugged the floor of the boat, he focused on breathing. Koba sat at his side trying to warm the other up. He called for his cane and Koba retevied in quickly, and Lacota slowly got up, relying heavily on the cane. He went over to his bag and dug out a bottle before moving VERY carefully to the side of the boat and dumped it in and waited for the water to settle. "Bog musk" ,was all he said. Bog musk in large amounts could make the biggest dragons feel sick, so even the smell could could ward the off. Thing was for humans it was deadly. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Luna ran over to Lacota as the seashockers swam away in fear and yelled at him repeatedly "I'm so sorry! I'm so, so sorry! Are you okay? I never meant to do this! I'm so sorry!". She quickly stood up and ran to get 2 blankets. She tossed one over to Echo and wrapped one around Lacota. She sat down and felt so bad for what she did that she had started crying. She couldn't resist but hug Lacota and repeated "I'm so sorry" so many times while hugging him. She opened her eyes while her head still rested on Lacota's shoulder. She saw a small island with some kind of creatures on it. "There! The dragons I see them! Right there!" She yelled as she moved a bit away from Lacota (not offensively) and pointed to the island. The ship sailed closer and closer until they saw the dragons very clearly. Her heart pounded in her chest as she stared at the lifeless dragons. "Good sailing though, Kaolin. And that was nice what you did there when Lacota fell into the water." She said, still staring at the island. "Are you guys sure that we want to do this?"
