Echopaw's head turned back slightly, whiskers twitching. "I guess... But what if.." his gaze turned to the side. "What if it's just a gut feeling sort of thing?" He shrugged a bit again. "I guess it's just something I'll need to see first" He knew that discussing this with the rest of the clan could lead to some.. not so good consequences, but it felt nice to talk about it with someone. It felt.. wrong to him, to pray to something he didn't quite understand yet.

Nodding her head to him, she said, "You will get to visit the Moonstone as part of your training, but you will not get a dream from StarClan unless they choose to give you one." She knew what she believed and knew that it would just take the other cat a bit longer to see that it was true. Still, Cloverspot liked knowing that her parents were watching over her. Even though a previous medicine cat was her mentor, she saw her parents occasionally.

Echopaw nodded to her, glad that he would get a chance to see Starclan for himself. He wanted to believe, but the doubts just made it too hard for him to truly be confident in that. He wouldn't want to see his mother, fearing what she would think of him now, but he would love to speak with his sister again.
He blinked his eyes, having not realized tears were forming in them. He bit into the rabbit, swiping his paw over his face.

Cloverspot noticed, she was always very attuned to the cats in her Clan, how she just pressed her side to his in a comforting way while they ate. Especially in ShadowClan, he didn't need to be seen as weak when he had just joined. Many didn't like the decision to let him join, but there hadn't been many kits or apprentices lately.

Echopaw glanced to the side as Cloverspot leaned into him, dipping his head in thanks. He trusted the medicine cat more than anyone else in the clan, at least with some of his feelings. Even Nightstar seemed hesitant to allow him into the clan, but they needed the warriors. He felt like he was walking on eggshells doing almost anything, but he tried to be relaxed most days.
When the rabbit was nearly gone, he nudged it closer to Cloverspot, so she could have the rest. "...Thanks, for letting me into your den today."

"Anytime," she purred, "Cats are always welcome in my den. If you have any questions about ShadowClan or StarClan, just let me know." She did like the young tom and it was nice to spend time with a cat that didn't just want to get fixed and leave as soon as possible.

Echopaw looked at her and gave her a genuine smile- no slight smirk or slyness- a true smile. He purred softly, tail brushing against the ground. "...Do you need help with anything today? I'm sure my mentor wouldn't miss me for a while." he held her gaze, ears turned toward her.

"You can go see what else you're mentor wants you to do, I have a pretty easy day today," she smiled, "Tomorrow, though, I need to go to the Moonstone." She knew that he was probably still curious about that and she liked telling him what she was allowed to.

Echopaw nodded to her, tail raising off the floor. "Alright. I'll talk to you later then?" He purred, glancing at the entrance behind him, only to turn his head back towards her. "You know... If you need an escort, I wouldn't mind traveling with you. Where is the Moonstone?" He tilted his head, ears turned to listen to her.

Purring some, she said, "Thank you, Echopaw, but I don't think that you would escort me until closer to the end of your training. It is a long ways to go and you would need traveling herbs to get there without losing strength. Also, we get closer to WindClan territory and they wouldn't want more cats they're than just medicine cats."

Echopaw's head tilted back slightly in thought, his tail sweeping along the ground. "But... Seeing what goes on there would help me to understand more of starclan. I don't want the whole clan breathing down my scruff over not, well, knowing." Echopaw looked at Cloverspot, smiling. "And hey, I'd be there to defend ya." He puffed out his chest, tail swishing against the ground.

Sighing, she said, "Ask Nightstar, I won't tell you no, but ask him and your mentor." Cloverspot wanted to make sure they he learned what he needed to and wanted to, but didn't want the leader or his mentor to be upset with her for allowing it without permission.
