Quinn blinks a few times and tilts his head a bit to the side, worry being somewhat replaced by confusion. Glad to meet him? Most lions he knew he ended up annoying, well other than yukio of course. He smiles a tiny bit, his tiny caninie teeth poking out a little under his lips. "Oh, um....it's nice to meet you too." He says as he relaxes a little, flicking his ear at an annoying fly buzzing around.

" I enjoy meeting new lionesses and lions. "Sunglare says to him. She swats a fly away from Quinn. She smiles at him. A few minutes latter she nuzzles him. Sunglare is obviously glad to have meet Quinn.

The same cub who asked who the strange lion was piped up, an angry expression on his face. "Scrawny?" he asks angrily, and he stomps in front of the lion. "Let's get him!" he shouts to the other cubs. Soon enough, all of the cubs that were behind me had grouped up and stood in front of the lion.
I tried to herd them back towards me but it was too late. The cubs had already started climbing the lion's tail and legs and piling up on his back, still too small to do any damage or make a grown lion fall. I finally show my fear and my eyes widen. I whisper something to the snake, and he inches closer to the lion.

Quinn's fur fluffs up like a scared kitten and waves his tiny paws in the air, comicially falling on his back with a thud. He looks at her with a rather hilarious exspression of confusion and surprise. He wasn't used to anyone getting that close to him. "Errm?"

Not wanting to risk being bitten by the snake, frode over dramatically falls on his side, rolling on his back, pretending to be gravely injured by the cub's little bites. "Ack! You heathens! You have foiled me!" He lays there, staring at the sky, pretending to be dead.

The cubs fall off as the lion rolls over, laugh, then stare at the lion. Their eyes grow wide with shock. "Is he dead?" one asks.
"We can defend ourselves, Mau Loa!" another shouts toward me. They stick out their tongue, then look back to the lion.
The cub who asked if the lion was dead runs back behind me and watches the other cubs as they play king-of-the-hill atop the lion. I was still suspicious of the lion so I walk a bit closer, the cub following slowly, and the snake climbs back onto my back, at his 'perch' by my hind legs. I sit and watch the cubs warily, my muscles tensed.

"Thank you, I thought the moat was a nice feature. However, your sandcastle isn't the only thing that is beautiful here." Corvona joked, adding a large paw print to the side of his castle. Getting into February spirit never hurt anyone; unless you got slapped, that is. Pleased with his creation, Corvona rolled into his side, watching Ayame sort the items.

One of the cubs smiles. "It's a zombie!" he squeals. The rest of the bunch follow along, running in circles, bumping into each other, and shouting the word 'zombie' over and over again. I watch in confusion, not knowing what this word 'zombie' meant. I assumed it was something Nightmare had told the cubs to keep them up at night since they were acting afraid. I finally relax a bit while the cubs play, and the lion seeming less a threat that he had to me earlier. I look behind me, searching for the cobra, but can't find him... where could he be?

Ayame blushes and falls foward, planting her face into the sandcastle, her embarassed laughing muffled by the sand. She springs back up after a bit, wiping sand from her face with her paw, still giggling a bit, a shell stuck to her forehead. She speaks in giggles, waving her fin back and fourth in the shallow pool of river water. "Hahaha, are you trying to turn my scales pink?" She says jokingly, her scales wouldn't turn pink, not like her cheeks at the moment anyway.

Ambrosia chuckles, then tilts her head in thought. "Yeah, you could call me that...sorta. Heh, i just keep trouble makers out, the guys in my pride are too....weak, or lazy to do it themselves.Heh, hunting is more of a hobby."

Makoto smiles a bit in admiration. He wished he could have met the old leader of this pride, he was sure he would have liked him.
