Silence ensued as not another word was spoken between the two. Their sole beings were too focused on detecting any sort of trace of the unwelcome guest.

Suddenly, Rhubarbs ears flicked up as small pebbles began to tumble down the small mound of dirt, something he failed to notice before.

Putting on a stern expression, when internally he was completely curios as to why another lion, especially a male, was out here when the closest pride was miles away. A rogue lion did come across his mind, but he decided to questioning the male would get him the answers he needed.
”We are no harm..but if i may ask, I was informed that there were no neighboring prides out in this deserted area..or is it that you are alone?” he questioned, tilting his head sideways, an old habit he’s had since he was a mere cub, and lowered his stance to a more friendly one, gesturing a ‘we mean no harm’ sort of way.

Boysenberry had remained silent throughout the whole exchange, her eccentric eyes narrowed into a scrutinizing glare, body still tensed into a ‘fight or flight’ response, in case the male suddenly decides to make a move on them.

”Another pride..” the male whispered to himself, furrowing his brows as he stared at the ground below him.

”My King, we should go. If the male says there is another pride, they may be another threat and we do not need that right now” Boysenberry reasoned, looking towards the male who was lost in his own thoughts. Not hearing a response, she turned her head to the male with a look of confusion and called the King again, but the male seemed to have ignored her, focused solely on the male.

”And this pride,” the smile wiped off his face, “,are they a threat?” he sternly questioned, his and Donatello’s, a good ally, pride that may just be at stake. ”And to answer your question, I can ask you the same thing. Its not safe for a lion to wander alone and certainly not safe if we don’t know if this lion may be a threat.” he clenched his jaw, eyes narrowing in suspicion.
