Summer is slightly on the taller side, and is about six feet tall. She has very delicate features, but her red hair is just as fiery as her personality. She is light-skinned, and has striking, light blue eyes. She has a fairly lithe figure, but is not without curves. She is able to move elegantly and swiftly, but isn't the strongest of people. Personality:
Summer might seem like a friendly person at first glance, but as soon as someone does or says something that upsets her, she won't be afraid to give them a piece of her mind, and she can be quite scary when she's mad. She is a very independent person, and likes doing most things by herself instead of getting help; but when she does work in groups, she doesn't like being a follower, and she'd rather be at the front of the group. She hates getting orders from others, and if she's told to do something that she doesn't want to, she can become very moody and childish. She's a natural leader and has a way with words. She's a good friend, she always looks out for her loved ones with care and generosity, and she'll protect them with her life. Unfortunately, she's very stubborn and impatient. She also has quite the temper, and it would be wise not to approach her while she's having a tantrum.

Brief History:
There isn't very much to say about Summer's past. She lived quite a good life back at home. Her parents were both very rich, and she was the only child they had, so she got all of their attention. She spent most of her time playing with her dog, Diaval, and sword sparring with her father. As she got older, though, she started to feel like her life was boring. She never got to go out much, because her parents kept her inside most of the time. That didn't stop her from sneaking outside on her horse, in search of an adventure. At night she often ventured off into the woods, where she eventually found a large dragon called Calanon. She quickly became friends with him, and visited him as much as possible. Her parents eventually found out and tried to ban her from seeing him, but after seeing how attached she was to the dragon, they allowed her to keep him, and sent her off to Dririam.

Sword Description:
A large, wide, barbed blade made of obsidian is held by a grip wrapped in extremely rare, brown snake leather. Because it only has a razor-sharp point this weapon is the ideal choice to turn your enemies into Swiss cheese. The blade has a small, curled cross-guard, offering just enough protection to the owner's hands, as well as adding a weight balance to the blade. The cross-guard has a jeweled snake on each side, the cost of this weapon must have been high. A small pommel is decorated with a rare gem that is dark red in color, no expense is spared for this gorgeous weapon. The blade itself is engraved. Intricate decorational patterns have been carefully etched into the blade, the blade needs no decorations, it only needs to be strong and sharp. She's very proud of this sword, and has even named it "Bloodvenom, the Obsidian Sword".

Bow Description:
This decent compound crossbow has been well constructed of magnificent willow. Its string is made from deluxe deer hide, it's a very rare material around these parts of the world. The limbs have been decorated with ebony details and end in slight curves shaped like talons. The stock is wrapped in hide and decorated with ominous carvings. The narrow quiver is made from thick leather and is supposed to be worn around the archer's back. The outer side has been decorated with ivory animal parts, which must be there for more than just decoration. In the hands of any archer this bow is capable of firing arrows up to 131 meters while still retaining lethal power.

Shield Description:
This powerful pointed kite shield, made from steel, offers a forceful safeguard, especially against slashing attacks and smaller ballistics. Not the work of a mere amateur, as this shield is made out of some of the finest metals, and it was obviously very expensive. The shield's edges are enhanced with thick metal plating and have been decorated with red gems. Its center is ornamented with painted symbols and several gem stones. It's clear this shield has yet to see its first battle. With a full life ahead of it, who knows if this shield is going to get a chance to shine in battle, but one this is for sure: this shield can overcome anything.

Armor Description:
This set of armor has a helmet with a face guard with two pointed holes leaving the eyes minimally exposed. Attached to its side are two small horns which curve backwards, one of which is partially broken. The shoulders are fairly pointy, quite narrow and huge. On each side, the shoulders are decorated with a snake's head with blood red gems for eyes. The upper arms are protected by pointed, half covering rerebraces which sit loosely under the shoulderplates. The lower arms are covered by vambraces which have several metal rings attached to the outer sides. The breastplate is made from many diagonal layers of leather and fur with squared edges and decorational pieces. It covers only the front, the back is where the attachment straps are and they offer no real protection. The upper legs are covered by a skirt of horizontal layers of leather and fur reaching below the groin. The front is open. The lower legs are protected by leather shin guards which have layers of spiky crafted leather creating the appearance of horn-like extensions. Thin leather pants are worn beneath this all.

Dragon Name Pronunciation: Kahl-ah-non

Special Ability: Can control and create snow, ice and wind, which Summer finds funny because he is also a Land dragon, and can create fire

Description of Dragon:

Calanon is twenty-two years old, and he is a huge dragon that is built like a tank. He is a little less forty feet tall and two-hundred feet long. While his huge size makes him very strong and intimidating, it also means that he can't pick up speed very easily, and he can be clumsy at times. His scales are a mixture of white and grey, and while they look quite dull in darker places, they shine like diamonds in the sunlight. He has no horns, but he does have spikes on his head, chest, back, and on the tip of his tail. His unprotected spots that are easier to bite into are his stomach and the area under his wings, so he tries to protect these places very well in battle. What others have to watch out for when fighting this dragon is his spiked tail, which he often uses like a whip. His eyes are a misty grey color, and he appears to have no pupils.

Personality of Dragon:
Calanon is the opposite of Summer, and he helps to balance out her hot-temper. He has a very calm aura, and it's a rare sight to see this dragon throwing a tantrum, unlike his owner. He's very mature, and is the one that keeps Summer out of trouble. He's also intelligent and quick-witted, instead of panicking in a difficult situation, he'll think of a plan as quickly as possible, to try and solve the problem. He's very protective of those he's close to, and does whatever he can to make sure that no harm comes to them. Some annoying things about him, though, is that he can be very vague when giving information, and he likes to speak in riddles. He also doesn't like drawing much attention to himself, and prefers to stay in the background.

Name: Alexander Amestris
Age: 23
Appearance:
Alex is a pretty tall man, easily standing at six-foot-five. His eyes and hair are the trademarks of any pureblooded Amestris: grey color. His hair is kept cropped short and looks stylishly messy. The color of his eyes doesn't signify any change in eyesight; Alex actually has quite good vision, unlike his father. His skin is yellow-brown in color, tanned, and his facial structure is average for an Asian man, but with a more squared-off chin and wider jaw. His body build is pretty heavy, and he is noticeably muscled and weighs in at over 210 pounds.

His rider's mark appears on his back, and is quite similar to the spindly wings Koh has, and stands out in the color of scarred flesh.
Personality:
Quite the caring and kind individual, Alex is... complex to say the least. he tries his best to be kind to people, but often get anxious and sad when he figures out people were only nice to him or afraid of him because of his affiliation. He's got quite a focus on what others think, and reacts very negatively when he assumes it is negative (which is more often than he'd like). He does have a love for like plants, fossils, and playing string instruments; though his combination of anxiety and depression interferes with these hobbies. Someday he'll be able to help people, but he first needs to get past the idea he can't help everyone and that not everyone will like him, no matter how hard he tries to get them. He has intense trouble actually hurting people for the aforementioned reasons, and even insulting them is liable to make him anxious.

His relationship with his dragon is complex, as Koh can easily overpower his mind with his own thoughts and simply terrorize him that way. Alex entertains the thought of just outright killing the dragon, and sooner rather than later.
Brief History:
Born into a rich trader family, Alex had been instructed in the basics of managing money and appraising goods, but he never was good at the social aspect of the job, much to his parents' distraught. His parents leapt at the chance to have him permanently disposed by being a dragon rider, especially after Artemis and Apollo were born. Even if this cost them the price of a rare dragon egg, with the twins already showing better social aptitude than Alex, it was a risk well taken.

Alex has an inkling of why they left him to handle the dragon egg alone and then sent him off without anything, but he initially was fine with putting space between the suffocating atmosphere of home and himself. Koh's personality is rapidly changing that.

Sword/Bow Description:
Alex's sword and bow are of academy issue, nothing much else.

His sword's just about under a meter long, making it border on the term of longsword. It's not particularly well balanced for him.

Bow is of simple, supple maple, nothing too fancy.

Academy-issued leathers. They're a bit tight on him due to his huge size, and he's trying to alter them without damaging them.

Special Ability:
Relatively simple: Koh appears to exhibit the ability to manipulate earth and water. His breath is most often steam, though at times it does turn into black smoke. He cannot breathe fire or water.
Description of Dragon:
About a few weeks old, Koh is already larger than even the most massive horses. He is stony grey in color, with the relative musculature of an average hatchling and an appetite to match. He's already looking to set a record size for his adult size. His horns are starting to grow in, and his face is drawn, eyes sunken, and looks more like the skull of a cow than a dragon's. For teeth, Koh interestingly has a mix of tearing teeth in the front, and grinding molars in the back, making him omnivorous as they grow in. His tail seems to hold a lot of his non-muscular bulk, and is quite thick already. He doesn't seem to have wings, simply spindly, insect-leg-like protrusions on the back, numbering 6.
Personality of Dragon:
Already extremely aggressive, Koh has a strong desire of becoming one of the strongest drakes in the world. He has a tendency to pick fights with dragons even bigger than him, and holds grudges when he is beaten. He's a bit too violent, and can even attack his rider, though he does have to take care not to injure him, and is starting to develop a bit of a protective personality over his "liability". Though thoughts, it is quite clear Koh despises Alex, hoping to have bonded to a rider with more ambition, and was stuck with the worst possible outcome.

Age: 28

Appearance: Maeve is tall, standing at about six feet, and well-built, with broad shoulders and a strong body made to work. Her hair is dark and cut short to keep it out of her face when she fights; she has a pretty bone structure, full lips, and wide, dark hazel eyes.Picture Source: Pinterest

Personality: Maeve has been and always will be serious. As the eldest of four siblings, and the daughter of a soldier, it was her duty to look out for her sisters and not cause a fuss. Now, that's been carried over as she has been tasked with teaching children and their dragons how to fight--and possibly die--for the military. She's rather no-nonsense, though she tries her hardest to be kind. She's seen a lot, and she's sure that she'll see a lot more before she dies. She's more than willing to donate free time to help out a struggling student, and she often likes to invite her favorite students to her personal quarters for tea and a chat when they're available. She often has trouble sleeping at night, plagued by the memories of those who have died at her hand.

Brief History: Maeve was the firstborn child of Micah Morlock, a soldier who trained cavalrymen, and his wife, Raisa. As such, she grew up around the military and horses. Her father hoped to have a son, but he gave up after having four daughters. She was raised with the expectation that she too would marry a soldier and become a military wife, and her parents were only slightly surprised when she herself enlisted. Because of her background with animals and her skill in riding horses, she trained as a dragon rider, quickly making a name for herself as a distinguished and skilled flier and fighter. She served on the front lines for several years, before being reassigned as an instructor at Dririam.

Special Ability: Sound wave generation. Hildegard is able to produce a shrieking sonic blast, which at long distances causes pain in the ears and can stun enemies or cause intense vertigo. At very close ranges, it can deafen or even kill them. In enclosed spaces, she is able to use echolocation, and she is able to project and amplify sounds near her--for example, Maeve's voice when she is yelling at foolish younglings learning fight.

Description of Dragon: Hildegard is a handsome beast, with shining metallic scales the color of gunmetal. Her underbelly is a slightly lighter shade of grey. She has sharp spines along parts of her body, and two tall, curving horns protrude from the top of her head. A long scar stretches down her left side, underneath her wing--a reminder of her time serving on the front lines. She is about 18 years old. She is 28 feet tall and 130 feet long.Picture Source

Personality of Dragon: Hildegard often comes across as aloof. It's not that she doesn't care, honestly--or maybe that's exactly it. She's tired of coddling spoiled younglings with god complexes that inevitably end up dead. If you're doing something stupid, Hilde is sure to tell you straight up. If you can get past her prickly exterior, she's kind and actually funny, but she's tired of trying to make friends when they're going to die on the front lines anyway. It's nothing against them, she just doesn't find corpses much fun to spend time with.

Name: Killian "Lee" Mercier (Kill-Le-on Mare-see)

Age: 20

Appearance: All brawn and no brains sums up Lee. A tall, broad, muscular farm boy who worked on the farm for as long as he could remember. Laborious work in the fields has baked him to a gorgeous copper tone that make his green eyes pop. His black hair long enough to run his large hands through, the front being a little longer than the rest to give it a little flare when he's not wearing a hat. A short, well kept beard runs along his square jaw, and forms a goatee on his chin. A good ole fashioned corn fed boy, standing at 6' 5.

His mark is on his right arm, up to his shoulder, and the tips of it going onto his neck, making it peak it out people. and get their interest. Picture || Source

Personality: He may not be too bright, but he's got a heart of gold. He wants to help when he can, but his lack of brains can sometimes affect that. Though it doesn't take brains to be courageous and brave, which he has no problem doing. A rather simple guy to be honest.

Brief History: Born and raised on a rather large farm, he grew up as a good ole fashioned corn fed boy. His dad was in the army, and was killed in battle just a few short months ago, and he decided to join himself, and hopefully get a chance to bring honor to their name again.

Sexuality: Bisexual

Sword Description: Using his father's sword. A worn and damaged sword, with the family crest carved into it, and filled with diamonds, with a dinged up pummel, and the end of the handle has a spear like head on it, to use in stealth attacks or quick executions if stabbed into the base of the skull, severing the spine.

Shield Description: Also his father's, a large kite shape shield with jewels on each point, with the crest in it just like the sword, will vine like etchings bordering the shield, but many dings and dents in it, many from his father's final battle.

Armor Description: Leather pants, with a chain mail shirt, with a metal piece to slip on over, and shoulder pieces. His right shoulder has a pyramid like construction on it, used for shoulder charging, and breaking down doors. Picture||Source

Three claws on each of her paw. An older dragon at 22 years old, 27 ft at her shoulder and 40 ft at the top of her head. 270 ft long, with wings that are 180 ft long. Picture & Source

Personality of Dragon: Very motherly to her rider, and being all the brains in the duo. Doing the thinking for the both of them, she still loves her rider. She is neutral around other dragons and humans, but don't take her calmness as weakness. She's not afraid to protect herself, and her rider. But once you prove yourself to her she can be warm and friendly, and offers wisdom as well. A slightly complex demeanor about her, but she will let you know where you stand with her.

Name: Charlotte Maria Rousseau

Age: 16

Appearance: Charlotte is a slightly short girl, standing at about 5'4" in height. Her skin is mocha/caramel-looking, and her roundish, soft looking face is accompanied by several dozen darker freckles. Her hair is dark brown, soft and very curly, right about shoulder length, or slightly longer. Her eyes are brown-hazel, with some gray around the iris.

Personality: Charlotte is quite the optimist. She likes to think she can always find a bright, or positive attitude for something. She can be somewhat passive and non-confrontational, so this may alter her opinion on things, in fear of getting somebody angry. She enjoys making friends, but can sometimes have an awkward time doing so. She can sometimes be a bit loud, or get overexcited easily, making her get distracted and unfocused often. As such, she finds it hard to pay attention and learn new things.

Brief History: Charlotte grew up with her father, older sister, and younger brother, in a cozy wooded area. She was taught to be polite and have manners, and to set a good example for her brother. She was very focused on her education, but found it tiring and not as exciting as she wanted it to. Because of this, she enrolled to Dririam.

Bow Description: Her bow is mainly made with Osage wood, and has a sleek, yet firm look. Otherwise, it has the shape of an average bow. (i'm rly sorry i know nothing abt bows lmao)

Shield Description: Her shield is rounded in shape and was made out of wood and iron. It seems to be quite sturdy, despite the age of it.

Armor Description: Charlotte's armour is basically chain plate, made of the simple iron. The chest and arm plates are leather, while the rest of the chain and shoulder plates are iron metal.

Special Ability: Thermal control and adaption (The ability to chance his body temperature at will, or his body will naturally do so in harsh conditions. A few scales are heat-sensitive, and change colour accordingly).

Description of Dragon: Standing at 18ft high and 98ft long, and quite sleek-looking, at seventeen years old, Ashook is a sooty-gray scales along his body, and a very slight tint of colour running and swirling a bit down his side and back. Head frills are metallicly silver at the tips, and his horns are curved and are white. He has small, dull spikes along his back, but get slightly sharper as they near the tail. At the tip of his tail, he has thin, needle like spines. He has scaled points on his feet, snout, and tail which range from black to white, depending on his temperature. Pitch black meaning the absolute coldest body temperature, white meaning the hottest.

Personality of Dragon: Ashook is snarky and ill-mannered. While he cares about and serves his rider, to an extent when he isn't being mischievous, he can be difficult to handle with other dragons. He's competitive, and has a knack for causing trouble. However, when needed he has the potential to be mature. For ones close to him, he has an easier time being relaxed and not riled up.
