Lexa ignored all the ruckus and when she approached they raised their spears and pointed them towards her. A few spare guards who had joined the small group immediately drew their swords and stood in front of Lexa prospectively. "Am act of war. For you assume this happened just because? This man tried to kill Heda and was granted punishment." He spat at the men who tried to turn this on them. Lexa cleared her throat slightly which made her guard go silent knowing to say no more, "You are lucky this man hadn't successful killed me or the whole town would be dead and mind who you are speaking to." she hissed to to the men at the gate as they waited for Leon. She knew she wasn't suppose to kill him, but if he would have been stronger he would have survived so it wasn't fully her at fault. Her cold narrow eyes watched as the guards stood tall and were going to make sure nothing got to her.

Lexa could scenes Leon coming as he soon appeared in front of them. He seemed to already know what was going on and seemed a little upset about what had occurred. "For I did not display his punishment but only the result. He came after me and that means he fell under my punishment no matter what, I was attacked, I get justice." she said as she stepped past her guards who tensed and unwillingly let her through out of the protection of their bodies. Her narrowed eyes met his, so there was a darker side to him, she knew it was there and figured it would take a little to get it out but know she knew. She stood tall unwilling to back down as she motion her guards forward with the body. "Do you want him or not." she said lowly almost as a growl.

Lexa could see it on their verge of coming out, and that's what she was trying to do, trying to get him to set off. She noted his clenched fist and the small fire in his eyes as he whipped around and called for his second. Hands clasped behind her back, Lexa stood tall and watched as a soft rustling as she appeared and did what she was told. Lexa watched with narrow eyes, that's what she had been waiting to see the fire in his eyes, now she knew it was there, now she knew that is could be done.

Costia was soon to the scene but stood off towards the back as she watched her Commander truly get angry. Hearing her name she hurried to him and gave him a nod followed by a "Yes sir." As she hurried off to do as she was told. She had never seen that happen to any of their past commanders especially not Leon, she could finally see what the main thing the West Clan could possibly be capable of, bring out the bad in the best of people, even for just a moment but they knew how to do it.

**Time skip**

Lexa had only seen Leon at glimpses in the past weeks as training went on. She had been looking over the map of their lands, pre planning almost when she got news from a guard someone was here to deliver a message. She turned away from the table and motioned for him to be brought in and she was rolled that the Commander wanted to see her. She nodded and glanced back at the map once last time before leaving. It was the day before they were leaving and things were beginning to be packed and ready to go. The East Clan fighters had come a long way yet still had a little farther to go. Lexa walked through the gates and to their capitol building where she made her way to his wuarters. A guard opened the door into the room for her and she walked in and looked around for Leon until she caught sight if him, "You sent for me..." she said her voice even and she waited to hear what he had to say to her. These were the first words she had spoken since the death of the man.

Lexa's gaze was on him as he started out the window and began to speak. At first she said nothing and then she decided to speak up, "I wouldn't expect you to understand..... It wasn't the pain it caused me, I have felt with a lot more injuries like broken bones and stabbings. I did it for my people. Justice is something that must be given and taken care or and to my people any small sign of weakness will get me killed and they are always looking, and especially in this case. The day before arriving here I was challenged, my people rose against me and they played the price with a fight to the death and punishment to the initiator." Lexa paused for only a brief moment before she continued. "I made a decision my people tried to kill me for and still think about it if I don't deal with things the correct way. If I would have given you the man alive I would have been seen as weak and Lord knows what they would have done. I did it for not only my safety but also for this clan for any other person to be commander now while here would have brought hell and made sure there was no man, women nor child left alive." She voice rise slightly at some parts as she spoke explaining her actions. She didn't expect him to understand but she also didn't expect him to not understand. Her cool gaze glued to him and waited in silence.

Lexa knew that her people were being more on the behaved side here, they know that should would and will bring her wrath if anything she does not approve of is done. "As for fear it's what keeps us alive. Keeps you from doing that one stupid thing that you know could kill you. It's what my people use against others to make sure they stay in their place. No harm is to come to those who do fear for they keep themself in line while the bold face the consequences. You may think our ways are harsh and cruel but it's how we survive. Just like you with your clan. All we want is for our people to survive. Life is only about surviving down here but I can't help but think some times. Maybe life should be about more then just surviving...don't we deserve better than that.." Lexa's voice almost softened towards the end. Her eyes trailed off and down to the side as she thought for long moments before she pushed them away and moved her gaze back to Leon.

Lexa's listened to him a and her gaze was moved to his. A trail of thoughts ran thorough her before she began to put the words in the right order and speak. "Then how do you explain what you did here. No one was to ever think the Commanders of different clans would be working together. Nothing is impossible and nothing can't be done. It will tear you down and will face you with huge challenges but that's what got us here. I called upon my people to join me with you and they resisted but that's why we are here. To show them it's okay or to make them believe it's okay. In battle it's foundered why we are so savage and heartless is because of what we do as commander to get them through it alive. It's what we are here to do even if it means being alone and everyone fearing you, you do it for them, no exception."

Lexa's gaze searched Leon's seeing he was in thought. She moved around the room and stood in front of the small window where she looked out of it, her hands still clasped behind her back and her back facing Leon. "To be Commander is to be alone. Just as yours for the influence of one you care for could distract you from duty. You put yourself on the line by opening up and you put the life of the individual on the line, having them know all you tell, I found that out the hard way.." she said lightly before moving on. "Maybe one day you and I won't own anything more to our people. But that is something that takes only time and the only thing we can do is guide. That matter has little to do with us, but what are people are wanting to do. Though I believe it may not come as soon as just that act of us but it might have to if it is ever to happen." she didn't like thinking about the future, she had never lived out of the moment. A small breeze was coming in from the window as she looked over the clan that wasn't her own.
