She gives a quiet, amused snort to Raphael's cocky comment and quickens her pace so he'll have to keep up. "I saw a small clearing on the way over here," She replies, casting him a glance over her shoulder, "I thought it would be a nice place for hunting deer." and a nice place to test your hunting abilities. She had heard some about Raphael's loner background from her packmates. But you could never really trust rumors, could you? She slows down until she's striding beside the other wolf and gives him a curious gaze, "So. You were a loner before you joined Shadow Pack?"

Raphael | Gamma

Raphael quickened his pace slightly to match hers and nodded as she spoke about the deer. Deer was a rarity for him but the few times he'd had it he had loved it. The antlers made for good chewing as well. He glanced at her, his amber eyes guarded from the question. "Yes," he replied hesitantly. "I didn't have kin remaining in my birth pack and I wasn't very popular there so I left as a yearling. ShadowPack defended me from a bear attack so I joined out of debt and gratitude. Now I stay out of loyalty. What about you?". He usually didn't open up to wolves he didn't know well. So pretty much any wolf. But he also knew that to get some he had to give some and keeping some details to himself was easy. No harm done.

Artemis nodded curtly to Isis "Yeah, that works. Its big enough for medium sized meals and things like deer can be added in large chunks and pieces." Looking around, she noticed the rock and frowned "It might not be sturdy enough for a den. If its the alpha's den itll need to fit at least a few wolves standing up, and the rock doesnt look like it would be able to support a den tht large."

She nodded after a moment, her bright blue eyes looking over the area... "How about that?" It was the largest tree in the radius of the camp, the roots jutted out of the ground in random places and looked pretty big, she moved forwards and managed to squeeze between two of the roots, but barely, "Secure... Maybe this would serve as a nursery better then anything..."

Artemis glanced around the secure area "A nursery, this, that would be best. It symbolizes the pack perfectly, the next generation is the most important thing, the most guarded thing, and should be the center of attention. The last barrier will be the roots and the mothers, this is perfect." She muttered, her voice had taken on one of a Delta, she truly felt that way but only because she was that loyal to Shadowpack.

She nodded once the delta approached, looking around, "Alphas den.. Alphas den.." Her eyes locked onto a medium sized hill-like area, "We could dig into that for the alphas den no?" Her eyes flickered to her daughter for a moment before resuming what she was doing, the area where the beta's den could be was a few feet at most from the hill..

Wintergreen//Cub

She nodded, her tail wagging fiercely before she launched at the moss covering the trees and rocks. Shredding it all until she was to exhausted to go any further. She shoved the remaining pieces into the pile that had grown well over her head, a good foot or so taller then herself.

She nods thoughtfully as he speaks, a smile coming to her face. "My story is a rather boring one." A soft laugh escapes her and she peers down at the ground as she walks, studying her paws for a moment. "I just grew up with my loner mother and half-brother," She says after a moment, her words coming out slowly, "We found Shadow Pack but couldn't convince her to join with us." Her words trail off a bit, "She was a free spirit. I don't think she would have been happy in a pack anyway." A pang of guilt travels up her spine. She hadn't seen or heard from her mother since they had joined Shadow Pack and she often wondered if she was still alone. She shakes her head slightly, eyes flicking up as the clearing came into view. There were no animals present in the field but if they waited a while they were bound to show up.

Meruem left Jazzlyn to work on the moss with a final warning not to wander. She padded over to Artemis and Isis, having heard their conversation. "I spotted a thicket of ferns by the tree you want to make the nursery," she said and jerked her chin towards the thicket she was talking about. The ferns had grown at a wolf length taller than the tallest wolf in the pack and were tightly packed. "I can clear the centre and there will still be shelter enough to provide protection against the elements." Her sharp eyes flitted around the clearing. She was considering where the healers den was to go. "Check out the brook I can hear nearby. Healers need water and it will be far enough to prevent the spread of illness come the colder moons."

Raphael smiled wryly and returned his gaze to the path in front of them. He swatted a bee with his tail that had been droning around by his flank and its buzzing was abruptly cut off. "That's something we have in common then. My mother is out there somewhere as well. I haven't seen nor spoken to her since I was weaned though. She was kicked from the pack for having pups as an omega" He slowed when they reached the clearing and spotted a branch that had partly snapped off a large tree. The thickly leafed smaller branches that rest on the group provided a good hiding place where they could wait for prey to show up. "Ladies first." He waved his tail at the branch.

Artemis glanced at the hill "That seems good, but whethrr or not itll avrually be sturdy we'll figure out later into the digging." Glancing around it, she noticed a close tree, its leaves were low and its roots wer thick "That's the beta's den. If we clear out the area underneath, it should be spacey enough for three to four wolves." With a bored sigh she turned her head "This is tedious" she muttered under her breath, flicking her tail in boredom as she mentally figured out the rest of the den spaces. "That tree-" she pointed with her tail at a hollowed out tree "A delta den. That one-another delta den. That one...an omega den" she pointed at each in turn and when she reached the omega densite, she noticed with satisfaction how right she was. The den was small and farther away from the others, but sheltered enough that it wouldnt be too bad.

Meruem flicked her tail "Let's get to work then. Pick a den and get to work," she said and headed for the clump of giant ferns. (reaallly short post sorry. I just spilled tea all over myself D: )

Kiche gives Raphael a short glance before crawling under the branch on her belly and resting her head delicately on her paws. She sighs quietly and scans the field with her eyes, ears perking slightly as a flock of black birds circles the clearing and lands in the middle of the field. At least they could catch a few of them if nothing else decided to show up. She shifts her weight slightly and stretches her front legs, her tail thumping lightly behind her. She had a terrible patience and was used to just pacing around until something decided to show up.

Raphael crouched down beside Kiche and stilled his muscles. His dark pelt blended with the branch and shadows perfectly, so only his narrowed honey-gold eyes could be seen clearly from the clearing. His ears angled back as they picked up the sound of her tail thumping "What are you, a rabbit?" he whispered. "Some snacks can feel vibrations through the ground so be careful." That said, he watched the black birds as they foraged for seeds and insects in the grass. If they were here that meant other animals definitely would come, and soon. A light wind whistled through the clearing and ran through his pelt, bringing with it a mouth watering scent. Deer were upwind and hopefully coming closer. "So, delta, what's the strategy?"
