I thought I'd post this here, since I see so many people who see no improvement in their own art, even though in reality you're improving every time you draw. This is the improvement I've made in the space of a year. January 2015 January 2016  You WILL get better, please have total faith in yourself and practise. Jesus, snowball, that art is incredible. I saw someone post that final commish on chat and I'm hella glad I know who the artist is now! Fantastic work! Dam, the first one was amazing already! I just looked through all the pages aaa I saw so many improvements ;w; Been drawing for almost 7 years now, started with wolves then anime style humans, then cats, horses, etc Now I can draw just about any animal if I try hard enough. Except for female humans lol I can only draw male humans ages 15-30 February 2015 April 2016 2015 was a bit of a roller coaster, I kept changing my style and going back and forth with Photoshop, Paint Tool SAI and Krita for outlining/coloring. Now I just stick to Krita for everything April 2013I was asking for a redline back then lol, it's my horse oc Gin but this is his new look now This is my most recent horse drawing  My dA Gallery I don't really feel like I've improved much, I used to outline and color everything nice but now I can't even get myself past the sketches so I just color it in and leave it as that. I guess I deteriorated instead, I need to stop that lol 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ah man I didn't know this thread existed ;u; to be honest I could spend all day looking at people's improvements. It makes me so happy to see how much people improved even just over a few months! @Fizzy: You've improved quite a lot! :o from anatomy to coloring. It looks absolutely wonderful <3 keep up the great work! 2015  2016  I've also been doing more 3D work :o I'm hoping to start on animals/people soon. I think I have truly decided it. A long time ago, I was huge on drawing, I wanted to draw every chance I had gotten and I wanted to pursue it so badly. But in 7th grade my art teacher told me it would be best to drop it, that she saw no improvement and she didn't want me wasting my time or hers. So I dropped it all. I quit. - But I think, I want to pick up my sketch book again, I want to pick up my studies (I had several books regarding anatomy, sketchies, ect.) and try this once more, with a clear mind. - Perhaps, if I find myself improving, I will invest in a tablet for the future. Dunno. Future has yet to be written. c: I wanted to thank everyone on this post, for giving me the muse for doing this once more. 0 players like this post! Like? |
