Killua | Gamma

Killua was about to nod his head in greeting, when he gave a small sneeze and rubbed his nose into the ground, "The hell was that.." he grumbled irritably. (XD i had to, it was right there.) Killua glanced up as Meruem chose yet ANOTHER loner to act as beta, and noticed a spiny pelt prickling beside him as Artemis rejoined him, her dark emerald green eyes biting into Meruem from behind. As soon as he realized what was up, he nudged Illumi and flicked his ears at Meruem and Artemis. Seemed those sisters of his werent going to be too friendly for a while, and he noticed with amusement that Meruem kept her gaze away from her sister, her hackles werent bristling, but he could practically feel her awkwardness/unease in excluding her loyal sister. He blinked at Raphael, his eyes burning into the other male, observing his build and wariness, his blue eyes emotionless and calculating, "New blood" he greeted, his voice darker than Illumi's, but the same light pitch.

(Bleh. Okay here goes. short post sorry)

Meruem padded over to Artemis, having just returned from a run with Raphael and a couple of the others. Her flanks rose and fell slightly faster what with being out of breath, but her eyes shone with anticipation. "Artemis, drop everything you are doing. It's time we visited these neighbours of ours." She felt more than heard Raphael walk up beside her like a shadow. She had taught him the skills of ShadowPack over the last two moons and he was nearly as skilled as the pack born wolves now. From his jaws dangled the limp bodies of two rabbits, having caught them on the run. Sure, they may have been over Duskfalls border but what those guys didnt know wouldnt hurt them. Meruems mouth watered at their bloody scent but she didn't go for them. They were gifts after all.

Artemis | Delta

Artemis tilted her head at her sister's request "Aye. Alright alright, don't tread on my tail." She gave a fake smile, which was about as close to a smile as Artemis ever gave. If she ever smiled, it was fake or your imagination...simply put. Artemis glanced at Killua and Illumi, the former of which had accepted Raphael quickly once he had shown his adept skills at silence and usefulness, "And? What about them? They explained what happened, so do we take either of them for gloating or leave them both here for laying low? Personally I'd love to show off our strength a little...but i understand that until we get our techniques updated, itd be best if we didnt provoke a few larger packs...by the way, about Kismet, you also sent him for more recruits, yeah?"

Meruem | Alpha | Mentions all wolves
Meruem followed her sisters gaze to their yin and yang pelted brothers. "Those two are staying here. Illumi wouldn't say a word even if we brought him and I don't trust Killua to not gloat even a little. We want their trust, not their hatred." she stated firmly. "As for Kismet, I will be announcing a beta to take his place when we return. He is a fine second in command but if we are to being interacting with Duskfall and Sunrise, I will need a close advisor." Her dark eyes met Artemis', not showing any emotion. "You are to take Raphael and Iris to Duskfall. Myself, Kiche and Shayla will go to Sunrise." She flicked her black tipped tail at Artemis and continued "Remember, NO nastiness, NO mention of our brothers. Be friendly, warm and welcoming. Raphael will tell me if you take matters into your own paws." A cruel smile crossed her face and her eyes glowed menacingly "Their fall will be greater from a place of betrayal and surprise. Can I trust you to fake it for a while?"

Artemis | Delta

Artemis groaned as Meruem spoke, but she gave a genuine evil smile - the only kind she really could give - at the mention of betrayal and the packs' fall. "Hehehe...my dear sister, whenever i feel you have abandoned our puphood teachings, you return with something far greater than i could wish for." She nodded, and bowed her head low "Ah..i shall fake it. Theyll never be the wiser." She glanced at Raphael and Iris, jerking her head towards the exit of camp "Move out!" She barked, loping towards the exit and out of the camp. She bounded silently through the forests, and neared the border.

(Should we switch to duskfall and meet up with a suspicious Pyre?)

Isis flicked her ears up at the mention of her name, she'd be going to Duskfall then. A smirk etched on her lips before she turned to the yin yang brother, "You two." She said with a slight snort, "If either of you harm a hair on Jazzlyn's head... Lets just say.. You won't ever have pups." Her warning was clear as day, her gaze shifting between the two before to Jazz, "You ma'am. Behave." She said before turning to follow Artemis towards the Duskfall border.

Jazzlyn looked to her mom, nodding at the statement, when her mom was made it was not a pretty sight. She was sure before she was born her mom skinned a few wolves and used their pelts for bedding. Jazz looked around, she hadn't trained since yesterday but decided to shred more moss and sharpen her claws and teeth on random things found around camp. The 6 month old cub bounded around camp with moss hanging from her jaws. Clearing the old moss and replacing it with new.

Illumi | Gamma | Mentions Jazz
Illumi raised a paw in a mock salute "On my honor," he said almost cheerfully, his dark eyes shining with delight at her threat. He watched Jazz run around the camp with the moss and had an idea. Standing, he silently padded over to the young cub and after another moment of watching her said, "How would you like some real training today, Jazzlyn? I happen to be a very good teacher." At least he wasnt lying when he said that. Illumi may not know how to handle pup at all but he certainly knew how to train them. He had been a mentor to several young ones in ShadowPack when he had just graduated to Gamma himself.

Meruem looked at Killua "Watch over the camp and howl if anything goes wrong. I trust you to take care of any minor problems.." she let the implication of her words hang in the air for a moment before swiftly turning and padding away, Shayla close behind and already beginning to chat.
