she took a deep breath in and was about to reply yes, but only sulked and imagined Leopardfur giving her a lecture. "no...i got caught in the moment, hunting always gives such a thrill, especially when prey fights back!" she said getting back up and excited again.

Makoto perks his ears,curiously speaking as he begins to walk. "A shaman? What does a shaman do?" He asks, never having seen one in person before.

Ambrosia grins and laughs at that, her hoarse gritty voice sounding more like a roar than laughter. A thrill? Of course! Hunting was the best passtime she could ever imagine!. "Hahaha, that brings me back to old memories. I used to be like you, when i was tiny and weak. She growls, still chuckling. "if you think killing a Dik Dik is fun, wait until yoi are big enough to take down a giraffe!" She says mimicing a stalking pose, laying low in the grass and swishing her tail.

"well, in our pride at least, we heal wounds and the sick, as well as lead our fallen pride members to the lions of the stars. Our lead huntress has actually passed away not too long ago. "he said looking towards the sky. "its very nice up there, but at the same time i like it down here. " he smiled softly.


"you've hunted a giraffe?! all by your self?!" she said in surprise, looking at the lioness, "how'd you do it?" she asked egarly. she liked this lioness, non from her pride were nearly this cool!

Makoto looks to the sky as well, a curious, almost sad twinkle in his eye. "Lions of the stars? So that is where the passed have gone then?" He looks back fowards and hums slightly. "A pride shaman sounds like a very important job, you must be looking foward to becoming one."

Ambrosia grins widely waving her tail and standing once more. Any chance to toot her own horn she would take. "oh yes, many giraffe, even hippos or rhinos if i am in the mood."

"heheheh yeah, im learning from my aunts and uncle. Uncle says their something that's different about me and my sister. i just hope its a good different. but that enough about me, what about you? what's your pride like and its customs?" he said soft smile, laying down and getting comfortable.


"that's like a death wish all on your own! you gotta teach me one day! man i can already imagine their faces when i bring back a hippo all on my own" she said getting into a playful stalking position.

Makoto sits and smiles slightly. "Customs? Well my elder, Yukio like to tell stories from prides far and wide, but i mostly just collect toys to give to prides who are less fortunate. Our pride is small, only three lions (soon to be four!) At the moment." He smiles softly and waves his tail. "We are not really a pride so to speak, more of just a bunch of friends haha."

Ambrosia chuckles and shakes her head. "You would probably be crowned the best huntress in all the lands. Next to me of course." She proudly puffed up then tilted her head slightly."So, are you here alone or do you have other pride members here as well?"

"really? that doesnt seem so bad. prides can be a hassle sometimes, especially large ones like mine. nearly 40 lions. a good thing we have so many shamans, we need what we can get" he chuckled.


"heck yeah! maybe ill even be a queen one day! oh, well my brother is probably freaking out at the territory boarder, besides that im pretty much alone." she said truthfully. "he can be such a softy sometimes, but he fun to bring along and tease" she said with a goofy smirk. "what about you? are you alone?"

Ambrosia rolls her eyes. "Unfortunetly no, my pridemate Makoto is wandering around gathering those silly shells that he is so fond of. I don't see why he is so determined to gather them. Just silly trinkets."

"truely it is, but we're all one huge family really. aunts and sisters, cousins, we'll even accept outsiders sometimes. but its always nice to meet other prides and a little peace and quiet. " he said letting out a content sigh.


"my brother is too, said something about decorations and trading them for items. and for our uncle. as long as he doesnt get in the way of my hunting i could care less about it really"

A white lioness dipped her head into a bush of herbs. Two other cubs, one blue and white and the other one cream, were bouncing around, constantly tripping. The blue one stopped and sat, waiting for the other one to stop. The white lioness soon rose her head and glanced at the two cubs, twitching her nose angered. "Stop making noises. You don't want to draw attention, do you? I can't defend you both from a male." She almost snarled, making the blue cub roll her eyes. "We aren't drawing attention to us. We're just pla-..." The white lioness started snarling lowly. "Shut it." Her head dipped back into the bush. The creamy male cub watched the two, chuckling quietly. The female cub rolled her eyes and approached him, snapping her teeth in front of his face suddenly. The male cub jumped back, surprised. He rolled his eyes and calmed down his breath.

"Thank you," the lioness said, "Though I don't believe we've actually have introduced ourselves. I am called Pleione. I travelled here in an effort to both get away from my pridr's current king, and also in an effort to gain some support for the rest of us in the pride".

Makoto sighs and smiles looking off in the distance, his lean shoulders sagging slightly. "That sounds lovely actually. It can get quite lonely here sometimes. We don't get many visitors..." He adds on with a light laugh, looking back to Sunflower. "Probably because Ambrosia likes to scare everyone. Haha."

Ambrosia grins, she felt the same way about Makoto, though more often than not he would end up scaring away her prey anyway. Sometimes she swore he did it on purpose. "Haha, i know that feeling." She sneezes lightly and growls. "Someone must be talking about me...Speaking of Makoto, i should probably go find his lazy butt before he drags home another elephant skull."

Lonesome stalked through the tall grassland, grumbling angrly as his old bones creaked. It was getting harder and harder for him to patrol with his old age....Pausing to rest a moment his red eyes caught sight of movement near a bush, and he cautiously approached, staying low in the grass, unsure if what he was seeing was prey, or an intruder.
