Frostflight felt herself ease when she saw the she-cat's excited expression, she smiled when Lynx spoke highly of her pelt. "I'm Frostflight," she said, her ears flicking inquisitively as the newcomer spoke. She turned to Nightfang "... border scent..." She murmured, the realization hitting her after a moment of silence
"of course, no I don't think that's your fault, gosh its been ages since the last border patrol." She moved slightly closer to Nighfang, hoping to Starclan that she was making the right choices. "Don't worry, there will be no war, trust me we've had quite enough of that recently." Although there was a hint of humor in her voice just the thought of the rogues returning turned her blood to ice. "You talk about lynxes a lot, almost as if you knew them..?" She inferred, curious to find out where the she-cat came from.

Lynks looked at Frostflight. "Well yes I am after all a Lynx, I just didn't grow to be as big as one. " She said a hint of sadness in her voice. "Mother said I was special in this way." Her voice brightening up again. "That is why my mother named me Lynks so others will know I am." She said her bobbed tail still wagging.

He just stood there as the strange cat circled Frostflight and then sat near Shadestep. He had saw her look at him and wondered why she did.. she didn't seem hostile but, there was no way of knowing this was a trick.. he just kept silent as they talked, ready to pounce if needed. He was tense and it was obvious, he was uncomfortable with the new cat and even when Frostflight spoke to him, his eyes were still on the new cat who called herself Lynx.. her mom was a Lynx? Then why was she here and not where Lynx lived.. which was very far away from here. His tail slightly touched Frostflight's as she moved closer, he was trying to make himself feel better as well as Frostflight. He wondered why Shadestep hadn't chased the cat out yet.. she was not in their clan so she shouldn't be here.. even though he so badly wanted to just be done with this, just chase the intruder out, he stayed put and silent. His odd eyes never leaving the new cat, not in a good way either...

Frostflight hoped she hadn't made Lynks upset by mentioning her family, she smiled warmly "we're all unique in one way or another. Plus, it's whats on the inside that counts, some cats' egos are just so thick they have trouble seeing through them." She leaned in a little closer to the she-cat, wanting to make sure they were absolutely at peace "between you and me, your pelt is beautiful" she purred. Frostflight moved back beside Nightfang, a feeling of comfort came when he rested his tail tip on her shoulder. She could see the uneasiness in his eye, and as much as she wanted the same thing that he did, she couldn't be biased about the decisions she made. She padded over to Shadestep, her gaze flickering from him to Lynks. "As much as I would like to stay and chat, the clan needs food so we really must be on our way." She turned to Shadestep one final time
"Shadestep, when I get back from patrol can I have a word with you? And the rest of the cats of course... But for now, if Lynks needs anything, food or herbs then I'm sure we can lend her some. But after that, I feel that we should send her on her way, after all, I have news... Something that will change the clan, for the better I hope." She nodded briefly, then turned and walked back over to Nightfang.

Shadestep watched the interaction between his clanmates and Lynks curiously, only a bit of concern showing. The dark cat dipped his head to Nightfang when the other tom moved to sit near him. His gaze only lingered on Nightfang for a moment more before he turned his attention back to Frostflight and Lynks. When Frostflight finally moved away from Lynks he was glad that it had all went fine, but he had never honestly doubted it would, considering Frostflight's understanding nature. His tail flicked as he listened to Frostflight and he smiled at her reassuringly when she finished. "I look forward to the news, I'm sure whatever it is it will indeed be fine for the clan, coming from you." He chuckled softly, amber eyes back to their usual brightness unlike the days before. "Thanks for being welcoming to Lynks, really." He glanced over to Lynks as he spoke, sending the bobtail cat a whimsical look, "As odd as she is she really is a good cat." Shadestep's tail moved slowly now, faintly crooking. He looked to Nightfang, wanting to ask the burning question in the back of his mind before they set off again. "What's the situation with the rogues, in camp? Are they still there?..." Though he didn't know Nightfang very well, he could still tell the pair didn't seem concerned in the way he noticed the slightly sloping shoulders and pinched expressions of the clan under the hold of the rogues. It couldn't be that they were gone, could it? StarClan, he hoped so.

He just stayed silent, if he opened his mouth he would probably say something unfriendly... he wouldn't mean to, he just didn't really trust a cat that says they are a Lynx and wanted to make a den here.. he will always have a problem with cats coming from different places and such that come here. But, he isn't heartless.. as tense as he may seem, he just wants the best for their clan and peace.. especially after that situation that he never wanted to speak of again. He just watched as they spoke, still having nothing to say to the new cat, he looked at Shadestep as he spoke to him. That question.. hadn't he been in camp? Oh well.. probably not and neither has Sunfang.. he hoped the cat with the kits would come back.. but, he opened his mouth and spoke "they are gone.. just up and left. They seemed in a hurry.." He said, his muscles were still tense, in fact everything about him seemed tense and his really tensed muscled seemed to relax a little bit when Frostflight walked back over to him. He just wanted to leave.. he wasn't trying to be rude or anything but he didn't really want to greet this cat.. even if they say she is a good cat, he didn't really know if it was just for show..

Stoneclaw sat in the middle of the camp, he felt uneasy about the sudden leaving of the rouges. He looked back at his sister who slept near the warrior den. "Glad you can finally rest my dear sister." He said under his breath. He walked towards her laying down a few inches from her. He examine her body from her lightly scarred eyes to her broken tail. "I will rip that lame excuse of a cat to shreds." His claws dug in the ground as he remembered seeing his sister unconscious at the paws of Drake.

She giggled giving the amber eyed tom a small playful nudge. She looked at Nightfang she smiled at him. "I know you dought me, but I thank you for not chasing me off." She said her bobbed tail still wagging. "I get that look from alot of Lynxes, as we are territorial cats." She looked back at Frostflight. "Oh my coat, thank you."

He looked at Lynx when she spoke, he wondered why she was telling this.. it was weird.. but, he still kept silent. His gaze staying the same, untrusting and sort of cold.. though he is usually very warm and welcoming, he wasn't overly fond of letting just any cat get past his walls that kept others out for a reason. The heart ache he had as a younger warrior was enough to hit him so hard that he out walls up and vowed not to let anyone in so easily.. but, Frostflight had been different.. there was basically no resistance to let her in, not a thought of doubt crept in that she wouldn't hurt him.. yet he still thought of what might happen if she ever did. It was hard to not think about because of everything that happened to him but, he was OK now and he knew he would be.. but thoughts of his brother crept in.. it was getting to him.. but he never showed any emotion on the surface. That would have been his down fall..

(I forgot about Sunfang! Well now that the rogues are gone... Perhaps Nightfang and Frostflight could find her sometime soon? Or she could just wonder back on her own, your call ^^)

Frostflight smiled at Shadestep, glad for his encouragement, although she wasn't too certain herself on what to do. She swished her tail anxiously "good? I'm not sure about that, although It will certainly bring change, a change I can only hope will be good." She listened quietly when Shadestep talked about being kind to Lynx, she didn't want to be hostile... but being too welcoming could cause complications. She glanced back at Nighfang, although not much emotion was shown, she could tell he was uneasy. She looked back at Lynx, not too sure on how to phrase her answer "as much as we would enjoy your help Lynx I'm afraid you can't come with us. Nightfang and I have matters to discuss... And even though I trust you, I can't risk it." She turned to face Nightfang again, feeling a little guilty.

(Lol you are so nice XD jk jk but yes she is supposed to join Nightclan sometime.. how about they run into her and the kits while they are hunting because she some how took them back due to basically no scent on the borders?)

He was still silent, though he knew Frostflight could probably tell how he was feeling.. but, he never showed the other cats in front of them. He listened to conversation and when she looked at him after she said Lynx can't come, he just gave an assuring nod to Frostflight. He looked towards Lynx to see if she was going to do anything, then he waited for Frostflight to start walking first so that he knew for sure that the new cat wasn't bad.. he didn't know why, but he thought every new cat he didn't know was suspicious. He guessed it was because of the incident and such.. he wondered where the kits and Sunfang were now.. he hoped they were ok.

Shadestep dipped his head to Frostflight when she finally turned back to Nightfang. He flicked his tail to Nightfang in farewell, a grin plastered on his face. "I can't believe they're gone, that's great news. You two get on with your hunting now, I'll meet you back at camp later. Maybe bring a catch of my own." His amber gaze studied the two for a moment more before he turned away and moved closer to Lynks' side. He couldn't help but notice the way they stood together, and he wondered briefly when they got so close. Shadestep shook his head lightly, deciding he wouldn't stick his nose into it, instead deciding to get in as much time with their curious visitor as he could. "I suppose after this it's goodbye. You've caught us at a worrisome time. Maybe you could pay us a visit after everything settles." Shadestep tilted his head to Lynks, his expression inquisitive and friendly. "While I have you though, is there anything in particular you'd like to do?"

A warm smile spread across Frostflight's face, it would be fantastic to have their camp back. "It is great" she agreed, turning to Shadestep "see you back at camp then" she purred. She nodded in Nightfang's direction and began padding away after she was out of earshot she let out a sigh of relief. "I don't know if I did the right thing..." She said, worry in her gaze as she padded onwards. Frostflight had never been particularly welcoming to strangers, but she had always been understanding, and she could see that their meeting wasn't Lynx's fault. Frostflight didn't want to be seen as soft, but she also didn't want to be too harsh. Her train of thought came to an abrupt halt as the sound of tiny paws on dry leaves met her ears. She scented the air... The smell was hard to register after further thought she decided it must be a foreign mouse or rat. Her ears swiveled madly and she pressed close to the ground, slowly creeping towards the source.

(XD Sorry I was gone so long! I'm back now, although I will still be a little inactive... I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas <3)

He smiled, "not what most cats would have done.. but you aren't most cats. Which is good.. because she would have been chased without a second thought probably if it was someone else.." He said, unsure of what to say. Then he heard something and as Frostflight scented the air, he looked around. His odd eyes were on everything that moved and then he saw movement. It was the out line of a weird looking creature.. it was in the shadows for a few moments so he was ready to pounce until he saw Sunfang's face. He looked at the extra legs and what not, realising it was the kits.. it a long moment to register.. he stared at Sunfang, who looked skinnier than before.. her eyes were dull but little Pebblekit looked fine, he couldn't really tell how the other kits looked compared to before because he had never laid eyes on them before. He guessed the She-cat had been so caught up in keeping the kits healthy and safe that she hadn't taken very good care of herself. After he thought of that, who it was that was in front them registered and his eyes went wide just as Sunfang's eyes landed on them. She looked kind but her frame was rigid, she looked like she was going to defend the kits if she had to..

Sunfang ~ 46 moons ~ Queen ~ She-cat ~ Mentions: Frostflight, Nightfang and kits

She walked with the kits, who had probably grown since they left.. she thought kits grew like weeds. She looked around, wondering why everything looked familiar and she didn't smell any scents so, she just guided the kits along. She thought they were going to find some place to rest soon until she spotted two cats.. one looked oddly familiar and the other didn't, he looked like he was a rogue and she looked like she might be reasonable but, if she was with a rogue then they both were rogues.. her yellow eyes were intense, her body language showed she was ready to defend but, something about her still seemed kind. She stopped, making the kits go into a near by Bush and she stared at the two. "We mean no harm.. we are just travelling and are just passing through.." she said, though she slightly shook from lack of eating, she was ready. She would pounce and take them both on if threatened..

Frostflight poked her nose through the bushes, coming face to face with another cat, she jumped back at the sight of the p cat's hostile body language. Had Lynx betrayed them? She gasped a breath of relief when she saw who it was "Sunfang!" She purred, her eyes drifting to the kits who looked a lot larger then they had before. Frostflight glanced back at Sunfang, she looked frail and a lot skinnier then before. She whipped around quickly, placing a paw down on the mouse she had smellt before. She killed it swiftly, and nudged in in the queen's direction "how have you been? How are the kits?" She asked eagerly, her ample eyes on the bush that the kits were hiding in.

Lynks gave Shadestep a warm smile. "Well I know she said that y'all didn't need help with hunting buut, I think a few extra rabbits couldn't hurt." She said her tail wagging like a human servant(dog). "Plus I can see how good you are at hunting." She said teasing the black tom. She had nudged him playfully before batting lightly on the ear. "Or are you scared to be shown up by a lynx." She said mischievously in his ear, she turned and run into the bushes remembering where she had caught a strong scent of rabbit as she had first entered the territory.
