Killua dipped his head to his sister and cracked a smile at Isis "Yes, madam" he had begun to like Isis and Jazzlyn as well, the pup had spirit and mayb some potential, and the mother was fiery and liked to threaten them at any chance she got. Killua padded over to his brother "Ah! Ill be joining you then, the pup is our priority since most of the adult wolves are going out now."

Jazzlyn froze as the black and white brothers loomed over her, fur prickling slightly with uncertainty as they approached. At the mention of training however all other things vanished. "Oh can we please?!" She said while jumping up once or twice before plopping down on her haunches with her tongue rolling out of her mouth. -shorttt-

Illumi waved his tail towards the half eaten carcass of a rabbit nearby. "Let's see your best stalk," he said with a jovial tone as to not scare the young wolf. He smiled at her, though the warmth didn't reach his pitch black eyes. They were focused like a hawk on the pup. "By the time your mother comes back, you'll be a pro."

Jazz looked towards a half eaten rabbit, her nose scrunching before lowering slightly. The mention of being a pro had her repositioning slightly and stalking towards the rabbit, obviously a few things were wrong but not much surprisingly. Her paws made little-to-no noise as they crept across the ground, she nearly stumbled over her own paws but caught herself and continued forwards. She slowed, imagining the rabbit being alive and getting alerted by the soft scuffle her claws made, she froze and waggled her haunches before launching forwards her teeth connecting with the untouched rump and ripping savagely back.

Illumi was impressed by the potential the young wolf was showing already. It was more than some pack-born had. He said, "Move with the noises around you. Step the moment a leaf falls to the ground, crouch when a branch creaks somewhere in the forest. When your movements become one with your surroundings you will be invisible." He flicked his ears, indicating the sounds of the forest that surrounded them. His tail tapped hers "And in the moment before you attack, remain absolutely still. Remove all thoughts from your mind and don't take a single breath. When all is blank but the prey, then you leap. Until then you do not move, even to perfect your aim. That will come with practice. When you remove your presence from your own mind you will cease to exist to the enemy , and that is when you will be in full control." His voice was cool and detached, reciting lessons that had been drilled into him from the moment he could walk and understand language. With a flick of his paw, he sent the rabbit flying across the camp. "Try again, Jazz. I know you can do it." His smile he gave her was one of encouragement and warning. Illumi didn't like giving second chances.

Jazz snorted as the rabbit was flung from her grasp, her blue/brown eyes boring into Illumi's for a moment before sighing and walking a few steps away from him before dropping into a low crouch, her ears up and alert. A soft rustling nearby had her ears flickering in that direction and she took a few uneasy steps forwards, listening quietly as the wind blew on a branch, her eyes never left the carcass but she could tell it would rip a leaf or two from the sturdy branch. Her tail flickered slightly before a branch nearby crashed to the ground, she lowered further before stepping again, each time something would give the slightest sound of hitting the earth she'd step forwards. Moments later she was before the rabbit again, eyes watching the rabbit with a soft inhale and exhale. Her multi-toned fur doing nothing to blend into the camp's scenery, but she pushed the thoughts away. Doing as the older wolf said and freezing, pushing every single thought down and surpressing it, her body froze, almost as if she was unable to move then was suddenly erupting of the ground, her hindlegs slamming up and forwards, teeth once again locked around the rabbit, though she nearly missed it that time.

Illumi circled the cub, his a light of joy dancing in his onyx eyes. The art of suppressing ones presence was one learned as soon as possible and he had put into practice every waking moment as a pup until he did it without conscious effort. It was the culprit behind his ability to seemingly appear from nowhere and disappear with the shadows again, and a needed skill in his line of duty for the pack. From birth he, Killua and Artemis had been trained as assassins for ShadowPack in order to lay down an example for the trouble makers of the pack. The stealthier approach to killing was his forte and he knew what to look for in potential students. "You're a natural," he purred when Jazzlyn caught the 'prey'. "If I hadn't been looking right at you I wouldn't have detected your movements at all. I'll admit that you are more suited for this than I originally thought." All that's missing is the bloodlust of hunting another live being. It seems a hunt is in order, soon.

Killua smirked, practically picking up on Illumi's mischievous thoughts "Hmm, i know what you're thinking, can we can we??" He inclined his head towards Illumi and murmured "Hey kid, would you like to get trained as an assassin? You get to travel, win fights, and do good for your pack. Illumi has taken a liking to your natural skills, which doesnt happen too often, you know." He winked at her "Of course, you'll always belong to shadowpack unless you've been given an assignment, which means youll get to hang out with any of your friends, and if you choose to retire, the pack wont judge you and youll simply be a very powerful fighter for the pack."

Jazzlyns excited gaze flickered between the two wolves, both of them seemingly impressed with whatever skills she showed. Her head raised at the mention of being an assassin... Killing things? COOL! "Yes!!!!!" She didn't really have 'friends' as she would've scared most of them off but what they were talking about sounded awesome!! -short DX-

Illumi smiled at his brothers words, feeling pride warm his chest and give him a softer expression than usual "It is not a path taken lightly, little cub," he lilted, his eyes boring into hers. "It is very dangerous and you may not have the pleasure of a job for many moons at a time. After tasting what an assassin does you may grow bored with an idler lifestyle, and there are many emotional and mental dangers to be considered as well. Cutting yourself off from your heart may be the only way to succeed." He remembered being forced to do that as a pup himself, 2 years ago. Crushing the throat of the cat that had wondered into their domain had been the trigger to his detachment from his humanity, and his vice like loyalty to his family. "We will bring you a test tomorrow morning. If you pass it then I shall put all my faith in your future as my fellow assassin. How does that sound?"

Jazzlyn listened intently to what the giant male was saying, her once happy expression dropping into one of seriousness. "It sounds awesome!" Doing all those things already proved to be strangely fun for the pup who was now looking up at the yin yang brothers hiding her cheeriness well. -short D:-

Illumi snorted and threw an amused look at Killua "She sounds like you little brother!". He looked at Jazzlyn again, his cold stare perhaps a bit warmer this time, and held out his paw to her "It's a deal then. And try not to tell your mother. Keeping secrets is another part of your training!" (short too..)

Jazzlyn flicked her ears up, "I will!" Her gaze flickered between the two, dancing on her paws before springing into the forest and soon disappearing in the shadows. "Look at me!! Im invisible!!!!" Her small howl sounded before all noise from the pup disappeared. Her shoulder wiggling as she backed quietly into a bush smelling of pine and flowers. She crouched down lowly into it, a small smile playing on her features.

Killua snorted "Little? Huh! I might be smaller physically, but I'm not any smaller than you" he chuckled and nudged him "We got a stealth assassin in training on ours paws!! This is great!" Leaning towards his brother "Were not telling Meru or Shay, right? I have a feeling neither of them would be very enthusiastic about this."

"Shayla will tell the bears and the birds all the way to RiverPack if she knows. Meruem won't have a problem with it. She's helped me train cubs before," Illumi shrugged. He trotted to the clearing edge and peered into the forest where Jazz had disappeared, his pupils dilating as he gazed into the twilight dark. Hide and seek? Why not . "How long can you stay invisible?" he mused outloud and stepped into the treeline.
