I thought I'd post this here, since I see so many people who see no improvement in their own art, even though in reality you're improving every time you draw. This is the improvement I've made in the space of a year. January 2015 January 2016  You WILL get better, please have total faith in yourself and practise. Hope you don't mind I mention this Rix but guys I met Rix years ago and i saw her art and tried to be friends with her so that we could crit on each others art and improve - daily, and she got incredibly good eventually in few years, despite not always having a lot of time to art. She's a good example that you don't have to practive every day, but if you keep drawing let's say dogs, lots of them, study photos, and spend a lot of time and attention, even during weekends only, you can get really good. 0 players like this post! Your improvement is amazing, Feather! Congratulations on making such great progress with your art! I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon too :o Here is a reference of my fursona I drew recently. Truthfully, there are still things I think I could fix a bit here and this is from 2015! And here is a character reference from 2012. Not the same species, and I don't really think the old one is too bad but I think my style has evolved a lot. Here are some more comparisons: Here is a Jolteon painting I also did in 2012 And recent: An Umbreon an Eevee and better painting style and another and another Lots of links because I really didn't wanna post all of those as images! I've been drawing for around 8 years and when my art first started out it was AWFUL lemme tell ya but i still wanted to draw because it was fun for me. I didnt care if people didnt like my art and i knew i had tons of room to improve! I still have loads of room to improve on my art and I intend to work on it still. Just because my art isn't 100% perfect and realistic and some people don't like my art doesn't mean im going to just give up and scream n yell that everyone elses art sucks ass and mine sucks too because that isn't true.
