Illumi sat in silence, his mouth still clamped on the ear. His muscles had stilled completely and he relaxed into a state where his breathing was shallow and silent, though his ears remained alert. He waited for Killua to surprise the wolves. After all it had been his idea and Illumi was humouring him only. (Lol its a mexican stand off)

Killua waited in annoyance, and then leaped out, a brown blur because of the mud, he tackled the smaller male. "Hmm, dont tell me you thought Id fall for the innocent act, dear cousin" he hummed, sitting on the smaller male's side. "And?-" he lowered his head down near the smaller male's (Coy .-.) head "Sister picked up some rogues again? Tedious." His voice was silky and from his pelt emanated danger, his deep blue eyes staring straight into the depths of the other male's. The dried mud on his pelt made him look matted, but it looked like his pelt was truly colored a deep brown. Hopping off the male, he padded over a few feet and watched them, not even glancing at the woods, as he waited for one of Illumi's always-surprising-and-oh-so-scary (though he was scary when it wasnt expected) entrances.

Kiche's teeth remain clamped around the deer's leg even after it stops moving, her chest heaving as she pants through closed teeth. She glances down and slowly loosens her grip, watching the mangled leg flop to the ground. They had done it. She gleams and stands up, shaking her coat out happily. The deer would provide a nice, much needed meal for the pack. The female walks a few steps away and flops over in the grass on her side, rubbing her bloody cheek with a paw. Now to just drag it all the way back to camp. A soft groan of protest comes from her at the thought.

Coy lets out a loud snarl as he's pushed to the ground, his teeth baring instinctively. When the wolf steps off of him he heaves himself back to his feet, fur bristled in anger. What did this wolf think he was doing? Family member of Shayla or not was he stupid enough to think tackling a stranger was going to do anything but get him a face full of teeth? He snorts and cuts his eyes at the wolf drenched in mud, "Touch me again and I'll have your guts for garters."

Killua glanced at the wolf snarling at him and burst out into laughter "This guy! He looks like a fluffy rabbit! Shay, look at him! Grandmother would be literally trimming his fur with her teeth!" Killua snorted in amusement and flicked his tail (dude you're digging such a hole for yourself, my dear Killua. Apparently his smooth personality has turned into one of instigation for now) at Coy "What's your name, runt?" (And even deeper.)

Killua chuckled calmly "Id be Killua. Son of Nebula and Argent. It seems those sisters of mine are here, so we're hoping they brought news for us." His eyes were stone cold as he glanced at Shayla, not in anger at her but simply boredom "And? Did grandmother mention anything to pass on?" His voice had gone from mocking and arrogant to serious in only a few moments, and his blue eyes hardened.

Shayla frowned and tapped Killua's muzzle with her paw, her eyes narrowed in annoyance "Do you have to be so thick skulled all the time Kilu? Being rude won't get you anywhere and you can hardly tease anyone about being fluffy of all things" She looked at Coy with an apologetic look "Excuse my little cousin. He's a thorn in the paw half the time." Her ears angled towards Kismet "And Killua, this is the beta that Meruem chose, so don't be creepy." A light smile softened her words. Her eyes flicked between the trees "Speaking of creepy where's your other half?" She half expected Illumi to come slinking out of the shadows with that weird poker face he always had on. It contrasted with his song-like voice and gave her the heebijeebees.

Illumi had already left, not having the energy to bother with half hearted growls and snarls. He wanted to punish Killua a little for ruining his fun back at Sunrise Pack anyway. Let him deal with the patrol himself. His nose detected the scents of other wolves and led him to the camp.

Jazzlyn//5 months//Cub

She'd been laying by the large pile of moss when a strange shadow came into view, it morphed into the shape of a wolf, her hetero eyes widened in shock and she bolted towards where her mom was digging. "Mommy mommy!! Theres a strange wolf in the forest!!" She had only caught glimpses of the pure black wolf that was making it's way towards camp, her tri-toned pelt glistening in the sunlight peeping through the trees. -omg so short-

"It's probably just one of the patrollers returning early, go back to work Jazz." She mumbled before walking through the entrance she made and looking around, seeing nothing she shook her head before moving to the next den. Her pelt was covered in dirt by now, the brown particles clinging to her pelt.

Meruem | Alpha

Meruem had finished ripping the ferns from the centre of the 'alphas den' and had lain them in a neat pile to the side. They could be reused later. The bitter taste of the ferns in her mouth made her grimace slightly but she kept on with her work, now smoothing the cool earth so it was more or less flat. Breathing hard from the exertion of the hard work, she sat outside the den and looked at what Isis and Artemis were doing. It looked like they were getting on well with their side of things. Suddenly she heard Jazzlyn's call and her head whipped to the side, scanning the camps borders for this 'strange wolf'. Hackles raised, she strode towards where Jazzlyn had come running from and a growl rose in her throat. "Show yourself," she snapped, green eyes glowing menacingly. A familiar lithe shape stepped forward and she could practically feel the smugness radiating from him. Instantly she relaxed and let out a sigh which was quickly replaced with a small smile. "Illumi. Welcome back."

Raphael let go of the deers throat and clenched and unclenched his jaw, working the stiffness from it. His eyes shone with triumph and he grinned at Kiche, "Nice work. Didn't exactly make it painless for the poor beast though did we?". He swiped his tongue around his muzzle though that only served to spread the blood further over his dark fur. "Now for the worst part; lugging."

Artemis cleared her throat before speaking "Its not a patroller" she muttered smoothly, head still beaneath the ground as she dug out the nursery with her powerful paws. With a huff she clambered out of the hole she'd made and shook off her pelt before giving a bark "Sister dearrr!" She called, her voice unusually silky sweet {Ugh, that was disgusting.} Artemis thought, her eyes narrowing as she swiveled her head towards her sister.

Killua grinned "Ahh, im long-furred, my dear cousin, not fluffy. Theres a difference between having a long fur coat like an arctic wolf's and being fluffy like a little rabbit" he take his tongue. At her mention of Illumi, he gllanced at the treeline and huffed "Apparently he ditched me. I cut his fun short during a raid, so he's mad." He looked at Kismet, measuring him up and down "A former rogue for a beta? Tch! That damn sister of mine is going to get murdered if Father drops by. She's betting on the pack never arriving here because its so far, probably" he snickered. "Well, seems his testing starts now, beother and i will probably have to return home for check ups anyway. Both grandmothers of mine will want to know how the execution of our uncle went. Not gonna lie, he was a disappointment in every way" he started laughing, his laugh sounded bloodthirsty, and his eyes twinkled with half madness as his tongue left his mouth and licked his lips, now looking at the one he had sat on, slowly tilting his head as he let a creepy smile onto his features.

Shayla balked at the mention of his 'uncle'. "Y-you mean Nova?" she said in a strained voice. Her eyes widened, clearly showing hurt. She lowered her gaze and her ears dropped "So you really killed him, huh?" she whispered half to herself. Her heart squeezed in pain and she clenched her jaw. Nova may have betrayed the pack and she couldn't excuse what he had done, but he had done it in a moment of insanity. She had seen it happen and the memory of that day was clear as a bell in her mind. Even without knowing the full truth, Illumi and Killua had still killed Nova in cold blood. (adding more to the Sol background >:D) . What would they have done if the secret hadnt been kept a secret? She shivered to think about it. "Did he die swiftly?" she asked in a colder voice, meeting Killuas eyes again.
