Ayame smiles kindly as she listens, it was nice to have someone to talk to, and really appreciated Corvona's company. Corvona seemed to be a very kind king, and at hearing what he had to say about taking in lions who were vulnerable her smile beams and her eyes almost sparkle with admiration. "That is a very kind thing for you to do! I am sure they really appreciate your thoughtfulness." She shifts on her paws, looking to small caves under an overhanging bank nearby. They looked as if lions had been living there, but were now empty, other than a small primal cub who was napping in a kelp like nest near the edge of the river, obviously where Ayame slept at night. "I try to help anyone looking for a new pride who comes through here, but lately nobody has come around." She looks back to Corvona, her smile softening a bit. "Though i suppose that is a good thing. It is better that a lion finds a home than to be stuck with me haha."

"I hope they do enjoy being with me and my pride, I try my hardest but even I worry that it is not enough." Corvona confessed, however a sincere smile grew on his face at her kind words, and an even wider grin appeared when he heard that Ayame tried to direct prideless lions and lionesses to a home. His smile faltered slightly as the mer-lioness compared herself to being 'stuck with'. "Stuck with? Why ever would a lion think that? If that thought even crossed their mind whilst being with you, I am sure they have been in the sun too long and their brain has been frazzled to a crisp. I for one think that you are good company." Corvona spoke, hopeful that his words would lift her thoughts about herself.

Ayame laughs lightly, her spirits cheered by his words. "Your too kind, really. And if i were homeless i would join your pride in less than a shake of a rattle snake's tail. You really are an admirable king."

"well, all we really ask is not to intentionally hurt someone, be respectful and no fighting within the inner pride lands" Sunflower says with a smile as they approach a large hill, the watering hole now within eyesight


"well, Leopardfur and Blackheart seem to like breaking the rules...dad normally puts them in place" she smirks and giggles.

Makoto nods and chuckles. "Ah well, no need to worry about that, i'm sure Ambrosia will behave herself. I am looking foward to meeting your friends and family." He says as he looks at the waterhole up ahead, a hint of curiosity twinkling in his eye. Ambrosia simply rolls her eyes at his comment.Sometimes makoto was just plain annoying.

as they get closer, he first thing that approaches are several cubs that tackle Sunflower to the ground. three of 4 of them look like primal cubbin. "ahaha, hey hey i missed you too! oh! we got to prepare you for tomorrow " he says nuzzling two of the primals.

sundrop rolled her eyes "what a softy" she mumbled. " Ambrosia, i'll show you the cool part of the pride, i dout you want to see the nursery and flower fest over there" she said to the older lioness

Makoto chuckles softly, he adored cubs, though his pride had none to speak of, other than lonesome's heir. "Prepare them for what, if i may not be so rude to ask?"


Ambrosia nods, waving her tail high, her tone somewhere inbetween joking and being serious. "Lead the way, tiny cubs annoy me to no ends." The truth was is that she really did not like to scare young cubs, which she normally did unintentionally.

"oh, for their new homes. we have too many cubbin to keep them in our pride. we were given the cubs due to the fact of their mother could not care for them. we offer to keep them safe till we found them a forever home" he said leading Makoto and the cubs back to the nursery. "we often have to do so sadly, but they always come back to vist family" he smiled. "Tawnypelt should be home soon, he's extremely shy though. hmmm, want to meet father first?"


leopardfur and blackheart glare from a distance, flicking their tails and ear's back. "dont mind them, they just like to cause trouble." Sundrop told Ambrosia quietly. she secretly feared the two lioness...

Makoto was still watching the little ones, then turned his head back to face Sunflower, smiling. Ah, seeing cubs at play really brightened the spirits! "i would love to."

Ambrosia chooses not even to spare the two lionesses another glance, snarkily huffing. "I see..." She spoke amusedly, Flicking her tailtip high in the air, mumbling more to herself than to sundrop. "It takes more than kittens to intimidate this old girl."

"the only lions that can handle them are the Queen, pride male, and tigerstarlette who's now lead huntress, our old one passed away " she informed the lioness, she sighed "leopardfur is suppose to be my mentor too...anyway-"

A lioness tackles Sundrop, a lioness in her prime years of age. "moooooom stop it-" Sundrop tried to push off her mother at no avail. Opalpelt finally looked up at the other lioness, "is this your friend? about time someone brought in a lioness who can scare the crap outta- leopar-"
"moooom!"



the little ones followed egarly. finally, apon a hill resting, was a large primal male. "hey dad" Sundrop said softly, Icestorm smiled and arose, "Sunflower! how've you been! oh, you brought a visitor too!" the king said egarly.

Ambrosia laughs and sits, to calm her laughter a bit. She didn' want to embarrass Sundrop. "Haha, that was quite a pounce miss."


Makoto dips his head in greeting and respect, all of his confidance melting at the sight of the large, and quite handsome king. He had met only a few adult primal males before and this lovely king's size and stature was quite a shock to him.He speaks timidly, holding a tone of respect for both Sunflower and Icestorm. "My name is Makoto. It is an honor to meet the father of such a kindhearted lion as sunflower."
